Fun fact: The AUG A3 was originally removed from Battlefield Hardline, but was later re-added in the Betrayal update.
It's really good at medium-long ranges and has little recoil. AND it's a bullup gun so you can strafe more. Good niche gun I'd say. Im PC player btw.

Hardline best bf, nobody can say otherwise. Great soundtrack, good campaign, great weapon balance, great vehicle balance, great gun/vehicle play, amazing maps. Theres nothing bad, it even has great customization and progression

This particular battlefield is hands down in my top 3 favorite fps of all time . This game has aged so beautifully and it’s so amazing to see so many players still active . Such a beautiful game
I just downloaded it again yesterday and was very pleased to see there were still a ton of active servers, even very late at night. One of my favourite FPS games as well
As a life long cod fan who was super disappointed with mw3 I decided to try this game out, I’ve only ever played BF1 before this, and I’ve gotta say bf4 is quickly becoming one of my favorite games ever

I disagree about the FAMAS placement. If you put it on burst fire, it increases the RPM by 150, and will almost entirely neutralize the recoil. You can get m4 type recoil if you slap a compensator and a stubby grip on it. Def try it with burst fire mode. Easily A or S tier

@@Shappyfailed to mention that the L85 is a direct upgrade when compared to the AEK, only slower reload. God weapon when you use it correctly.
f2000 and famas should be top tier. F2000 has a fast fire rate while having good recoil and spread, overall rly underrated weapon and the famas is pretty much the highest dps assault rifle in the game and it can shred anyone from far away if you utilize burst mode

The M16A4 is really good at long ranges. It's like a DMR in disguise

I like the AN94, my go to AR for most maps. Good for mid to long range, a gamble at close. Drops bodies fast if you can hit your shots and time your bursts. (Also can "jam" so spam clicking wont do)

honestly even at close range I find it very effective. As long as you know how to hip fire accurately, you can kill super fast with 2 sprays

The Aug and L85 have kinda a special trait. You can move faster while ADS. I'm not sure about the other bullpups because I only use those 2. But having that little advantage makes using those guns feel so good.
QBZ is an absolute weapon. I got a ridiculous amount of kills with that thing. It's the accuracy I think. I use it on the metro/locker/peaks maps all the time as well as the long range ones. It's a fantastic gun. A/B for me
It’s funny how consoles are different from PC. I think on PC I wouldn’t send any AR lower then C.
On PC:
S - AEK, ACE, M416, M16, AK, SCAR-H, L85, AUG, AR
Everything else between A and B, Famas and Bulldog might be C actually due to limited usage.
Hey definitely agree, PC is a whole different landscape.
With the ranking, I try to keep all the weapons in the class relative to each other, rather than other weapon classes. Otherwise, your exactly right, most ARs would be S or A tier 🤣

AR are so good overall that personally I wouldn't rank any lower than B, actually to make a proper tier list I would have to split the tiers into S+, S, A+ and A. On assault class there is no point in running anything than ARs other than maybe 870 MCS on locker TDM lol
for long range I usually pick the AN-94 or SAR-21, mid range CZ805 or ACE23 and on Locker, of course the AEK or the SCAR

Battlefield 3 was originally intended to have the burst-fire M16A4 only, but I believe some vocal alpha testers weren't a fan of it. So, DICE then added the fully automatic "M16A3" later. (I use the name lightly since a proper M16A3 would have had its own model based on the A2 upper receiver.) This is probably why DICE stuck with the M16A4 in Battlefield 4. It was the original vision DICE had for the weapon.
Not to mention that it's the more proper standard issue model

