The sad thing is many dashers think they're being smart by maximizing their miles or justify it as "it takes money to make money". The IRS is many things but they aren't stupid or generous, dashers didn't outsmart them or find a glitch in the system with the mileage deduction that's the IRS saying hey we aren't going to TAX you (their only job), because your costs to operate were $x so that's money you lost. Like you said every dasher eventually pays the price, gig work is nothing more than a payday loan against your car.
Other than repairs if your car is not new and has fairly high mileage and is paid off, it’s a tossup I know, but many people, drive far and long distances to commute to work and get nothing for that. That’s her mentioned stuck in traffic which we can famously avoid and not work during high traffic times. You can also run errands or try to pick up a dash to where you were headed which always helps pay for the trip Lol.
@gooddogtrainingservices5351 Choosing a trip for pay is never a toss-up. It will be positive, neutral, or negative. If neutral, you're selling your time for free. If negative, you are performing charity. If positive, you have a viable business. Vehicles don't factor in to trip decision making. Paid off or not doesn't matter. A vehicle is not a physical "thing" for a driver; it is better understood as a container of miles. If you owned a fleet of vehicles, it would be easier to understand, because this is how cab companies and car rental companies do it... Fleet buyers don't buy vehicles. They buy miles. And then sell those miles at a profit. The actual car is just a medium of exchange to buy and sell miles.
This video has taught me that I need to find another job and stop this DoorDash Uber Eats bullshit. I've been doing this job for 6 years and it's a completely different experience than it used to be. This is why you should never ever do low ball offers to keep your A/R up. You work for minimum wage and your high mileage car will be worth pennies on the dollar after 2 years. Good luck when its time to replace your car while earning minimum wage.
I have a pretty good full time job already and door dash was just away that I could make some extra money on my days off. As expensive it is to live, I don't care who you are everyone can use extra money nowadays. I realized quick that I was running my car into the ground and it wasn't worth it. Same boat here I make pretty good money on my Monday thru Friday but of course at the moment need more cash but my car waste too much gas and I’m not trying to put a lot of mileage on my beautiful vehicle.I see people saying the drive 30 to 40k a year I can’t do that to my car they better be ready for the maintenance
I'm driving a Chevrolet Bolt and the list at 3:36 had me balling. If you're not in an EV you're doing it wrong. 😂 I bought mine used with 125K miles then purchased 6 (2 as spares) 16" steel rims, manual tire changer + balancer. Learn your area where free chargers are and take advantage. In my area 3 dealerships have their DC fast chargers free to use and it's definitely a nice thing to fall back upon in those slow months like January and is now picking up with first holiday Valentine's.
I have a good paying job as well and make this my side hustle only. I work about 20hrs/week with a goal to hit Gross $. I have a paid for used car, and unless there is major repair needed, I do all my own maintenance and minor repairs. I definitely would never do this full time. Just not worth it

Hello. I started Doordashing for the first time 2 weeks ago. I’m glad I’m watching all these community videos and getting familiar with all the other drivers and their perspectives. I started to get a little bit of money and I’m thinking about doing it a bit more just to be able to actually pay for basic needs like food, water, clothes, and even bills. Hopefully I get a better paying job into the future.
You are 100 percent correct! DD is abusing our rights as IC. Have been since day one. They use the phrase to skirt employer/employee taxes. They also are gauging the drivers out of there pay. DD is charging the customer for delivery from $6 to $10 dollars per delivery. But all they want to pay you is $2.00 per delivery. Additionally due to the current inflation, tips are few and far between as people really can’t afford to tip like they should. I have spent the past few years developing a spreadsheet system that calculates all expenses and pay link with a cost per mile sheet. It also calculates your quarterly taxes. So yes a lot of dashers think they are making bank but like you spelled out they really are not.

They also don’t tell you that you probably won’t be getting orders if you’re parked and you need to keep moving around to get orders. This will use more mileage and mileage that is not paid for.
I dunno. A lot of the youtubers i follow who do food delivery on scooters aren’t always moving around. Sometimes they just chill by a group of restaurants until orders come in. So i don’t think you need to be moving necessarily to get more orders. Altho i would argue that riding around on a scooter 🛵 is a lot more fun than riding around in a car. And easier on the gas consumption too! 😉 👍🏼
Don’t even do it in a car! Only do food delivery on a scooter that gets 100mpg. It’s the only way to make real money doing it. Save a ton on gas. Pay next to nothing for insurance & maintenance. It’s easier to park & get in & out of restaurants. I really don’t know why anyone would do it in a car. Rideshare yes. Of course. But food delivery? Scooters are so much better than cars.

The best thing about it was that it was so easy to move around, didn’t have to worry about parking, etc. The scooter was pretty affordable (cost me $850 CAD in total on Amazon), and still works great! I got myself an electric bike with fat tires for the winter for roughly $1k CAD: definitely worth the investment. However, I’m much more of a scooter guy because of how much lighter they are to carry around. Looking to profit from my scooter again this summer!

If you live in an environment like that, which is really spread out far from an urban environment…Food delivery probably isn’t the best choice in any vehicle. As far as the cold on a scooter? That depends on the person. I do long bike trips all over the world, and actually know how to ride in the most frigid of temps. Others cringe at the thought. Here in NY, it gets pretty cold. But if you dress warmly & have heated gloves, food delivery on a scooter ain’t bad at all. Plus again, the money you save over a car is HUGE.
I went out tonight and they had a $3 promo in my area for every delivery and they sent me to every single restaurant. 15 minutes before the order was ready. And on a normal, day I can walk in and walk out with an a minute.

