I really admire you young man. It was a dream of mine in the 1980s to open a shop for aquarists and breed stock for sale, but life for me took another direction. In many ways I live my passion through watching your videos. Thank you, and I wish you continued success.
I've kept fish -- here in the U.S. -- ever since I was 10 and am 72 now. Keep at it, Nick! Your love for fish (and shrimp) is awesome! It's a wonderful, magical hobby!
I've been an infrequent viewer of your channel over the years, and enjoyed your journey. Seeing where you started, where you are, and where you are going is really inspiring. Keep following your passion.
Stunning ,,, you have become an absolute credit to the history of keeping fish , the whole world over .. From 5 aquarium's at home and then to this ,, what a fantastic journey . You do it right . with the right vibe . Thank you ,, all the best from the UK ... Roland
for anyone curious, bloodworms, other than being a major allergen, are known to cause major and deadly bloating in African dwarf frogs due to parasite load and bacteria load. It was known to be a problem associated with bloodworms sourced from north american, specifically red larvae midge flies. Might be related to the bloating cause in the rams that he mentioned around 32:20.
I really regret not getting into what you’re doing at your age. You might not have nearly a full idea of what a rare treat that must be! Please don’t ever lose sight of that. Thanks for all these great vids too. 🙂👍
I am so happy for you. I have been watching you since you basically started on UA-cam... I wish I lived close by you so I could spend the whole day just looking at all your tanks...
Always love your content! Your fish are such great quality, if I didn't live in the US I'd be buying like crazy. You've become one of my favorite UA-camrs ❤
I stopped my hobby around covid, but your shop inspires me to get back into it! But also be mindful about it. Love your content, would love to buy from you when I have things set up
You're shop and breeding facilities are so cool, it must be very interesting and fun to breed so much fish and watch the fry grow. You're such an inspiration to me Nick.😊😊
Bought some Bug Buffet last week, Delivery down to Sydney was super quick! Communication with the status of the order was exceptional and most importantly....my fish love it. Thanks
I'm less than 15 min in to watching and like, oh ya, I remember your old videos on the zebra plecos! And oh ya, I remember replying to my fellow US commenters about how expensive pea puffers are down there! It's awesome to hear you talk about older videos and think, ohh, I was there! I watched that when it first came out! I think you may have cornered the Australian Cory cat market!! 😅 Those pseudomagills are absolutely stunning! All the varieties you have! I'm working on a (larger for me, I usually stick to nano) 29gallon Killi and hopefully pseudomugil community and breeding tank with my son. We're thinking blue fin Killis and some form of Blue eyes. Just too bad I'm not down in Oz to be able to get some of your snow white blue eyes!! Thanks as always for sharing your fish keeping adventures with us!! 🙏💙✌️😮
From the 1st time watching the ch. , maybe 4 years coming up? I've been more than impressed by how much you have going for you. If anyone asks me who's the most popular fish tuber or what the Best channel on UA-cam? I have been asked both of them and I have always said the same 2 channels , ADA View & Keeping Fish Simple !!! If I am looking for Inspiring Aquascaping ADA is the only channel and when I am looking for motivation for maintenance or getting a tank ready for the next breeding project I watch MULMUNG your channel or Lowell's Fish Lab ,
This was an awesome video please show more videos on your breeding programs and updates on the grow outs. I didn't watch it all at one time because of my schedule but I have already watched this one twice thanks for taking the time to do this one.
Great video…. Coffee is everything… that Jason drinks a lot of it… shows he a smart guy… I grew up on Cuban coffee… basically thick expresso style with and insane amount of sugar ..
A baby brine shrimp hatchery next to the coffee station! I trust that works out for you? 😉 I also hatch mine in the kitchen next to a coffee machine. 😊
I've been breeding fishi for 15 years now and your videos have helped me so many times when I didn't know what to do.thanks for that :) Seeing how much love you put into your breeding is really nice to see. :) Greetings from Germany. Ps. We need BUG-BUFFET in Germany too that would be cool. :) :)
Good job Nick. Really enjoy your fish room video! Just a suggestion... since you were not successful with breeding discus in the old garage may be you want to give that another go. Keep up the good work
🤘🏼solid work! Showing off your fish or your food is the same thing to me. Both functions of your hard work, which you have reason to be proud of. Keep it up!
This video has been great for mine and the wife’s new drinking game, you have to take a drink everytime Nick says bug buffet, safe to say we got hammered 😂😂
what an entrepreneur! Impressive set up and business sense. So jealous of your setup. I do agree with your ethic about wild caught - that's just cruel. I always buy tank bred. Not many videos hold my attention without skipping for almost 2 hours . Weee corys!. love it
Awesome to see the inner workings! Have you though about hanging the mops in the cory tanks so they don't collect as much detritus? Saw someone a while back that just made little hangers out of scrap PVC pipe
I really think you just have to get lucky. I’ve had two bettas and they were fine with a pretty wide variety of creatures. Between the two they were with - Snails - Shrimp - Kuhli Loaches - Chili Rasboras - Habrosus Cories - Ember Tetras All these with no issues, but I’m always wary to try again just because it’s tough to tell for sure how they’ll react.
Since you already realize leaving the mülk in there is beneficial, i recommend adding some dry hay straw in a few test tanks. The carbon:nitrogen ratio in straw is such that it generates fulvic and humid acids and also generate peroxides in the water, which have a whole array or chain effects. Check it out
Zebras are notoriously the most difficult to breed. They typically don’t start breeding until they are older (2-5 yrs) and more mature. The males have more prominent odontodes on their pectorals and body. 😊
OptiFlow on the zebra pleco tank it will help with the breading it helped me a lot when I tried breading and was having trouble and I would advise if you noticed them breeding take the eggs I can’t remember if it’s a male or female that eats them good luck my friend great job
About the luminatas and why not more people have them: I've made sure we have them in my pet store and talking to everyone about them :D I'm also going to buy them myself very soon. So much looking forward to that. They're fantastic!
Nice tour mate. What we'd all give to have even a fraction of those tanks to experiment with. I'll be in soon to take advantage of some of the great prices. Do you have any plans to open the shop any other days?
Great to see where you got to now from the videos at home to first fish room to now. Shame about the L046 and are you sure they are all males send us some pics we can look into it for you? I have some myself growing at the moment. Shame I'm not in Australia or would come to see you guys.
Love your videos and i have learned so much from them. I have started breeding and have had a lot of luck because of you. My friend and i are planning on opening our own fish store in the next 5-6 years. any tips you have for building stands or your water setup, i would love to hear. thank you for being an inspiration and teacher.
That zebra pleco comment was really relatable lol was about to spend a bunch on a group but instead am breeding my way up to hopefully get them for -free- well not out of pocket money haha Currently on phase 02 with my L201s started with bristles which afforded me these! Depending how they go maybe Zebras next
Please do a pseudomoguil episode, really want to know more. Didn't realise those cuties were native. I did environmental science at uni for a bit and ever since I found out about them I wanna know more. Honey Blue Eyes are gorgeous and I'm glad they changed the rules, I'll have to save up for a pair 😊

