This is a MAN right here. Honest, vulnerable, helping people. He might feel as if he’s lost his masculinity, but in my eyes, he’s a shining example of masculinity at its best.
Love for your wife can also be shown in other ways, a cuddle in bed, talking to each other, that is love. much strength and thanks for your testimony, ❤
A neighbour of mine had his penis amputated due to cancer. It was a terrible time watching his mental health decline. He has now sadly passed away after a massive heart attack. RIP Barry. Still remembering you mate.
Of course his mental health declined! WTF why are we not getting at least reconstructive surgery for these men… wait that’s right they’re MEN! They should be on the front lines dying in battle and pay out their entire lives for “women” taking their $! Who cares about them when there’s so many other people with “problems” more important….
A friend of mine lost his penis and testicles too, and eventually just had what was left changed into a proto-vagina. There was enough tissue there to at least allow him some sensation. He’s still a man, but now he has female genitalia. He has to take hormones though for the rest of his life.
Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR USA has specialty surgeons that can rebuild the genitals into a neophallus. It is a penis made from forearm tissue, usually. It's not exactly the same as a regular penis, but it's made from the body's own tissue so there is no need to take immune suppressants and the neophallus does have sensation. A device can also be used to create an erection so it can be used for that function. There are other doctors that can perform this difficult series of operations but I'm most familiar with the OHSU team.
@cherylkoski7184 I mean they didn't say happy. She's probably not necessarily "happy", same with him, but they said loyal and moving forward which is what they both should do. All while trying to find someone who can rebuild the penis like he mentioned and getting therapy. I sure wouldn't be happy in this situation, either. But you deal with it and move on as best as you can. At least she is still with him and they're working through it together like they should be.

We’ve been married nearly 25 years and I love him even more after he helped me heal. BEST man I’ve ever known. This man’s wife loves him, too, I’m SURE of it!
As a woman I wish there was a lot more education/discussion about hysterectomies and what all the procedure and aftermath entails. I feel very much in the dark still about this subject. I think-even though his circumstances are very different-the end result of the trauma and the feeling of disconnection from the expression of your own sexuality, makes me think about women who’ve undergone FGM. I think maybe looking at how people with experiences similar to his own are coping might help him. He seems resigned but very sad about his situation and it would be wonderful if he managed to find zest for life again.

The way the doctors treated him (if you even want to call it that) is nothing short of medical abuse and malpractice. The sheer emotional and informational consent issue ALONE should have this man rolling in dough for the rest of his natural life. Utterly unacceptable.
Just curious why do you think it’s medical malpractice? I can’t make a judgment on that because I don’t have enough proof to know if they did the procedure correctly or not
The primary focus was on removing the cancer. It would have been a form of skin cancer, which can easily spread. It's interesting that he was given an epidural instead of a general anaesthetic, as that isn't normal; so it's reasonable to assume that he has other serious health issues which might limit what kind of reconstitution is possible.

You have more manhood in one finger than some people have in their whole bodies. I hope talking about this has helped both of you. I now think that shame might be the most destructive force in the human world. Shame destroys...everything. I admire your resilience and courage. I don't think people understand how difficult it can be for men to speak out about issues related to their masculinity. There is so much talk in the world about how patriarchy oppresses women but patriarchy also oppresses men who were born into that cultural construct. Having the courage to speak out about something so sensitive is a direct rebuke to patriarchal norms and this benefits everyone.

Brave man, Craig. You are helping others so much by sharing your story. I'm sorry that there was no one for you to speak to and the care after your operation was very lacking. I can only imagine the physical and psychological problems you have faced.
He's more of a man than any other. I really hope he is in therapy, lots of therapy. I wish them the best, his wife is amazing too.
Very strong man for sharing his story. It will help a lot of people.
How? It will happen and bad rate I read ? Not like Breast cancer
You are more of a man than loads of men who rely on their physical appearance or money to attract the women out there. Thanks for being so open and vulnerable! ❤
The fact that she is still married to him speaks volumes. There's a lot of love and respect ❤❤. Life does go on, they have each other
Craig, you are saving LIVES!
I hope you know, by sharing your story so courageously, you are gaining a much greater purpose than what you thought that your destiny would ever have imagined for you, and something GREAT will be in store for you because of it.