I am pretty satisfied with the tier list overall, but I would personally put bulldog in tier A instead of tier S as I see bulldog as the inferior version of SCAR. Bulldog is definitely overkilling in terms of damage but the longer reload time did hurt its ability in intense fights and enlarge the downside of its small magazine. On the other hand, FAMAS should deserve more credits, indeed AEK is better overall but as the highest RPM rifle in the game, FAMAS can deal great damage in close quarter and surpass those using AEK, not to mention the burst fire mode makes it more controllable, it should deserve a C tier at least.
The l85 is easily one of my favorites due to the accuracy and first shot recoil and fast bullet velocity. To me it just feels like a more accurate m416 with a worse reload time.
I've always loved using the L85 ever since bf3 so it's high up there for me. But you're right it's pretty much the m416 and the fast reload is too good to pass up sometimes 👍
It's also slightly better (for me) in extreme CQB.
You know, the one when you get smoke rushed and have to fire point blank. The bullpup hipfire bonus does wonders in such scenarios, L85 ends up saving my ass more often even despite the reload time
@@Shappy another thing the L85 has on the m416 is a faster strafe speed. So you get better first shot recoil, better strafe speed, minus the recoil speed. Overall a contender for sure.
the bullpup weapons give you better spread while moving like if you were aiming down sights and strafing, I would put the l85 in a and ar160 in b but either way great video
You should research the irl an-94, I think they nailed the Burst mode feel in the game
Acctually AK-12 have higher fire rate at burst mode which at good recoil control makes this gun very accurate so dont forgot about those

this popped up in my recommended and oh man this brought back memories. i used the sar for so long when i first started. i had over 15k kills with this thing before i fell into the deep evil cluthes of the aek
m16a4 should really be at the A tier once you understand the burst mechanics and how it can jam. But once you get that down you're left with a 800 goldilocks RPM rifle with the fastest reload time in the game.
I’m a whore for burst fire, so I honestly would throw it in S tier. It’s easily top 3 for me.
M16 jumps too much for me at longer range. The burst lifts the sights way above the target. But i still play with it every now and then just bc i like to play with guns that are common in the usa.
I wish these games would stop having the m4 be a beginner eh gun with crazy recoil. They are super good irl and don't have as much recoil as a lot of other rifles.
To go even further. I wish bf made putting ur gun in single shot actually worth it without playing on a hardcore server.
That's something i miss about bf3. Single shot on ur assault rifle was actually viable.

I like M16A4 a bit more than AEK-971 because it's great for all shooting distances especially when your enemy is too far from you like 70m and higher .

Yea I’ve been using the m16 And I’ve been shredding fuckers close and far. Very versatile, just gotta get used to not spraying and it’s got very good hip fire!!
Really for me the m16A4 is one of my best guns especially with grenade launcher/under barrel. The no recoil, fast reload, and the speed it has got me an 63-8 game once and I see other people dominate with it too. But the rest of the list was pretty accurate IMO.

I used to be a rusher player who used the aek 971 but it bored me to use it, so I wanted to look for another weapon that resembled it and I chose the f2000 for its rate of fire and easier control of the recoil, the bad thing is that I got used to it He recharges it and looks at it but eventually gets the hang of it. If I made a personal list the f2000 would put it in the tier next to the scar, m416, ace 23 and aek
I definitely could have put the f200 higher on the list. Just haven't used it that much. Definitely a fun gun to use
yeah f2000 is a really good alternative to aek, especially if you need something for longer ranges

Good list. Interesting that I would actually put the L85 at top of S and probably put the M416 in A or B tier due to it's high first shot recoil. L85 has low enough horizontal recoil to run HBar and bc it is a bullpup performs better in cqc than weapons like the Ace23 even tho it has a higher rpm. It also has faster ADS movement for the same reason. F2000 though is just a high rpm beam, maybe even S tier quality. I've been playing a lot with it recently and in the majority of situations it's better than the AEK.

This vid is for very average place if ur good at this game u would figure out that just about every gun on this game is good in its own way if ur good at picking people off or simply good at running and gunning and timing headshot placement. I’ve gottin 12 peace’s within 45 secs to a min and a half on metro with avoided guns for that map like the qbz ak12 sar21 etc. and don’t get me started on all the lmgs they all have there advantages. Ps I can tell ur a beast because u love burst weapons my most used is m16
@@malikscott3508 Burst weapons are my number one primary’s in any FPS game. You’ll hardly ever see me using full auto anything. The quick two-round burst of the AN-94 for instance makes the weapon extraordinarily accurate whilst also conserving ammunition instead of firing full auto and turning the rifle into a bullet hose. I’d still recommend the M16A4 over the AN-94 for it’s higher bullet velocity though. That and it’s just a classic I mean, c’mon.

