AS VAL is S tier, but you have to play infantry focused points on conquest to get the most out of the gun. Ttk is mental and the reload asmr is nice too. Also never shoot at someone more than 20 meters away lol

For me, I LOVE the UMP 45 for two major reasons.
1. It’s B U L K Y
Shoots .45 ACP, which is considered by many to be Gods caliber of choice, so bonus points there.
2. It’s C H U N K Y
The slow fire rate makes it easier to control imo, and doing 30+ damage per shot is nothing to scoff at.

I didnt say too much about the Groza-4 so here's some info:
A solid 700rpm with very manageable recoil so the weapon performs pretty well at medium and close range, although if you come across an AEK don't expect to be winning the fight.
Fairly slow reload too, but a solid gun in most other departments. Good place to start for new players...
That's groza-1 bro, groza-4 has 700rpm and 27 damage, it is also unlocked at the start

Mpx is definitely deserves the s tier

Good range good fire rate
Good recoil
And I think people don’t include any more or use it because it’s hard to get now for the chain servers
MPX's bullet speed is at around 320 m/s though. For reference, the MP7 is 460 and carbines can be 500+.
Not great for 30+ yard fights but a high damage (24.5) and high firerate (850 rpm) gun with good hipfire. Arguably better than the PDW-R for the things the PDW-R excels at, esp if you rock the ergo/vertical on the MPX!
P90 is an AEK with a 60 round magazine, at the cost of range. As somebody who is always worried about ammo, P90 is my go-to.
Just recently started playing BF4 for the first time and these were helpful. Keep them coming!

I'm loving these videos! btw, the p90 is an absolute s class
UMP 9 is a weird PDW, as it's actually very good at medium to even long-ish range engagements. It has low recoil, a predictable pattern, and the highest accuracy among PDWs by a wide margin, making it an absolute beam of a gun. It's my go to for larger maps, which is convenient as that's typically where people play engineer.
But if you want longer range automatic gun as a engineer, why not just use the AK-5C or AKU-12?
Gotta say, my experiences with the PP 2000 and the CBJ-MS are inverted. For me, the PP 2000 does decent damage, but the CBJ doesn't do as much, but it does have more recoil, probably because I'm on console.

p90 in surprisingly good at range bc of its big mag size imo its s-tier, and the nail gun really isnt a-tier imo. agree with you on most other things. good job on covering 14 weapons in 5minutes

Back when the game came out I had over 2000 kills with the pp-2000. I thought it was the best gun ever lmao. This kinda broke my heart haha.

@@Shappy No worries lol, it is a pretty bad gun but as a newbie it was very attractive because it's the very second pdw you unlock and it was extremely easy to use. But I guess ease of use is not taken into account for the listing haha. Plus, don't waste ur time with this, you have more important things to do *(DMR tier list) cough cough*. Great video as always.

MPX is goated I finally got into a chain link game and unlocked it on my ps4 I had it on Xbox but bf4 slowed down so nobody played chainlink. So happy I got it again I’m doing 25-5 games now

Im new to the game but so far the cbj has been incredible. 50 rounds, high rpm, and good accuracy. Even at a distance the high ammo helps keep you shooting. Or my favorite moments are killing multiple people in a hallway. It does have low relative damage so positioning and timing are crucial

Those UMP 45 millimeter rounds have way too much recoil for me. 😁 Great video though. Sadly, I don't see some of these maps much because not enough people are still playing.

Cz 3a1 is my favorite because i have mastered the tap fire on console and can now take on people at mid range

P90 is probably my favorite one, has a huge mag, great fire rate, nice hipfire accuracy and comfortable recoil - usually enemy runs out of people before P90 runs out of ammo.
Also 5.7mm is based.
5.7 is the edgy kid with a katana collection: all hype, underperforms when it actually has to do anything.

Ump 9 has a very controllable recoil rate, and is excellent for tap firing accurately at longer ranges. One of the few PDWs you can run a 3.5 or 4 times optic on
AS Val is definetly S tier.
For some reason the sr-2 I always can tap fire shots well past 100 meters with ease but no other pdw can get even close to that accuracy. Also it’s recoil pattern is a head hunter 💀 I have so many headshot ribbons with it.
Honestly, the PDWs if you know how to use them their fun and effective mostly on locker and metro and some other maps

AS VAL and P90 simply S Tier. I usually use them, I've lost a little practice with the AS VAL but even at 30mts you can still destroy someone, you just have to learn to control that monstrous recoil.
Fun fact:the ump 45 fires the 45 acp round, not the 45 millimeter. I believe a 45 mil doesn't exist because if it did it would be an artillery cartridge, since 45 mil would be a gigantic round.
Damn I maxed out the PP-2000 lmao. I used it a lot on locker. I didn't like it at first then I started destroying with it.

Out of all the tier lists I have done, putting the ump in a lower tier was my biggest mistake rip. People love that gun ahahah

@@Shappy I'm still a relatively new player and I have not played with every single PDW out there so it's completely possible I've been handicapping myself with the UMP. For me its just a familiar comfort weapon that just works I dunno how good it is "objectively" so I'm gonna try out a few more PDWs from the list you made.

I agree with this list but i would put the Val and CZ scorpion in S tier because of their TTK. they're kings in maps like metro and locker.
p90 my favorite
PP2000 on e damn it's my contender with the mpx I get 5 man wipes with one mag fairly consistently. It's a more mid range pdw since it's slower firing but accurate

P90 is S tier. I would switch it’s spot on the tier list with the PDWR because they’re basically the same gun except the P90 has a 51 round mag. UMP 45 is B tier because of its accuracy at range. It behaves a lot like a carbine.

I like the ump 45 but thats because I have so many fucking hours on this game that recoil is the least of my worries. I think I'd put it higher.
I'm very infrequently using pdws as they would fit much better for the medic class imo. The ones I do use though are the high damage ones as I think high damage and 700 or above rpm is the only thing that will beat out a surperior assault rifle like the aek in close range. The pdws with a 5 shot kill feel really flimsy when fighting stuff like aeks. Hence my favourite pdws are the mpx and the as Val or ump for bigger maps when cqb isn't as important. For experienced players the Val is absolutely fucking disgusting for playing really fast in close range. Say a locker or metro flank or a objective defense where you can pick people off one by one

AS VAL is easily s tier, its comparable the ACW-R in the way it performs. I guess every gun that is classed as A or S by most people just come down to personal preference.

You put ump 45 that low on the tier list, damage makes up for the rate of fire, killing groups at medium range is very easy in my opinion
Theres no reason the AS Val shouldnt be a carbine. The only reason it was a PDW in BF3 was so it could be an all class weapon. Now that carbines were the all class weapon, BF4 shouldve moved it accordingly

Just saying, ranking the UMP 9 above the UMP45 is heresy. The UMP 9 might just be the second worst PDW, only beating the PP2000. It’s got 700 rpm, with the damage model of most of the other PDWs, so it has an awful TTK. It also doesn’t have the redeeming stats of the CBJ-MS, so the CBJ beats it too.
Also, good to keep in mind that the ASVALs suppressor also functions as a heavy barrel. :)
UMP9 is accurate, has good muzzle velocity, and a quick reload. It’s a good choice if you want to use a PDW on larger maps

you can't disrespect the AS VAL like this, best gun in the game, I can get more kills with that than most of the AEK sweats on locker, but it does suck balls at medium to long range
