He did admit the old BMW's were ok. I've had an E38 for 15 years now, and with proper maintenance and care I've got a luxo drive that's not expensive to own and has a timeless classic look. I bought a low mileage one recently which I've tucked away for when or if my current one is ever damaged beyond economical repair

He had one it lasted like 3 airings before getting zonked.
His show was called "Car Issues with Tyler Hoover", and it aired on the FYI network about a year ago. They did air the full season of 12 30-minute episodes, each of which dealt with him buying two hoopties, running them around, and then taking them to the Car Wizard for a repair estimate. At that point Tyler would decide to either keep the car or move on. It honestly wasn't that different from what he's always done on this channel, just with a bit more travel involved and slicker, professional editing.
Plus of course there's Car Trek, which is very professionally done and "airs" on Tavarish's channel (link in this video's description above). That show follows the old Top Gear's "cheap car challenge" format and is quite entertaining.

With all due respect to Jay Leno's Garage, this is the show I wanted that to be, it's a great show Tyler, thank you, I hope you enjoy making it for many years, we enjoy watching it!
Without a doubt Jay is the top car guy though, its just that its for fun for him nowadays, while with Tyler it can be more serious and more in depth.... plus Tyler is younger and understands youtube better, has a better "relationship" with his viewers.....

Very cool Hoovie, I think that the Lambo interior is perfect for the period. For me personally, I'd like you to create a relationship with an interior/upholstery shop like you have with Scoobie's Maaco shop. Wizard was not good on camera originally and now he's exploding. All of these people are personalities on your channel and they're better for it.

When I was 16 I had a 325e e30 just like that one we aren’t supposed to know about. Same color and everything. I loved that car more than any other I’ve owned. So much fun to drive. Is it a manual like mine was? I sure hope so. Great collection!

I just rescued a 1995 Cadillac deville of my own the other day. The car belonged to my uncle who passed in 2013 from lung cancer. My family sold her in 2015. A few days ago I found her on marketplace and had to bring her back where she belongs. I know not many would invest into my sedan deville but I cant wait to get her going and in perfect condition. She has the 4.9 V8 also. I also rescued a 2000 Seville sts close to 2 years ago and that car has treated me so well. I am looking forward to starting the restoration of my hooptie which is my baby.

I have a 83 Wagoneer that has been in the family since new. All original, 360 V-8, 3 speed 727 TF, 140 net HP, 8.25:1 compression ratio, and 11 m.p.g. Consider finding sponsors to provide off the shelf aftermarket parts to upgrade the engine and transmission of your Wagoneer to port fuel injection and a 4 speed OD automatic transmission. The goal being the best fuel economy with the stock block and heads. And no LS swap.

hi tj. I asked him before about this exact question, while he was doing a live video. he has what I guess you would call a fleet insurance with an insurance broker. he paid a set fee for the year, of around 5000 dollars at that time. this was a few years ago, before he had the really expensive cars. he said he'd just ring them up everytime he bought or sold a car. I assume he plays slightly more now due to the more exotic cars. I do remember that 5000 dollars was for around 20 cars at the time.

Yeah you realize that here in the USA neither of those makes ever sold more than about 12 cars. I don't even think you could buy a new Lancia in the USA unless it was a grey market import. They just weren't on the ground here in the USA when they were new, thus they don't have much of a following, unlike in Europe. I'd bet there are more Ferraris and Lambos here in the USA than Alfas, the only Lancias I've ever seen in the states belong to the Lane Motor Museum.

Hoovie,, nice buy! When I worked at a Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth dealership. I had a friend in South Georgia that had a hunting range. Multiple acres. He would buy every Old Jeep Wagoneer that I could find . His customers loved being able to take all of their hunting party in the same vehicle. No matter how bad the terrain was.