AUG A3 is in fact something special. An underlooked stat- bullet velocity. It has one of the highest of any automatic in the game. Even at close range you can feel this slight advantage, and it means you never need to lead targets at range. It's still probably b or a tier, but I'm baffled you didn't mention that stat. I'm also glad you recognize how good the AR-160 is :)
It also means an slight edge in lag
Personally i think the aug is the best rifle for mid to long range on console bc there is very little recoil.
I didn't use it for years and once i did i felt dumb never giving it a go.
Sleeping on the CZ-805 ngl. That thing hits like a truck with super easy to manage recoil and basically no bullet spread. It also is one of few ARs that doesn't feel like it is affected by the downsides of the suppressor that much which is a huge upside if you're into that. Definitely isn't the best AR but for me it's easily A tier. Only time it really gets out gunned is by close range machines but even then the TTK on the CZ is pretty competitive since it is such an accurate weapon so unless your enemy barrel stuffs you or has great aim you have a good fighting chance.
My favorites are the BullDog ( 2600 Kills ) , Scar-H ( 1000) and M416 ( 1500 ). I have mastery for the AEK, Famas, AN-94, Aug. But those 3 just do something for me.

Agree with everything except the m16. Has always been one of most effective choices for me on every map except the smallest and think it has flown under the radar because its a burst. Great for all ranges except right in your face.
Bulldog is my favorite all-around assault weapon. It hits like a truck and reloads pretty quick.

Absolute beast in its space-magic-mode, even in mid- to long-range situations.
Definitely S-tier in my opinion.

f2000 => s tier. My weapon of choice is ACE23, but when I switch to f2000 I feel like it could be even a bit better because it shoots faster and reloads feel faster
m16 is super good at range and is highly accurate with the right attachments like angled grip and heavy barrel
Angled grip over stubby grip? Sorry, i dont understand the need for angled grip in m16a4 because there's no "first shot recoil" .I use stubby for non cqb maps and vertical grip on cqb maps.

Ak-12 is very good for further distances. Recommend an angled grip for the range and laser for hip
Famas is basicly AEK but balanced. After mastering all AR's i definitly like AN-94 the most, it burst fire can easily take out DMR's users and compete with Snipers even.
M16 is legit very good. Burst fire is great as u can have a very fast auto while also switching extremely quickly to burst fire.
What i learned is you need something thats accurate, stability is a bonus, accuracy is all that matters, and fire rate, damage for most guns across the board is the same. Try every gun out see whats best. The m416 is the best contender in the ar group, until you get the ace 52. You cant rup up close unless you push through smokes, so anything over 800rpm cant stay on target well enough from mid to long range.
F2000, L85A2 and AN94 are my favourite assault guns ever.
Sar 21 also has a speedy reload. Especially compared to other bullpups.

my favorite thing to do in this game is just killing the AEK sweats in hardcore with the VAL since ammo isn't a problem for me since i have reload after firing one shot syndrome

The L85 is definitely A tier. Imo it doesn’t make any sense to put it with the SAR21 and F2000
In regards to the L85A2 vs M416 comparison, I would take slower reload speed over slower ADS strafe speed and lower hipfire accuracy any day. A2 is bae.
i myself playing 4k hours on locker, few things he didn't mention that's why the tier quite bad:
- Each weapon behave differently depends on server latency and framerate, like scar-h on blank point headshot it does one hit kill same as famas rpm that so fast it feels getting one shotted on 2 digits ping servers.
- Mobility, the bullpup (front trigger) makes you strafe fast just like pdw, that's why famas and/or f2000 were banned on comp because outshine time-to-kill aek or scar-h and in terms giving advance in mobility.
- Spread pattern, the best is ak-12 the spread and vertical recoil sum up balance in assault riffle. The worst spread is bulldog even putting heavy barrel and stubby grip the 3rd bullet and so on goes nowhere.
- Relying on level dataspread are just data, in real gameplay you mix weapon with some attachment they become different weapon. Look an-94 burts action with heavy barrel.
- Range, most assault riffle purposes close and medium range, m16a4 it should be top tier because it's crazy accurate and for long range.
Despite fully auto like aek, for me best weapon with burst gameplay are: famas (close range) scarh (medium).
-My personal top tier for aggressive gameplay are: famas, scarh, aek, m416, m16a4 and f2000.