I'm saying I was walking into a restaurant At six o'clock in the order wasn't supposed to be done until six fifteen, and the order didn't even get finished until six thirty seven because of how busy it was.

Door dash, instacart, and rideshare are all shortchanging us. I used to drive for Uber back in 2014 I made 3x of what I could make today. It’s 2024 and in most industries are paying less. You also have to factor in the cost of living today with such a pay cut.
I'm new to dashing.. 3 weeks in.. I had a sudden need for additional cash flow and dashing allowed me to instantly receive it! I crossed off soooo much on my list that needed immediate attention and was so thankful for it.. I do recommend it for various needs.. One in school can grab some needed money to get them through/put up for saving or heck for a new car/insurance.. pay off loans, Quick money for upcoming events/vacations, renovations, surgery, dental work heck the list goes on.. or just to make ends meet.. Track those miles/expenses and account for taxes and all will be well - Happy Dashing xoxo
I'm trying to figure out how giving my experience makes me a spy? This is my true experience.. Why does everyone have to always jump to conclusions.. I gave my input on how I felt about it.. The points made definitely had me thinking and this and other videos gives me great insight.. I totally understood it and glad I ran across it.. And I'm sure others will do their math and do the same.. We need more teachable moments like this.. And it's the same working a W2 meaning expenses/costs are involved . I worked them but I've done IC (independent contracting) last 12 years.. And even with W2 jobs I put wear and tearfrom my home not driving and as a W2 employee I had to drive 60 miles a day to get to the job.. So I clearly understood his point.. But let's not judge every comment that sees light in the work they do or helpful income that's available after all we choose to do it... xoxo
I totally agree with you. I operated for just a month and already spent on replacing my brakes, frequent oil change, and recent increase in price of gas is outrageous. I have been spending more than earning.
From the vehicle aspect, I am so blessed. I have been driving my 2014 Jeep Wrangler and it's just come down with the famous engine tick they are famous for. My husband works on vehicles and can fix about anything. We have had an old beater with less than 100k on it and a good running engine. We had thought the transmission went on it and eere going to junk it. The husband's son came over and said "are you sure it's not just such and such" can't remember what the actual problem was. Anyways, now it's fixed, I can use it for my deliveries and it doesn't matter when it breaks for good and now my husband and stepson can tear apart my Jeep and replace the rocker arm that is ticking. I only ever have to pay parts on repairs and maintenance.

Driving to deliver food on gig apps just doesn’t make any sense in the post-pandemic era. I don’t get why people don’t invest in electric bikes instead of depreciating cars to deliver food. At least in my market, you get the same payout whether you’re driving or riding a bike (I use mainly UberEats). A decent electric bike (with fat tires for winter use) will cost easily about $1k in Canada (bought mine for around that price on Amazon). I’m basically working on food delivery at most 3 hours a day (ideally 7 days a week) and riding the bike downtown (Montreal), I’m averaging between $20 (on a slow day) to $30 an hour. I already have an electric scooter (cost in total $850) that I use in the summer time. If you invest in at least two bikes and/or scooters, that’s a lot less than $5k, and these assets will last you at least 3-4 years if properly maintained (tire change, brake and battery replacements will cost a lot less than annual car maintenance). And before you guys say anything about adjusting to riding these vehicles, the learning curve is pretty flat: I learned how to ride an e-scooter in less than two hours (I had never ridden one before summer (2023). I would make the same amount with a car, but the expenses and depreciation associated to generating that revenue just doesn’t make economic sense.
Honda makes a nice 125cc scooter for 4k. I'm planning on getting one come summer for delivery. Australia post office used to use this model to deliver mail, so they're almost purpose built for delivery. Light, 90 mpg, bullet proof with just normal maintenance, and probably a ton of fun on a warm summer evening.
I’ve been planning on getting one before summer. I’m 30 minutes from the city, and I have two vehicles with one being a cash Chevy Malibu getting a 4 cylinder engine replaced. That’s the one I plan use for deliveries on bad weather or cold days, but I’m keeping the scooter In the car for summer.
@shakebackj9362 It might be better to get a bike that requires a license plate. The delivery apps restrict the trips they allow to be delivered by e-bikes, but generally consider cars and motor bikes to be the same for trip offers. That's why I'm going with a Honda Trail 125. It has a flat platform behind the seat, perfect for a large delivery bag and is street legal, requiring a license plate and insurance, but also highly improving delivery opportunities. Plus, it's a trail bike for weekend adventures. It'll do 50mph on the street without straining, and carry 150 pounds of camping equipment plus me on an off-road trail. And there are 1970's versions of same bike with 400-500k on the odometer... in Australia, so kilometers, but still... that's a ton of miles too. These things are change oil regularly, add gas and go almost forever.
I started doing deliveries on an E bike because I wanted to bike around to get exercise anyways and it keeps me from having to use my vehicle and spend any money on gas
I’ve also been driving over 6 years it will be 7 years in April. I’m in my 2nd new car! My first one was totaled at 100,000 miles, 90 miles was DD miles. It was totaled pulling into a customers driveway, blinker was on and not sure where that guy came from. Anyway 2 cars my 2nd new car has 75,000 miles and I’m soon to trade it in just to have a no worry vehicle. I change the oil at $99 every other month, bought 800.00 worth of tires last year because new cars put on 1/2 tires and at 30,000 tires are done! I buy the good tires with 90,000 mile warranty. DD has become trash for real 😢

