I really enjoy this format even though I never see it live. It’s relaxing to watch/listen to. I appreciate your knowledge and attitude towards fish keeping. Thank you.
4:32 HI C! I’m finally commenting on your splendid channel. I want to tell you how mentally enriching your content is I hope you are appreciated for all of the knowledge you are so generous with. Good show mate, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!
Watched the replay great as always I’m so glad you have stepped back and are enjoying what you love. My fish are my relaxing part of my day and I love interacting with my them. I hope you and yours have a Happy Thanksgiving hopefully I’ll be able to join the live 🤞
Thanks for all you do for the hobby. Tank behind you is looking stellar. Really want a coop ornament but can’t order just yet. Maybe I’ll find a way to turn my membership coins into ornaments 🎄 No ads on replay and I am so happy 🎉
Aw Cory! I Almost bought the sinking airstones this week- except I still have a couple pumice airstones- and I’m trying to reign myself in! But I am using your nano sponge filter in my blackworm tank and it was a cinch to set up for shallow water, plus it is a lot quieter than the filter I had been using :^)
No problem. I am on board with people only buying what they need and reigning it in. I appreciate the support and we'll have air stones when you need em in the future ;)
When is a large pellet coming...? That's how I prefer to feed all my live bearers...! Hikari Cichlid Floating and sinking Gold, LARGE size pellet, is one of my staples because they can pick at it for hours and won't settle between the substrate rocks...! Even my week old corydoras and Bushynose get large pellets...!!! Thanks for sharing... Keep up your awesomeness and go enjoy some nature today...! Also, don't forget to compliment someone today... It just may change their day for the better...!
I can comment on the Co Op and its return/replacement policy. Years ago I purchased root tabs. When I received them some of them appeared damaged (later with Candi’s insight melted). Yes melted, you see the same order had live plants and with the plants heat packs. I like to think I made them aware of a possible problem. Anyways I counted the melted ones and asked for replacement. The Co Op team sent me a new container. No charge. That is how it should work. And as always. Shipping was fast on the replacement
I sometimes think the start of the hobby was the best, ignorance was bliss. All the weird and wonderful fish I kept in one aquarium, I just dont think i could do it now.
Thanks for that rainbird solenoid valve tip! Told my plumber to install it sideways ! I think thats how i understood your comment Ill be posting pictures wednesday on the thread! Thanks cory!
How about feeding adult Medaka rice fish? Would the Community floating fish food would work or should I stick to the nano magic fish food? Much Mahalo’s 🌴🤙
I've never heard any other podcast channel qualify what questions a person should ask. It was clearly spoken that it is preferred that one asks more "thought provoking" questions. This could intimidate beginners in the hobby who tunes in here.
It surely could, won't know until we try. Whose to say that someone who is a beginner won't have great questions? I know I experience it where a child asks me to explain something. Explaining it in a way they understand is different and often times can open my mind. Their not having an opinion and innocence can bring fresh perspective. I'm hoping it opens some people up to ask a good question who is maybe not technical. The person who asks what micron different species of brineshrimp eggs are is different than the person who is asking what can they keep with their pea puffer. Who is different from the person asking what fish do well in a school classroom with 6 year olds. Who is different than someone trying to breed african cichlids. Someone new might not want to ask a question that is technical and possibly look dumb. However they could ask something like "what do you typically see as the biggest hobby unlock for new aquarists in their second year?" They don't have to have the knowledge in any specific area to participate. Surely we will see how this plays out and make adjustments.
Hey i was thinking of getting the Nano feed for my fish. I was just curious at the end of the ingredients it lists antioxidants. Just kind of curious if you knew specifically which ones were being used. Thanks!
I struggle w “ how much food” for my 15 chili rasboras. They love the Magic Nano and honestly have colored up dramatically after 10 days only!! So I feed about 1/3 of one of those little tiny spoons that would hold like a small green pea. 2-3 times daily. Does this sound right? 10 g
Gotta say, I’ve seen LOTS of examples of schooling fish being more comfortable, healthier, and more fecund in large groups. But Corey has to be a contrarian or he’s not Corey.

Business, too...!
Agreed. It's the perfect to have playing in the background while working in the fish room.

I love your small tank section... the internet is soo mean to others about smaller tanks.

I really want to thank Cory, for taking out those annoying UA-cam ads.

Oh, my husband got his new bambu printer 10 days ago. He already printed me a cpd egg collector.❤

Black khuli loaches are very active for me when kept in at least groups of 3. Anything under 3 in my experience you won’t see them as much!
Tested my water, both tanks, before I watched this, I'm ahead of the curve for a brief moment.🙂
Thanks for that rainbird solenoid valve tip! Told my plumber to install it sideways !

While they could do either. I'd probably feed the magic feed as they have pretty small mouthes.
Nice
I feel like Corey would be the perfect guest speaker at a TED talk.

@@AquariumCoop Guess if you're not coming from a judgmental place it should head in the right direction.
I had a power cut here in Kent, England yesterday due to storm Bert!
Wow, that’s unlucky. I’m really sorry. I’m 56 and can only remember having one power cut. I think that was back in the 70s. From Brum

IS this the rosy barb in the Background?
I have Rosy barbs and golden barns in the tank. But all the red ones are the rosy barbs.
More and more people are buying them because they have learned that they're the best! (BBShrimp)
Darn it missed live
Well, you get an other chance on thanksgiving ;)
@@AquariumCoopgood talk, Cory 😃

Hard to say, does it look like most of it is being eaten? If so sounds ok so far.
So much better than KMA