Such a brave man and such a brave woman, they support each other so well. Testament to a good relationship
You are alive, seen another day is a blessing, next to your loved ones, after my surgery last year, after suffering for 3 years, they couldn't find out what was causing my horrible pains, couldn't even walk, I was and am thankfull that I found a doctor and found out, got my surgery 3 weeks later, I have a lot recovering to do still, but I am alive, thankfull for each day ❤ keep on going through this life walking with love.
Thanks you so much for shining a light on this cancer which is never talked about !
What a strong couple to come forward and share something so incredibly personal. Thank you for sharing, you have no idea how many people might be saved from you coming forward.
Breast cancer and penis cancer change so much more than just your physical appearance. Wishing you good health.
There has to be a surgeon in this world with a kind heart that will help this man somewhere! I'm a woman and I am having sympathy pain! Also why the hell did they make the hose purple?! Dead wrong for that!
I got a feeling he did not have the opportunity of the best options in the medical world.
Hose colours may have multiple reasons. ( Atlets and drugs , sterilizable material, codes)
@@tpilot_error404it was so unfortunate that this also occurred at the same time as the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. They needed to discharge as many people as possible from the hospitals because they were starting to fill up with sick patients! 😢
No. That was a lie. I went to the hospitals during that time and they were always empty af. They looked like Abandoned hospitals(AbbaDon) like exactly what it says in the Bible. @@michby[The Bible verse that mentions Abaddon is Revelation 9:11, which states: "They had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek is Apollyon".