The thing is, you can drive your car past that zero value point. That lowers the average yearly depreciation cost. The better way to calculate it is to calculate an overall lifetime average per mile cost. Include an estimate of mileage you can get out of the car, all the oil changes, an amount for repairs, tires, and anything else, even the increase in insurance. Any vehicle expense. This is effectively the same idea as the 67 cents per mile we get to write off, except it’s your own number. If you can do your own repairs and drive the car to 300,000+ miles, you can get your costs down per mile quite a bit. I agree there needs to be a legal requirement of a disclosure to explain that doing something like this will have you incur all of these costs. Almost nobody seems to understand it. They think it’s just gas.
Well said, I researched and planned my movement into the gigs. I bought a hybrid with 48k on it, they were known to last 200-300k miles as long as they are maintained. I estimated Id need to make 1000-1300 a week to live and be able to buy another hybrid in 3yrs or so. Just by taxes alone vs a w2 worker i figured out the difference. Say a w2 worker pays 22k in taxes that yr and a contractor pumping the miles pays 9k. That 13k is enough to slap down on another hybrid with low miles in 1yr.
I like the bidding system you suggested where are we put out what we want for the job and the customer gets to choose that would be awesome. It would weed out the bad actors that don't do a good job. It would be more reputation based and encourage people to do a really good job.
I’d say it’s only viable to use as a steppingstone for maybe like six months or a year at max. If you only do it for that long, then you can take a hit on the depreciation as you find another job, but any longer than that, and it isn’t sustainable.
I get orders from my work heading towards my house 90% of each work day. These orders might be 2 extra miles driven out of my way, but are very profitable for me as I have to drive these miles regardless. I think food delivery can be very profitable if done correctly.
I do between 2 to 6 deliveries per week, it gives me a break from Uber. I recently quit Lyft, again.. when they decided to not pay me a cancelation fee. I do Uber usually about 6 hours a day. I think putting the experience of a Dasher in the app for a selection might keep newbies from getting orders. That would be a bit unfair. I think the base pay needs to be per miles and weather condition. If its freezing, raining or burning hot, pay more, as its harder to do, if its a huge order going up 3 flights of stairs or into a tall office building, pay more..etc.. the pay should be according to the effort. Recently I did a delivery during our Gem show here in Tucson, it was a huge order, heavy bags of food. I did ok with that order but I feel that an extra $5 would have made it more worth doing.
I have a full time job at Sam’s club and started door dashing again after work on my ebike. Every night I open the app and hope to find an order heading home. My stats for this past month have shown in my area, junk! 9 out of ten are junk! I am glad I don’t door dash in a car. An ebike is an entirely different math, no car repairs, no insurance, no car payment and no depreciation. Ideally, I would like to assemble my side by side ebike velomobile/RV like creation to rest and wait for orders at a busy location. And where ever door dash takes me and where ever I end up is where I lay my head and rest, waiting for orders to let door dash take me again. I am not giving up my day job.
The biggest problem is THEY REQUIRE US TO TEXT WHILE DRIVING. That is my only concern. We are in danger and are endangering others. They want us to even take pictures of our pizza bag knowing full well we are racing to the client. Once while driving on a busy highway they asked me to take my own picture to make sure it was me!! What?? Who else would it be from my number?? Hello. So, I'm Ying down the highway after fireworks went off for holiday...traffic everywhere and moving fast. I was stuck taking photos and submitted them until they were satisfied. Now that's some crazy stuff too. BTW, it's now illegal to text and drive in Missouri yet you can't dash and NOT text.
I have a 99 Mitsubishi Montero sport and do all my own work. Preventative maintenance is the key. Treating your car like a fleet vehicle will save you in the long run. But having a personal vehicle will be a better option.
I like what you are saying about us not really being independent contractors. Very good point. However I don’t really agree with your proposal for how it would work. Customers are not going to sit there and put all of this mental thought into picking out a driver. They just want their food. Also, it would prevent the driver who is slightly picky from making any money at all, it would be a lowball driver festival
For my Door Dashing, I got a $2,000 car (2012 Toyota Camry) on Craigslist. I have driven the car over 20K miles and not a single issue. I put $500 tires on it that are rated for 60K miles. When it dies, buy another. New subscriber, really enjoy your content.

Im doing this full time and what a big mistake. Still looking for a full time w2 and then just doing this part time but still….this is bullshit we need to be being payed for our cars/miles. In my gig work income/tax tracking spreadsheet I have three income columns. Taxable income, net wealth income, and cash flow income. Taxable is revenue minus the 67 cents per mile. Net wealth is revenue minus my estimated 30 cents per mile cost. Cash flow is weekly revenue minus weekly incurred cost.
You really need to do you research if you think a Chevy cruizzzzz is a reliable car that’s a first step Toyota Corolla. This is with any job you get taxed any business you own.
If you are only doing this work occasionally to make a little extra money, the depreciation is negligible on all vehicles. What he’s talking about is doing this full time to make a living. If you’re doing this to make a living, it doesn’t matter what vehicle you are driving now. With every delivery you are causing wear on your vehicle and it will have to be replaced. In addition to the expenses he mentions, you need to be setting aside $1000 every month so that you can replace your vehicle when needed. (If you’re driving an older vehicle you should probably double or triple that amount because you’re already behind.) When you add it all up, gig work is not a viable business model for drivers. You will discover that no matter what you do, you will always be losing money. If you want to do it for fun and make a few bucks, great! Just don’t trap yourself into thinking you can actually make a living doing this. The numbers don’t lie.
@@brianwiirre5110 Woah! Your numbers are off by an unpaid mile... And I do make a living doing this; have for 5 years. First, it absolutely DOES matter what vehicle is being driven. Toyota Corolla or Camry (hybrid) for absolute max efficiency, or Mazda 3 sedan or CX-5 for more luxury. Buy new and treat them well and you'll get 300k+ miles easily. At 50k miles a year, 1k per week; that's 6 years per vehicle, or 72 months. If you're selling miles at $1.50 per and up and driving 1k miles a week, you'll be grossing 6k per month... how hard is it to put aside $500 out of 6k a month for eventual vehicle replacement? "But taxes and gas and maintenance and repairs..." Oh, I get it. The vehicle costs 30k out the door. Already that's 10 cents a mile IF you get 300k miles, which is why it matters which vehicle. If you drive a vehicle that breaks at 150k, you spent 20 cents a mile just to buy it. Another 10-15 cents per mile for gas. And another 5-10 cents per mile for basic maintenance. Choose the right car and properly maintain it, and you'll be buying miles for 30-35 cents and selling them for $1.50 each. If you choose proper paying business. Choose the wrong car, and you might pay anywhere from 50-100+ cents per mile... a desperate person might still make that work, but it'd be pretty hard. It's easily possible to earn a living doing this; almost anyone can. It's just a matter of making the right decisions. We Buy miles and then we Sell miles... that's it. I buy miles at 35 cents per and sell them at an average 200 cents per, all day long.

