- Walle our German Shorthaired Pointer developed a little wart on his snout, we have been monitoring it for about a month and we took him to do the vet to make sure it wasn't something to worry about. The vet confirmed it was a Canine Papillomas, they are commonly known as warts. Walle has never liked the vet since he has been there quiet a number of times

Our GSP, who is basically Wally's twin, just got over canine warts. He had 4...they just went away. It took about 2 months. We kept him away from other dogs because it is very contagious.
I just felt like comforting Walle. Zazu looks cool though, probably he knows he is there for moral support and not for treatment. Lol. He is intelligent.

Walle really isn't that bad at the vet. You keep his nose engaged & he does pretty good. That's cuz Mom & Dad are so good

Walle breaking his tooth on a rock! It's so Walle 😂. I'm glad the lump is benign. Daddy was a calming, reassuring presence in the vet's office. Zazu was concerned when Walle left the room. What sweeties they both are 😀👍🏼🐶🐶💕
So true! I almost laughed really loudly when they said the part about the rock but then felt bad about having a chuckle at his expense. At the same time, eating a rock is not easy from what I have heard from a friend who once decided to eat a small stone after he lost a competition! At any rate though Walle is a great dog and of course Zazu was a good brother to Walle in this vid too! :)

This is so ACCURATE. My similar looking GSP is just like yours when we visit the vet. First she's so curious and then turns to a whole different dog when she sees the vet hahah.

When I was fostering a GPS going to the vet was a real nuisance. The dog whined, drooled, hid, and refused to budge. Walle has much better behaved.

I just started crying when I heard Walle whines and whenever I watch your videos with the dogs at the vet, cause I remember my dog. He died a month ago. I am so fond of your dogs that I cant stop watching them despite me ending up crying sometimes.

Oh, my. This is just like the German Shorthair Pointer I fostered. He was a nervous wreck a the vet. Walle is also vocal...lol.
haha I know right. We had no idea GSPs are so vocal... at first we used to be embarrassed when we were out and Walle would complain lol but now he is much better.

oh walle... don't worry it will go soon. My dog had it too. The vet gave him a cream to apply on it . Still, it took time to go. Lots of love to walle and zazu😄💜💜💜

thank you for the sucess story of Wall E's growth tumor. We were not so fortunate with our WallE type pointer, Sarey, despite $7000 in treatments that we new would just give us all a little more time together, but painfree.

My GSP Lacey got a big cyst on her backside when she turned about 11 years old. The vet said it was benign so I left it alone. She started getting them more frequently as she got older. She made it to 3 weeks before her 16th birthday though, the vet said she had bad pneumonia and she was blind and stopped eating. This was one of the saddest days of my life and I still miss her to this day.I am glad Walle is okay and hopefully, he will not develop cysts with the natural diet you have your boys on.

I was actually at the vet today with my GWP, he has an urinary tract infection and was put on antibiotics.
He's 11.5 years old oy by now, so he actually has started be a bit calmer as of lately and he loves all humans very much so the visit was an overall success.
He had urinary stones before and I was afraid we were going to have to put him through surgery, but the x-rays didn't show any sign of stones so hopefully the antibiotics will be enough.
Thank god! Glad he is going to get better

Not sure what makes dogs so nervous about visits to the vet. Is it the needle pricks for vaccinations?? Or the body examinations from head to tail?? Or maybe all the odors of antiseptics and medicines, and occasional yelps from other dogs held captive in the background. Anyway, I'm glad Walle survived. LOL!!

My do Roscoe had one of those tumor bump things! He was a puppy. He's a GSD. He had surgery.

My gsp had a benign growth like that on her back as a puppy. Then in January of this year, she passed away from bone cancer in her jaw. She was 13 years old.
oh no I am so sorry! lots of hugs! Thankfully that growth fell of for Walle.

I have been watching your videos recently. Very much liked it. But just wondering - how do you guys manage your time? You guys go to job, take care of personal life, keeping the house, and most importantly raising two dogs, going to regular hikes with dogs, keep up with your (you and Abhi’s) hobbies like playing music, and a lot actually....when do you really get time to make these good videos (I know editing takes a lot of time) ?

My GSP girl has had 3 emergency vet visits... she had cut her flank while running with me at the park. Needed a drain and 15 stitches. Second ripped a nail off while running at park. Third punctured chest with corner of coffee table while playing with brother... ! All that running I guess she wasnt looking where she was going.
oh wow! that all sounds like it hurt baddd. Hope she doesnt have to go through anymore! Wish her good health and an accident free life :)

I grew up with dogs can’t have one now because of where l live. This is almost as good. The rest of the time l go visit the neighbour’s dogs.

We had Sparky the Dalamation when I was a young boy. My Dad would drive him to the forest preserve frequently and he would be all happy and excited, but every once in a while he would drive past the forest preserve and Sparky's tail would go between his legs and he would start crying, he knew he was going to the vet!

My dog hates the groomer more than the vet. You can see her contemplating a suicide run into the hwy when we roll up at the groomer. She doesn't like us leaving her, but we stay with her at the vet.

Aww walle 😍 this is what i worried about with my Labrador Lucius but he loves the vet even though they've given him so many injections and medicines and had to keep him overnight once because he had an allergic reaction and got severely dehydrated. But he loves the vet! They vets joke he is the only dog they know who wags his tail while getting a blood test 😂

Not me, the vet. They won’t take any appts stretching out to July now. Despite spending hundreds of dollars they have dropped me as a client. Total irrational fear I hope they go out of business and never recover.

Random question has Walle ever suffered with blocked anal gland’s (🤢sorry)
Only we have two GSP’s ages 1 and 2 and they both have to have help from the vets with that area, so I was just wondering if this is a common thing with this breed of dog.
Yessss!!! Walle had that issue once. We actually looked at UA-cam videos and learnt to expressed the glands ourselves. It had the worst smell ever!!! It took 2-3 days for him to normally poop. We feed him raw so we gave him a lot more fiber like pumpkin, broccoli, carrots. After that one time it hasn’t happened.