@solangelalebron1348 I was also in the hospital during Covid and it was packed.
Sorry for your delusional illness.
@@Stopthisrightnow560 I guess you must live in a different realm, of the Underworld. The Righteous didn't see any of that mess.
Well done for speaking up, it cant have been easy
My lord , 2024, And a doctor cant repair this gentleman ! I honestly cant see nothing good in this day & age . Except unconditional love , God bless you both
Exactly what I was thinking, this is so sad.
He is a brave man. He speaks for so many people.
He has my heartfelt sympathy and my deepest admiration.
Oh good heavens….you were left to cope alone! So sorry you had to experience and endure such terrible medical lack! You deserved psychological therapy to get through this, anyone would! May better days come to you both!
Nothing is your fault….Wishing you two the best!
Wow! You are fortunate to have each other and demonstrate the meaning of unconditional love. Not everyone gets that in a lifetime.
Brave couple!!!! I hope they get the mental health help that they both deserve, individually and as a couple. Don't give up hope. It can get better with hard work and help!
This man is helping to reach others who may be in his position or who know of someone who is.❤
I wish all the best for you both! You are the epitome of masculinity Craig, you have such strength and I know you will help so many people sharing your story 👏
My sincere heartfelt thoughts to you, and yr wife, even though you have lost yr manhood, and all of the loss, heartache, and trauma you have experienced and still are, do you realise what you've shared is the most bravest thing, I've ever heard, you are a MAN TEN FOLD, you may not feel it , but from where all of us watching and listening, YOU ARE, A MAN'S MAN. 100%, I do not know where you go from here, but I can tell you, you have made a difference, in your loss, and suffering, other men, who have had that same opportunity and outcome, will be helped by you, and your story, God bless you, and your wife, ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your story. It takes a strong person to share such a sensitive topic with the public. I’m so glad that you have your wife by your side and you’re still here with us. Such a genuine fella. ❤
Much respect and appreciation for this man's bravery, willingness, and honesty.
I am thankful you are alive such a nice man❤
What a very brave man. I find it impossible that he had no proper counselling. What a wonderful couple.
I am sorry that this happened to you, but grateful you are alive.
Well done for being so open . A rare lifeline for some guy in same position
That’s so sad but he’s so brave to share his story and experience of what he went through and to prove that it’s not the end of the world. I really admire him and if this story helps someone who might be going through the same including me one day if it comes to loosing my penis or someone else then it’s been worth sharing this video online, thank you and I wish him and his loyal wife all the best for the future.
Nothing to be embarrassed about. You are a brave amazing man
I think-even though his circumstances are very different-the end result of the trauma and the feeling of disconnection from the expression of your own sexuality, makes me think about women who’ve undergone FGM.
I think maybe looking at how people with experiences similar to his own are coping might help him. He seems resigned but very sad about his situation and it would be wonderful if he managed to find zest for life again.
Sir....your a very brave man...more than many
What a lovely couple. This man’s bravery will help a countless number of men and women. Thank you for sharing your story. God bless you😢 XX
Thank you very much for sharing your story, Craig. You're very brave. I hope you reach a point where you can be more open with Claire. Sending you prayers.
What a True Power Couple! Love it! ❤👍🏽
❤ healing and peace of mind to this man. What a story. I love that she mentioned how she doesn't even know how to go in for a cuddle and he acknowledged it and said that that would be possible ❤❤❤❤ sex really isnt everything. Its not what keeps real love together. But a cuddle can do wonders.
You are amazing. Bless your heart, and bless your sweet wife.
Thank you for being so brave and strong and sharing your story Craig. It is so important to share awareness about such rare types of cancer and hopefully this will help more men !
God bless this man! Thank you for being strong and sharing your story. It is very important for everyone to learn about this type of cancer.
What a remarkable couple you are. Thank you for being so candid and sharing what has been a very traumatic and private experience. You have been through a type of bereavement. You are far more of a man than many I can name. There is a reason why God saved you twice…..and you are living that reason….by sharing your story so that this may help others xx Thank you both 🙏
Poor guy 48 hours out so sad I’m so sorry praying for both of them , thank you for sharing 😢😢❤❤❤❤❤
Why are you sad? A lot of woman want a man like him
My heart goes out to both of you.
Thank you for being brave and sharing your story. It touched my older sons. They said that knowing that for men sharing a traumatic experience and being vulnerable is ok and it should be done more often.
Being able to talk about something as personal as this, and traumatic, would be so hard to get around all rhe different thoughts you get, . Kudos to both of you for having the strength to still be there and supporting each other, and now, brave enough to take this step of coming out and taking about it.
Wow. This is incredible. This couple is completely amazing!!!! We’re all praying for you guys !!!!keep each other strong and patient❤
Very sad situation for any man
Poor guy. So brave to share his story. Keep your head up! You have so many that love you especially your wife.
Thank you for sharing your story Craig. I was deeply touched by your experience and am so sorry you had to go through this during the pandemic. Can’t imagine the sense of loneliness you must have felt but goes to show just how resilient you are to keep moving forward. So very happy that your wife is by your side every step of the way. I hope you continue to share and be a voice for men around the world in the same circumstance, there is so much value in it.
Thank you for sharing ao vulnerably. My heart goes out to you. I wish you all the care and support that you need. God bless you both.
I have such respect and admiration for this man and his lovely wife. I too had cancer years ago, with complications, so I lost more than anticipated. I can therefore understand deeply the shock and pain that Craig is still going through. He is incredibly courageous, and I so hope with time, that he understands he is more of a man for this bravery than any surgery could take away. Sending both Craig and Colette so much love and respect, and hope that one day soon you will also find peace. God bless you both xoxo
Amazing strength and bravery in sharing your story. You are a couple that truly inspires.
God bless you Craig and Colette you are a very strong MAN for coming out and talking about this and telling your story, your a bigger man than a lot of other men could be especially for being able to sit in front of a camera and tell your story, i do feel you have been let down by some professionals after you had the surgery but i hope now after you speaking out that everything comes in to place and that you will get the help and support that you need professionally, but having a wife and a rock like Colette is amazing and i wish you both nothing but happiness and love for the rest of your life together and i do hope that some how there is a way that you can get what you want with the penis rebuilding or something that will make you feel more comfortable etc but honestly may god bless the both of you in the next journey of your life together. Stuart from Aberdeen
I'm so happy he and his wife are still together. My heart breaks for him. You are so brave and strong, God bless you both💓💓
I would have let the cancer take me. This man is incredibly brave and I wish him the absolute best.
Came here totally accidentally. What a story... Keep being as strong as you both are. I feel for you. Thank you for this wonderful idea to share it with others. It might help others in many ways. Pain will go away and hopefully you'll get adjusted to a discomfort. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for sharing and enlightening us all. You are truly so strong and brave. Hats off to you!
Hats off 📴
You’re both so strong and incredible. You are not disgusting and you are not weak.
Very sad story and I pray this man gets the therapy he really needs. I hope menwatching this might understand better when us woman need a hysterectomy or mastectomy. You just don't see videos like this really of what women suffer as well. God, bless this couple, .et their love continue and givethis man peace of mind. I pray the same for all my sisters out there that have lost their breasts and or internal sex organs.
I am so sorry for all the pain and heartache this couple have gone through. Very brave for this gentleman to share his story.
It sounds like it wasn't spreading at all till they started poking around with it.
This poor poor man. I can’t even imagine the alienation he must feel.
God bless you sir thank you for sharing so we can all become aware of this terrible situation you shared information that has stigma attached. And I will be sharing this with every man I know your video will definitely save lives ❤❤❤Australian 😊 you are erasing the stigma and get the conversation started. You are an amazing man
Thank you so much for sharing your story. Devastating as it has been, you are still alive with a good woman by your side. I wish you both the very best, because what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. ❤😊
Thank you for sharing your story. God bless you both and you are blessed to keep your marriage and your faith. Be strong and be together.
Thank for showing us all what the meaning of true love is between two people that truly love each other. You are a example to us all.
May God bless this man and wife wiith comfort and healing.
Bless this man and his wife. Drawing attention to penile cancer. It comes to mind of a mastectomy for a woman. He is so brave to speak about his experience.
I’m in awe of this man’s courage & kindness!❤Thinking of others who may have to suffer from the same loss & helping them through this difficult times 🙏🏼 What a wonderful man!!! May God Bless him & his lovely wife🙏🏼💕
She has a BEAUTIFUL smile.😮
Thanks for sharing. You're such a sweet man. We are all glad you're here!
Craig you are an amazing human. I pray for your future. You deserve the best.
My heart goes out to both of you. It takes a lot of strength to talk about something so deeply personal and painful. I admire you both for standing together through this with your marriage intact. Wishing you both the best.