Great video. Doordash and Uber are both under pressure to finally turn a profit by shareholders. DD hasn't turned profit in 10 years. Their bottom line sucks. Do you think the executives are going to take a pay cut??😃 No way! The biggest expense DD has in paying drivers. That is where both of these companies are trimming budget. DD simply doesn't make enough per unit to turn a profit. Don't let them exploit you anymore.

Ive been doing it full time for two years but i do also have a small part time income but this is about 80% of my income and i just moved to save $800 a month on my rent but the market in my new area is so bad that im making about $800 less per month with the gig work so i am looking into going back to W2 as soon as possible. I just had to replace my two front tires, again, because they had bubbles from the bumpy pothole roads
Not to be a negative Nancy but, the expenses you estimate are way off. $500 for brakes is insane! and 1000 for tires is also insane! Why buy the best of the best if you're gonna replace then every year (assuming you drive over 40k miles) just my 2 cents!
I agree about the tires. Brakes however could cost you 500 or more to have someone else put them on. For me, I can do it myself. It's not hard and it's a good skill for a gig worker to learn in order to lower cost.
I thought Door Dash was going to be really good today, and there is even a $3.00 promo but it was terrible. The stores were busy with people getting their own candy and flowers. Last year was much better.

I’m Officially throwing in towels on food delivery. Switch to rideshare. I’m in Washington state and we have guaranteed pay and sick time benefits on rideshare. But not food delivery. The guaranteed ride share pay equates to almost $2/mile per ride between the per mile and per minute rate
I dash all summer on my motorcycle pretty much eliminates gas expenses and use a beater Honda civic in the winter they are cheap and reliable my 05 civic has 250k and never lets me down I drive 100+ miles a day plus know how to take care of your own vehicles and doordash and is a very profitable job I can’t believe I see people dashing in cars they pay on especially people in suvs
What’s great is getting randomly banned from DashMart with no contract violation and 9.95 rating, 4,500 deliveries. Cut my income bad at first but Uber has come through and saved me big time! I took a break from Uber and now I’m doing it primarily now while DD is just back up at night.
Yes, but the point of the video is that, DD claims avg pay is around 20-25/hr, which is false. A lot of drivers don’t realize the cost of doing the gig. If DD stated an avg. of 8-12/hr after cost of operating, that would be more reasonable and then people would have a better understanding to gig or not.
@@ChickenThug55 Must depend on the market, I run 3 apps while out and about. I get good shopping orders and ussually a good catering order a day with an avg AR of 40. I dont really look at things as hourly, I take breaks through out the day, my goal is 1000 a week and I always break that goal. I experiment with different zones. Each week Im planted in 3 zones and they all generate money differently.
6 year driver. It’s over, this is the beginning of the end. In the last 9 months it’s gone to shit. Used to average $35 an hour after learning all the ins and outs. Those days are long gone. Too many drivers, less orders, oh and here in CA the $20 fast food worker wage increase is gonna make it even worse
That’s why I bought a good ole trusty chevy impala to use as my work car lol. My 2020 traverse had almost 20k miles put on it in the first year I had it because of me using it for doordash. I still owe around 30k on it but it’s only worth like 25k now because of the miles I put on it. So I got the impala to use for work
What year? I have a 2012 Impala. It’s trash. It averages 23 mpg but worse when dashing due to constant stop and go. I’ve gone through 2 drivetrains, 3 engine rework. Good thing it was covered under warranty.
Where do you live that federal state and (possibly) county taxes are less than 15% for self employment? I paid 15% for Federal taxes alone when I worked tax paying jobs. Plus another 10% for state taxes.y dad used to set aside nearly 50% for all self employment taxes. So where do you live that self employment is cheaper than traditional employment?
The only way to make any of this profitable is to buy a 5+ year old EV, Hybrid, HPEV and learn what hours of the day are the highest paying. I have a Leaf EV and a Ford Fusion PHEV and I only accept Uber Eats over $1.50 per mile and I stay above 80% on Door Dash and cherry pick between 80-85% in the Top Dasher Program ($25 per hour before costs). You NEED to run this like a business now, if you just wing it you're going to get crushed!!!
Agreed, my stratagies are similar, I have the same rules as you. I drive a 2013 fusion hybrid and now have 62k miles on it, but its paid for. I dont do the top dasher thingy anymore, I made more in my market with an AR at 40, here having 20 vs 80 is the same exact thing. The most I ever made on a night shift was 260 with an AR of 37. Just the other day I made 30 an hr for the first 2hrs, and it slowed down after 1pm, opened up uber and made 60 dollars in 1hr and 8mins. I just multi app more. Like one day I opened up DD, GH, and UE, made 45 that hr on the start of the shift.
Nah the absolute best way would be to drive an older car. With renting you’re paying the cost upfront to maintain a newer car, a rental company isn’t gonna take a loss.
Doordash will never be "autonomous." There is much more to this than simple driving from point A to point B. How is an autonomous car going to enter a building, wait, pick up, and then deliver to someone on the 4th floor of an apartment building or hotel? It can't be done.