"I dont have time to show the front of the store" proceeds to show instant coffee tutorial 😂 awesome setup though bro.
😂😂😂 exactly
Hey man don't feel bad because of talking much about your new product! You can be proud of it and bringing it into the world! Wish you all the best!
I've kept fish -- here in the U.S. -- ever since I was 10 and am 72 now. Keep at it, Nick! Your love for fish (and shrimp) is awesome! It's a wonderful, magical hobby!

Love seeing how your fish room and shop are going! Certainly an inspiration for all of us hoping to set up a breeding room one day as well ☺
Stunning ,,,

Your love of your fish is fantastic and YOUR BUG BUFFET food is amazing my pacific blue eyes go absolutely nuts over it THANKS
Thanks for the info on banana leaves - I had no idea. With two sources of pesticide-free banana leaves looks like I'll be learning how to dry them.
I love these long vids. I enjoy just hearing you banter about fish
You are living the dream. Wish you the best for you and your family 😊. Never stop doing what your are doing
We (the fish & I) appreciate you and your video tutorials, thanks so much!! Have a blessed holiday season....hugs suzanne

Beautiful fish room mate! I love your long form fish room tour videos!
I stopped my hobby around covid, but your shop inspires me to get back into it! But also be mindful about it. Love your content, would love to buy from you when I have things set up
This library of knowledge will serve my future descendant fishkeepers very well

Man! Thanks for sharing such beautiful place. Congratulations! Two hours very well spent.
The furcatus! A miracle of nature.
Your fish room is stunning, every time I see it it makes me want all kinds of new and beautiful fish!

Great video…. Coffee is everything… that Jason drinks a lot of it… shows he a smart guy…
I grew up on Cuban coffee… basically thick expresso style with and insane amount of sugar ..
Given your young years, your accomplishments are impressive to say the least !
I believe that you'll breed any species you set your mind on 😉👍
A baby brine shrimp hatchery next to the coffee station! I trust that works out for you? 😉

