There's always accidents. I think most of them boil down to either not riding often enough, bad drivers around us, or riding above one's comfort/skill level. The first and third ones are prevalent early in the season after people put their bikes away for several months. Funny, I've been thinking about this a lot lately... there's a reason I ride slow and pay a lot of attention to the road conditions and the traffic around me - I think it keeps me safer. I have people in my life who caution me, but they never lecture, and they send their well-wishes. Ride safe!
Yes seat time makes a big difference on freshing up our riding skills along with riding within our limits. I agree, most mistakes are made riding beyond our limits or not having enough seat time to set in that muscle memory. 🙂🏍️👍
All the time brother! Everytime there is a motorcycle wreck on the news I try to change the channel before the Misses hears it. It’s quickly becoming a part of me I can’t do without.
I agree, unfortunately we can’t get away from seeing or hearing about those news stories. All we can do is our best to use our riding skills to stay safe out there. 🏍️👍
Ya that kinda talk is so common among people who don’t ride! I always compare it to driving a car, skiing, mountain climbing haha so many other dangerous sports!! We do it because we enjoy it!!! Good conversation Nick!
Everyone tells me that motorcycles are dangerous. I tell them that God put me on earth to live life, and I’m going to use every ounce of what this old body has left in it. Been riding since 1976 and I’m not stopping now. 😎👍👍
There are inherent risk in everything you do. Riding a motorcycle is no different but so is walking down the street at night. Gotta live life but be aware of the consequences.
Some of the worthwhile things in life have a higher risk vs. reward. Good discussion, Nick!
Absolutely! Thank you Eric 🙂🏍️👍

Yes, totally agree, riding our bikes is enjoyable and some just don’t get it. Thanks for stopping by Gloria 🙂🏍️👍

Being able to ride brings out the best in life for a lot of us. Something we don’t want to easily give up 🙂🏍️👍
Riding can be dangerous. If we are committed to paying attention fully, and constantly, will mitigate most of the risks.
Very true 🙂🏍️👍
I think part of why we do this is because it’s not something everyone can, or will do….
Very good point, it’s not for everyone. 🙂🏍️👍
Hello Nick, it is hard to comment to all. You’re doing a great job. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓
Thank you NonnaGrace. Yes I try and do my best, thanks for stopping by 🙂👍

Good point, when you really start living it gets more risky. 🙂🏍️👍
they are no more dangerous than taking a shower .. look it up .. the number of people hurt taking showers vs motorcycle injuries
True! I’ve always heard the bathroom is typically were most people get injured
Hey Nick. My wife wants me to get a 3 wheeler.
Hey Larry, thanks for stopping by. Three wheels definitely feels different coming off two wheels. 🙂🏍️👍
👍
Thanks for stopping by Roy 🙂🏍️👍
I do not have anyone trying to talk me out of riding, except all these UA-camrs taking my riding time to post comments... hehe j/k
Lol 😂 🤣
They are only dangerous if you crash. Other than that they are perfectly safe
Makes logical sense 🏍️👍