They’re just gonna have to pay their human drivers better 👍 😂

DD doesnt pay for our gas, maintenance and food. If DD has machines to do it all, Id think the machines would be the ''biggest expense''. Robotics are not cheap. Imagine the technicians needed all the time to fix them and the energy to power them. Cost through the roof.
A $4000 scooter would incur about 1/4 of all listed expenses. Also, a Honda Trail 110 is still going to be worth $2000 with a blown engine and infinite mileage. So DD is still feasible for some.

Door dash is a business like any other. You have to understand this. Ok Blake, you are a business owner. You have overhead, costs. You want to maximize your profitability as a business. It's the same for door dash. They have drivers. They found a way to deliver food from once place using these drivers. If our pay increases their customers have to pay more. If customers have to pay more then door dash loses costumers and get less profitability. All businesses are like this. It's why they fire employees that damage goods. That don't work hard. Door dash doesn't have to worry about this cause they cover the whole United States. Not just one factory producing goods. You know why Walmart is able to charge less. Cause they don't advertise with stuff other places do. Advertising costs money and impacts prices. Look at Aldi. They don't advertise. They make you pay for your cart and pay for your bags. This lowers overhead and makes prices cheaper.
And if you make $15 an hour at a job after taxes and all the other crap they take out of your paycheck you’re only really making like $10 an hour. That’s the other part that you have to remember plus your drive to and from work every day which could be 15 to 45+ minutes does not count for anything and that’s time wasted in miles on your car that you will not get reimbursed for. Some people commute like an hour plus each way every day or even walk to work or take the bus, etc..
We are definitely not independent contractors DD is misclassifying and I’m pretty sure one day this classification will end after enough lawsuits come in!

I appreciate the effort my dude, but this is so highly variable and those expenses are vastly inflated to be almost worst case scenario. Especially if you factor in reliable fuel efficient cars which is all delivery drivers should be using. Also also im surprised you aren't considering this since you seem savvy, but certain vehicles (*cough* american made *cough*) depreciate faster than others because they don't last as long and require more repairs. Honda, Hyundai, and Toyota all the way. They are also better on gas. Here are my numbers as gathered from the 6+ years I've been doing delivery driving. -Average 20-30 per hour. -Orders must be over 1.50 per mile but are usually at least 2$ a mile. -i spend an average 80-100 a month on gas. So less than $1,500 a year. Maybe 2,000 worst case. -i spend no more than $250-500 a year on tires if i get tires every year. -brake pads and rotors are not 500. At least not here and rotors do not need yearly changing. -i made $500 in tax return.. i didnt spend on taxes. -my average expenses usually come out to be 15-20% max of my total earnings. So if i made 25 per hour, my profit is more like 20. Fine by me. Its not always that bad. Yes Doordash is shady and theres a ton of problems, and im glad you discuss this topic, but these numbers belong to some idiot lol. Probably not most of us. In case it wasnt clear, im not a TD. Never have been. Never will be. My AR is rarely above 20%
Wise, agreed on rotors, if you neglect the brake pads then rotors need to be replaced. How do you get tires so cheap? I know I spent 1000 dollars on tires for an F150 truck. I have a hybrid I drive for the gigs and I havent checked what tires will cost for that.

There are a lot of videos that break down the actual dollar per hour your earning including all your expenses and at the end of it all what that total is but it doesn't seem like anyone wants to take an account for themselves I would suggest that over 80% of drivers are not people who want to work for a living and so they're happy to drive around in their car and not have to work, if they did have to work obviously they could earn more possibly that would be a stable income but they would have to actually do something in order to earn that stable income these are people that do not want to have a stable income or work for a living of course that option is available for anyone, furthermore I suggest 80% or more of Uber drivers do not have a business license or run their own courier service yet they tell other people that they work for one of these companies when they do not work for that company,if you can earn 20.30 $40,000 after all of these expenses and depreciation of your vehicle and all the other negatives that are pointed out because you really should have earned $80,000 but all you had to do was sit around and never get a job never even probably get dressed properly or take a shower or learn anything of education or skill whatsoever and you get to get all of that money😅😅😅😅

The sad thing is many dashers think they're being smart by maximizing their miles or justify it as "it takes money to make money". The IRS is many things but they aren't stupid or generous, dashers didn't outsmart them or find a glitch in the system with the mileage deduction that's the IRS saying hey we aren't going to TAX you (their only job), because your costs to operate were $x so that's money you lost. Like you said every dasher eventually pays the price, gig work is nothing more than a payday loan against your car.
Other than repairs if your car is not new and has fairly high mileage and is paid off, it’s a tossup I know, but many people, drive far and long distances to commute to work and get nothing for that. That’s her mentioned stuck in traffic which we can famously avoid and not work during high traffic times. You can also run errands or try to pick up a dash to where you were headed which always helps pay for the trip Lol.