Waiting for the Bichir video.
Great video by the way.
Love from Myanmar.
I love long fish tour videos. Greetings from Croatia Nick
Croatia is beautiful, the most stunning country I’ve ever been to
Great job, continuing success. I just started breeding Angels and Black rams, l have learned a ton watching your videos, thank you from California!
🤘🏼solid work! Showing off your fish or your food is the same thing to me. Both functions of your hard work, which you have reason to be proud of. Keep it up!
THIS WAS AWESOME!!! If you don’t already, you should get some PANDA GARRA to breed! They are LOADS of fun. 🤙🏼💯
Good work mate, I'm going to drive up the coast to come see you one lazy Saturday and buy lots of your stuff I reckon
Drinking game challenge! Every time he says: "They love bug buffet..", you know what to do. Good luck 🤣
🤣dude me and my girl we’re just dying each time hed find a way to bring up “bug buffet” in ever other scentence
😂
@@Official_Zim glad to hear that 👍🤣
Would love to know how you are managing to power this set up?
A nice big solor system to keep costs down?!
Great footage, particularly of the shrimp. Learnt something new about the banana leaves. Thanks for sharing.
This video has been great for mine and the wife’s new drinking game, you have to take a drink everytime Nick says bug buffet, safe to say we got hammered 😂😂
Hey nick, I’ve been watching for about 3 years now, glad to see how far you’ve made it.
Legend!
I really like the idea behind your food product.. It can feed all round for all of fish wether adult or baby fish..
I want to fly from Sweden to Brisbane just yo visit your store 😍
Been waiting about 10 hours to watch the rest 🤣❤️
what an entrepreneur! Impressive set up and business sense. So jealous of your setup. I do agree with your ethic about wild caught - that's just cruel. I always buy tank bred. Not many videos hold my attention without skipping for almost 2 hours . Weee corys!. love it
My favorite part is that the coffee pot is next to the brine shrimp
Appreciate your enthusiasm on aquariums and fishes👍
me too bro
Awesome to see the inner workings! Have you though about hanging the mops in the cory tanks so they don't collect as much detritus? Saw someone a while back that just made little hangers out of scrap PVC pipe
Some awesome Fish, there enjoyed watching next door
So amazing! I’d love to start breeding like that here. I wouldn’t be able to leave my room if it looked like that. Great job and education
I really think you just have to get lucky. I’ve had two bettas and they were fine with a pretty wide variety of creatures. Between the two they were with
- Snails
- Shrimp
- Kuhli Loaches
- Chili Rasboras

All these with no issues, but I’m always wary to try again just because it’s tough to tell for sure how they’ll react.
Wow, that was a long haul, but thanks to give some insights there! 😄
Would I move from tassie to learn the fish ways from this man? yessir.
Love your videos. I cracked up when you rinsed the coffee cups for the brine shrimp. lol. Not sure about the instant coffee.🤣
Thanks Nick love your enthusiasm.
You do an absolutely amazing work there 🤩 your fish room is unbelievable 💪
Awesome fabulous fish tanks. Where do you get bug-buffet ? Awesome idea to put plants in pots !! Prosperous fishy-dad you are much. Fun !! Amazing !!
I have a green thumb on land. Not so much in the aquarium. Started uping the nutrient dose. So far so good.
awesome as always. If the brine shrimp fall into the coffee they are probably good for people too, jaja saludos desde Costa Rica :)
YAY! black rams coming back hell yes. cannot wait till you line breed them to stunners, you can just take my money
I really enjoyed watching this video, Thank u so much, i'd like to see some tetras and cichlid in the shop.
Great video mate! at least if we run out of coffee we always got Bug Buffet, it would probably be better for me 🤣
👏👏👏 YOUVE PROGRESSED SO FAR......JUST THINK OF WHERE YOU WERE 12 MONTHS AGO.....WELL DONE NICK 👍
Since you already realize leaving the mülk in there is beneficial, i recommend adding some dry hay straw in a few test tanks. I have bought your bug buffet food and it js great stuff! All the Fish love it!
Amazing room and hope to buy some fish off of you soon ❤
Do you dry out the banana leaves before adding to the tanks ?

Try keeping bristlenose pair with the zebras ,the hormonene realeze may trigger the spawn.😊
I’m over in the U.S. we get pea puffers for roughly $6 where I am if you were wondering
Thankk youuu for all the information learning a lot from youuu!!!!!!
Loveeeee yourrrr roomm
I have a question can i keep loach in growout tank?
Likeee i have seen you have kept some in your community breeding tank so is it okay to put my 30 days fry with them?
Nice tour mate. What we'd all give to have even a fraction of those tanks to experiment with. I'll be in soon to take advantage of some of the great prices. Do you have any plans to open the shop any other days?
Super impressed with your operations. Keep up the good work.
So inspiring and motivate this video.

Really enjoy watching all your vids - fantastic information in all of them.
Will Bug Buffet ever be available in the UK ?
Thank you for showing all the interesting fish and tips to breed them. 😍
Great to see where you got to now from the videos at home to first fish room to now.
Shame about the L046 and are you sure they are all males send us some pics we can look into it for you? I have some myself growing at the moment. Shame I'm not in Australia or would come to see you guys.

Enjoyed the vid so much.. keep up the good work! And can also add that my fish in Norway loves the bug buffet :)
It's all so beautiful. I wish I could have that many tanks! Do you have any plans to ship to WA at some point
I'm in the USA and this is a way bigger selection of fish than any of the local or chain fish stores near me. I certainly wouldn't call it small.
Great work dude, loved every minute of fish feeding :D
That zebra pleco comment was really relatable lol was about to spend a bunch on a group but instead am breeding my way up to hopefully get them for -free- well not out of pocket money haha Currently on phase 02 with my L201s started with bristles which afforded me these! I love blackworms lol 😂 they are so interesting.
Never do I ever leave sponge filters near them.... I am gonna have to try now. 😂 That was awesome!
Love these tours. Any shell dweller plans on the horizon?
Can you do a video on blackworms? and how you keep them? also would like to see a video on plumbing and manage that volume of water