i personally think the bulldog shouldn’t be s tier just because if u think ab it the reload time doesnt compare to the scar h. and the recoil is kinda wonky atleast on console. my top 5 would be the SCAR, M16, ACE, F2000, M416. and on a side note, i def recommend trying m16 with reflex and stubby only. if you can practice the burst it becomes a lazer beam even at long range.

For some reason I can't use anything as a main weapon, besides FAMAS, so it's an S for me. Of course situationally I use AUG/Bulldog/SAR and F2000 (my second main) for open air/long distance maps. But using them as a main weapons just doesn't work for me (I really tried). Yes, FAMAS has an enormous up time and reload time and it's better in short distances, for me, at least, but I still manage to get K/D over 4.0 sometimes, while every other weapon gives me 2.0 at max..
I’d honestly put the AUG in A tier, maybe S tier. It’s 700rpm isn’t that bad in most situations, it’s recoil is medium, and it’s got decent damage. Throw a heavy barrel and a stubby grip on there with a red dot and you’re ready to compete with all the AEK bunny hopping sweats on Operation Locker*
*DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIGHT THE AEK ON LOCKER AT CLOSE RANGE, ONLY MEDIUM OR LONG RANGE TO FUCK WITH THE AEK’S SHITTY SPREAD
Qbz was done dirty this video. It has great hip fire, as well as almost no recoil. I think it’s the Sar 21 but better

QBZ is the Chinese Pinyin capital letter abbreviation,which means guns rifles automatic
ak 12 could easily go to A. with the burst selected its a laser like the AN-94.
the AN94 in burst mode is much faster, than the AK-12 plus the AN94 is much more accurate.
L85a2 has to be a tier

The M16A4 is my ultimate S tier assualt rifle. If you time the bursts right it will melt people at very long range and is very accurate from the hip at CQC engagements. I have a soft spot for ut not only because I was issued one in the Corps, but it's also extremely versitile in BF4. The recoil in game and in real life is very controllable.

The only thing is disagree with is the m16, it is burst but you can just spam the trigger and make it fully auto, because its burst it dosent get a full auto penalty, making it one of the fastest killing and acurate gun in the game, i took out many people that had me dead to rights
Flip bulldog and 416. Flip aek and an94. Also m16a4 is SS once you figure it out. I like burst and once you've got it almost is FA
The AN 94 was so OP in BF3 that it beat the AEK, M16 and F2000 in every single made mode If the player was a master otherwise it was so goofy seeing them die because they couldn’t keep up with the rpm of the other weapons

The l85 is statistically the best assault rifle and the m16a4 is the a3 with less recoil so if you manage to time the burst it's the same weapon.
Not really the case with the M16: the first shot recoil multiplier gets applied during every burst so you have to contend with that if you're spamming it.
@@andreivaldez2929 it's applied in every burst like in the rest ar but in the a4 the multiplier is on the last bullet of every burst. If you tap fire with the scar or 416 every burst have the multiplier but in the first shot.
The A3 works like the 416 or every other automatic weapon in bf3 and 4
I disagree with the M16 ranking. It's the best assault rifle in the game when you learn how to use it.
The issue with the 416 is that the ace 23 is just a better gun in all aspects basically. I'm saying this as someone who has thousands of kills with my 416. Besides the scar it's my most used AR.
Ak12 is S tier for me. The recoil is perfect for bouncing headshots

As an ex-oplocker whore, the FAMAS is GOD with the right attachments, it kills faster than the aek, but the reload is a bitch. I used to play the FAMAS when I had bad hittreg (cuz high fire rate) and/or when against many shotgun players.
As a gadget, I tended to use the semi-auto shotgun with it, plus the g18 (to compensate for the long reload times).
Though, my normal loadout would be AEK + smoke launcher and g18.