Choosing a trip for pay is never a toss-up. It will be positive, neutral, or negative. If neutral, you're selling your time for free. If negative, you are performing charity. If positive, you have a viable business.
Vehicles don't factor in to trip decision making. Paid off or not doesn't matter. A vehicle is not a physical "thing" for a driver; it is better understood as a container of miles. If you owned a fleet of vehicles, it would be easier to understand, because this is how cab companies and car rental companies do it...
Fleet buyers don't buy vehicles. They buy miles. And then sell those miles at a profit. The actual car is just a medium of exchange to buy and sell miles.

I have a pretty good full time job already and door dash was just away that I could make some extra money on my days off. As expensive it is to live, I don't care who you are everyone can use extra money nowadays. I realized quick that I was running my car into the ground and it wasn't worth it. I'm driving a Chevrolet Bolt and the list at 3:36 had me balling. If you're not in an EV you're doing it wrong. 😂 I bought mine used with 125K miles then purchased 6 (2 as spares) 16" steel rims, manual tire changer + balancer. Learn your area where free chargers are and take advantage. In my area 3 dealerships have their DC fast chargers free to use and it's definitely a nice thing to fall back upon in those slow months like January and is now picking up with first holiday Valentine's.
I have a good paying job as well and make this my side hustle only. I work about 20hrs/week with a goal to hit Gross $. I have a paid for used car, and unless there is major repair needed, I do all my own maintenance and minor repairs. I definitely would never do this full time. Just not worth it

Hello. I started Doordashing for the first time 2 weeks ago. I’m glad I’m watching all these community videos and getting familiar with all the other drivers and their perspectives. I started to get a little bit of money and I’m thinking about doing it a bit more just to be able to actually pay for basic needs like food, water, clothes, and even bills. Hopefully I get a better paying job into the future.

You are 100 percent correct! DD is abusing our rights as IC. Have been since day one. They use the phrase to skirt employer/employee taxes. They also are gauging the drivers out of there pay. DD is charging the customer for delivery from $6 to $10 dollars per delivery. But all they want to pay you is $2.00 per delivery. Additionally due to the current inflation, tips are few and far between as people really can’t afford to tip like they should.
I have spent the past few years developing a spreadsheet system that calculates all expenses and pay link with a cost per mile sheet. It also calculates your quarterly taxes. So yes a lot of dashers think they are making bank but like you spelled out they really are not.

They also don’t tell you that you probably won’t be getting orders if you’re parked and you need to keep moving around to get orders. This will use more mileage and mileage that is not paid for.

I dunno. A lot of the youtubers i follow who do food delivery on scooters aren’t always moving around. Sometimes they just chill by a group of restaurants until orders come in. So i don’t think you need to be moving necessarily to get more orders. Altho i would argue that riding around on a scooter 🛵 is a lot more fun than riding around in a car. And easier on the gas consumption too! 😉 👍🏼

Don’t even do it in a car! Only do food delivery on a scooter that gets 100mpg. It’s the only way to make real money doing it. Save a ton on gas. Pay next to nothing for insurance & maintenance. It’s easier to park & get in & out of restaurants. I really don’t know why anyone would do it in a car. Rideshare yes. Of course. But food delivery? Scooters are so much better than cars.

@@Regantdarcyseriously! I was making $800 a week with ~25h of active time last summer on an e-scooter! The best thing about it was that it was so easy to move around, didn’t have to worry about parking, etc.
The scooter was pretty affordable (cost me $850 CAD in total on Amazon), and still works great!
I got myself an electric bike with fat tires for the winter for roughly $1k CAD: definitely worth the investment. However, I’m much more of a scooter guy because of how much lighter they are to carry around.

If you live in an environment like that, which is really spread out far from an urban environment…Food delivery probably isn’t the best choice in any vehicle. As far as the cold on a scooter? That depends on the person. I do long bike trips all over the world, and actually know how to ride in the most frigid of temps. Others cringe at the thought. Here in NY, it gets pretty cold. But if you dress warmly & have heated gloves, food delivery on a scooter ain’t bad at all. Plus again, the money you save over a car is HUGE.

I went out tonight and they had a $3 promo in my area for every delivery and they sent me to every single restaurant. 15 minutes before the order was ready. And on a normal, day I can walk in and walk out with an a minute.

I'm saying I was walking into a restaurant At six o'clock in the order wasn't supposed to be done until six fifteen, and the order didn't even get finished until six thirty seven because of how busy it was.

Door dash, instacart, and rideshare are all shortchanging us. I used to drive for Uber back in 2014 I made 3x of what I could make today. It’s 2024 and in most industries are paying less. You also have to factor in the cost of living today with such a pay cut.
I'm new to dashing.. 3 weeks in.. I had a sudden need for additional cash flow and dashing allowed me to instantly receive it! I crossed off soooo much on my list that needed immediate attention and was so thankful for it.. I do recommend it for various needs.. One in school can grab some needed money to get them through/put up for saving or heck for a new car/insurance.. pay off loans, Quick money for upcoming events/vacations, renovations, surgery, dental work heck the list goes on.. or just to make ends meet.. Track those miles/expenses and account for taxes and all will be well - Happy Dashing xoxo

I totally agree with you. I operated for just a month and already spent on replacing my brakes, frequent oil change, and recent increase in price of gas is outrageous. I have been spending more than earning.
From the vehicle aspect, I am so blessed. I have been driving my 2014 Jeep Wrangler and it's just come down with the famous engine tick they are famous for.
My husband works on vehicles and can fix about anything. We have had an old beater with less than 100k on it and a good running engine. We had thought the transmission went on it and eere going to junk it. The husband's son came over and said "are you sure it's not just such and such" can't remember what the actual problem was. Anyways, now it's fixed, I can use it for my deliveries and it doesn't matter when it breaks for good and now my husband and stepson can tear apart my Jeep and replace the rocker arm that is ticking. I only ever have to pay parts on repairs and maintenance.

