The UK is locked down too, been like it for three weeks so far. Had to cut their nails twice in the three weeks 😭 I normally do it when I'm at work at the groomers it's easier when they are standing on a table but I found at home it works better when I have them laying down like you did with Zazu and walle !
Have too because of the pandemic . By the way, both are very cutie adorable.

I loved the part where Zazu doesn't look at Mom while she was cutting his nails. I do the same when I have vaccines because I don't like to look at the syringe which makes sick !

Walls is such a brat 😂 Zazu is like “you’re suchhh a child it didn’t even hurt and we get treats!”
I think zazu was looking going I did get cuddles and treats. I just got treats.
Perils of being a good boy.
Some dogs are terrified of nail clipping because in the past someone slipped up and cut into the quick. Can you imagine how that would stay in your mind?!!! Not saying it happened to Walle, but he is no "big baby"...just wary. His Mom and Dad know that and just give him a few extra kisses, cuddles, and keep their voices calm and matter of fact. Treats always help, too, right? 😉
We adopted an adult black lab back a few yrs.and weren't sure how to safely trim his nails, so when we took him to a new young, "brilliant," super confidant veterinarian, we asked him to teach us what to watch for. Wouldn't you know, he caused Tippy pain on the first paw!! I wanted to grab the hotshot and choke him!!!
Wow, Zazu is sooo good and calm without complaining during cutting nails! Hard to believe!

Walle is a good boy… just that he is a new dog and needs to adapt in their lifestyle. It will take some time but one day he is going to be better the Walle

We had a Lab and a GSP. They were the best of friends. I miss my girls. Great combo.
Our GSP is the same, so dramatic...love him so much no matter what
I love how many times Walle yawned whilst having his nails done and that whining noise he made haha too cute!!

IWTBF cute, but yawning and lip licking are signs of stress. Same with Zazu looking away. Not that it’s horrible they’re stressed here haha, but good to know dog body language!
Walle is so expressive at his distaste and boredom with the entire event! Clearly he had better things to do with his time!

The opening of the video with momma kissing Walle was so heart touching. And it was so amazing to see how Zazu kept his calm throughout while his nails are being cutoff. Walle was as usual in his jolly mood

The GSP I fostered was a wuss when it came to cutting his claws too. We had to have the vet do it because I'm not a contorionist.

My gsp doesn't mind nail cutting at all. If she sees me with a nail clipper she will come right to me then holds perfectly still while I cut her nails. Now if I could get her to listen as well as Walle on most everything else I'd be an extremely happy camper. I'm not going to complain though as she is actually pretty good for a rescue.

Zazu is just amazing. He's slow and lethargic...except ....for when he has an opportunity to SNATCH food from Walle. Then he moves like lightening...in this video and in the Cheese race video Zazu is snatching food in the blink of an eye. LOVED the way he wouldn't look at his nail trimming. Just like me when I get blood drawn. Can't look at it. Like you said...half human...maybe even more.

I like watching your videos. I recently lost my pet because of a fast growing tumour in his neck just a day before his 13th Birthday. I miss him a lot, he was exactly like zazu. Looks, behaviour, color everything. Your videos make me feel I m watching Romi in a movie and he will just come back to me. Wow 😳, you are so good at this. Zazu is beyond exceptional 👍😍 Walle is more typical because most dogs don’t stay well for nail clipping. Some people using a grinder to file the nails down so they cut them too short. You seem to be doing an excellent job, and watch out for the quiet one (Zazu). He really surprised me. With that face, he can get away with anything 🥰 and even tries to apologize. Sweet Zazu 😍 Love you guys. Stay safe

That brings back memories lol. We had an Irish wolfhound, cutting his nails was a major drama for the big baby. He would try to 'punch' you, and if you've ever been punched by a wolfie, you know you've been punched.

We always try to catch Ranger in the evening when he's worn out to grind his nails down with the dremel. He's a spaz like Walle and squirms the whole time. I yearn for the day Ranger just chills out during pawdicure time like Zazu lol
I love that you show the sweet cuddly side of GSP's with Walle as well. I feel like people only ever talk and show the crazy (which they are lol) and therefore people don't get to know the sweet side. Granted Walle is sweet because you exercise him daily and don't let him be pent.... But it's what the breed needs lol

Before quarantine, my boss would bring his GSP into the office. He would zip back and forth among our cubicles to say hello and play. Great pup! I miss him. I hope this ends soon so I can see my buddy again.

Another heartwarming Video....where do I start? Great cinematography and music selection. LOVED the shot of you kissing Walle's snout. Did you notice Walle's deep 'sigh' as he saw you coming in for the kiss? (time mark 0:16). That look on his face....oh God...here she comes again. You really do match the music to the mood in all your videos. Excellent choice here...and another excellent music example was Walle's HOLY COW video for his explosion of energy after the bath. Keep it up.

I could do a nail trim on my last beloved labby lab while he was standing up. Easiest nail clip ever. All from one side, just lift a paw (like you're about to clean out a horse's hoof with a hoof pick), then clip the nails. Ahhh. My now 6 month lab puppy? Squirmy. It's like a wrestling contest.

HaHa! My GSP, Allie, like Walle hates it. Allie needed shots, so I asked the vet tech to cut her nails. She screamed so loud, like she was in mortal pain. The tech said that I just needed to handle her paws more, like I never had! I was charged $25! I just burst out loud laughing!

Zazu is such a good dog. My black lab wasn’t that good for toe nail trimming. He would always pull his feet back but after a few minutes he knew it was going to happen no matter what . I’d feed him Cheetos when I did it to keep him happy ..