Driving to deliver food on gig apps just doesn’t make any sense in the post-pandemic era.
I don’t get why people don’t invest in electric bikes instead of depreciating cars to deliver food.
At least in my market, you get the same payout whether you’re driving or riding a bike (I use mainly UberEats).
A decent electric bike (with fat tires for winter use) will cost easily about $1k in Canada (bought mine for around that price on Amazon). I’m basically working on food delivery at most 3 hours a day (ideally 7 days a week) and riding the bike downtown (Montreal), I’m averaging between $20 (on a slow day) to $30 an hour. I already have an electric scooter (cost in total $850) that I use in the summer time.
If you invest in at least two bikes and/or scooters, that’s a lot less than $5k, and these assets will last you at least 3-4 years if properly maintained (tire change, brake and battery replacements will cost a lot less than annual car maintenance).
And before you guys say anything about adjusting to riding these vehicles, the learning curve is pretty flat: I learned how to ride an e-scooter in less than two hours (I had never ridden one before summer (2023).
I would make the same amount with a car, but the expenses and depreciation associated to generating that revenue just doesn’t make economic sense.
In a big city that’s maybe doable, but not My small town you can’t get around like that, you need a car

Honda makes a nice 125cc scooter for 4k. I'm planning on getting one come summer for delivery. Australia post office used to use this model to deliver mail, so they're almost purpose built for delivery. Light, 90 mpg, bullet proof with just normal maintenance, and probably a ton of fun on a warm summer evening.
I’ve been planning on getting one before summer. I’m 30 minutes from the city, and I have two vehicles with one being a cash Chevy Malibu getting a 4 cylinder engine replaced. That’s the one I plan use for deliveries on bad weather or cold days, but I’m keeping the scooter In the car for summer.

It might be better to get a bike that requires a license plate. The delivery apps restrict the trips they allow to be delivered by e-bikes, but generally consider cars and motor bikes to be the same for trip offers. That's why I'm going with a Honda Trail 125. It has a flat platform behind the seat, perfect for a large delivery bag and is street legal, requiring a license plate and insurance, but also highly improving delivery opportunities.
Plus, it's a trail bike for weekend adventures. It'll do 50mph on the street without straining, and carry 150 pounds of camping equipment plus me on an off-road trail. And there are 1970's versions of same bike with 400-500k on the odometer... in Australia, so kilometers, but still... that's a ton of miles too. These things are change oil regularly, add gas and go almost forever.
I started doing deliveries on an E bike because I wanted to bike around to get exercise anyways and it keeps me from having to use my vehicle and spend any money on gas
I’ve also been driving over 6 years it will be 7 years in April. I’m in my 2nd new car! My first one was totaled at 100,000 miles, 90 miles was DD miles. It was totaled pulling into a customers driveway, blinker was on and not sure where that guy came from. Anyway 2 cars my 2nd new car has 75,000 miles and I’m soon to trade it in just to have a no worry vehicle. I change the oil at $99 every other month, bought 800.00 worth of tires last year because new cars put on 1/2 tires and at 30,000 tires are done! I buy the good tires with 90,000 mile warranty. DD has become trash for real 😢

The thing is, you can drive your car past that zero value point. That lowers the average yearly depreciation cost. The better way to calculate it is to calculate an overall lifetime average per mile cost. Include an estimate of mileage you can get out of the car, all the oil changes, an amount for repairs, tires, and anything else, even the increase in insurance. Any vehicle expense. This is effectively the same idea as the 67 cents per mile we get to write off, except it’s your own number. If you can do your own repairs and drive the car to 300,000+ miles, you can get your costs down per mile quite a bit.
I agree there needs to be a legal requirement of a disclosure to explain that doing something like this will have you incur all of these costs. Almost nobody seems to understand it. They think it’s just gas.
Well said, I researched and planned my movement into the gigs. I bought a hybrid with 48k on it, they were known to last 200-300k miles as long as they are maintained. I estimated Id need to make 1000-1300 a week to live and be able to buy another hybrid in 3yrs or so. Just by taxes alone vs a w2 worker i figured out the difference. Say a w2 worker pays 22k in taxes that yr and a contractor pumping the miles pays 9k. That 13k is enough to slap down on another hybrid with low miles in 1yr.
I like the bidding system you suggested where are we put out what we want for the job and the customer gets to choose that would be awesome. It would weed out the bad actors that don't do a good job. It would be more reputation based and encourage people to do a really good job.
I’d say it’s only viable to use as a steppingstone for maybe like six months or a year at max. If you only do it for that long, then you can take a hit on the depreciation as you find another job, but any longer than that, and it isn’t sustainable.

I get orders from my work heading towards my house 90% of each work day. These orders might be 2 extra miles driven out of my way, but are very profitable for me as I have to drive these miles regardless. I think food delivery can be very profitable if done correctly.
I think the government gives an average for all commercial vehicles. I’ve calculated that the cost of my vehicle is around 40 cents per mile

I do between 2 to 6 deliveries per week, it gives me a break from Uber. I recently quit Lyft, again.. when they decided to not pay me a cancelation fee. I do Uber usually about 6 hours a day. I think putting the experience of a Dasher in the app for a selection might keep newbies from getting orders. That would be a bit unfair. I think the base pay needs to be per miles and weather condition. If its freezing, raining or burning hot, pay more, as its harder to do, if its a huge order going up 3 flights of stairs or into a tall office building, pay more..etc.. the pay should be according to the effort. Recently I did a delivery during our Gem show here in Tucson, it was a huge order, heavy bags of food. I did ok with that order but I feel that an extra $5 would have made it more worth doing.
I have a full time job at Sam’s club and started door dashing again after work on my ebike. Every night I open the app and hope to find an order heading home. My stats for this past month have shown in my area, junk! 9 out of ten are junk! I am glad I don’t door dash in a car. An ebike is an entirely different math, no car repairs, no insurance, no car payment and no depreciation. Ideally, I would like to assemble my side by side ebike velomobile/RV like creation to rest and wait for orders at a busy location. And where ever door dash takes me and where ever I end up is where I lay my head and rest, waiting for orders to let door dash take me again. I am not giving up my day job.
The biggest problem is THEY REQUIRE US TO TEXT WHILE DRIVING. That is my only concern. We are in danger and are endangering others.
They want us to even take pictures of our pizza bag knowing full well we are racing to the client.
Once while driving on a busy highway they asked me to take my own picture to make sure it was me!! What?? Who else would it be from my number?? Hello. I have a 99 Mitsubishi Montero sport and do all my own work. Preventative maintenance is the key. Treating your car like a fleet vehicle will save you in the long run. But having a personal vehicle will be a better option.
I like what you are saying about us not really being independent contractors. Very good point. However I don’t really agree with your proposal for how it would work. Customers are not going to sit there and put all of this mental thought into picking out a driver. They just want their food. Also, it would prevent the driver who is slightly picky from making any money at all, it would be a lowball driver festival

For my Door Dashing, I got a $2,000 car (2012 Toyota Camry) on Craigslist. I have driven the car over 20K miles and not a single issue. I put $500 tires on it that are rated for 60K miles. When it dies, buy another. New subscriber, really enjoy your content.

In my gig work income/tax tracking spreadsheet I have three income columns. Taxable income, net wealth income, and cash flow income. Taxable is revenue minus the 67 cents per mile. Net wealth is revenue minus my estimated 30 cents per mile cost. Cash flow is weekly revenue minus weekly incurred cost.
Thankfully i only need to do door dash for a couple of more weeks until my new job starts

If you’re doing this to make a living, it doesn’t matter what vehicle you are driving now. With every delivery you are causing wear on your vehicle and it will have to be replaced. In addition to the expenses he mentions, you need to be setting aside $1000 every month so that you can replace your vehicle when needed. (If you’re driving an older vehicle you should probably double or triple that amount because you’re already behind.) When you add it all up, gig work is not a viable business model for drivers. You will discover that no matter what you do, you will always be losing money. If you want to do it for fun and make a few bucks, great! Just don’t trap yourself into thinking you can actually make a living doing this. The numbers don’t lie.

First, it absolutely DOES matter what vehicle is being driven. Toyota Corolla or Camry (hybrid) for absolute max efficiency, or Mazda 3 sedan or CX-5 for more luxury. Buy new and treat them well and you'll get 300k+ miles easily.
At 50k miles a year, 1k per week; that's 6 years per vehicle, or 72 months. If you're selling miles at $1.50 per and up and driving 1k miles a week, you'll be grossing 6k per month... how hard is it to put aside $500 out of 6k a month for eventual vehicle replacement?

Oh, I get it. The vehicle costs 30k out the door. Already that's 10 cents a mile IF you get 300k miles, which is why it matters which vehicle. If you drive a vehicle that breaks at 150k, you spent 20 cents a mile just to buy it. Another 10-15 cents per mile for gas. And another 5-10 cents per mile for basic maintenance.
Choose the right car and properly maintain it, and you'll be buying miles for 30-35 cents and selling them for $1.50 each. If you choose proper paying business. Choose the wrong car, and you might pay anywhere from 50-100+ cents per mile... a desperate person might still make that work, but it'd be pretty hard.
It's easily possible to earn a living doing this; almost anyone can. It's just a matter of making the right decisions. We Buy miles and then we Sell miles... that's it. I buy miles at 35 cents per and sell them at an average 200 cents per, all day long.

Great video. Doordash and Uber are both under pressure to finally turn a profit by shareholders. DD hasn't turned profit in 10 years. Their bottom line sucks. Do you think the executives are going to take a pay cut??😃 No way! The biggest expense DD has in paying drivers. That is where both of these companies are trimming budget. DD simply doesn't make enough per unit to turn a profit. Don't let them exploit you anymore.

Not to be a negative Nancy but, the expenses you estimate are way off. $500 for brakes is insane! and 1000 for tires is also insane! Why buy the best of the best if you're gonna replace then every year (assuming you drive over 40k miles) just my 2 cents!
I agree about the tires. Brakes however could cost you 500 or more to have someone else put them on. For me, I can do it myself. It's not hard and it's a good skill for a gig worker to learn in order to lower cost.

I thought Door Dash was going to be really good today, and there is even a $3.00 promo but it was terrible. The stores were busy with people getting their own candy and flowers. Last year was much better.
It makes no sense to pay the high fees plus a tip when you can go get it yourself.

I’m Officially throwing in towels on food delivery. Switch to rideshare. I’m in Washington state and we have guaranteed pay and sick time benefits on rideshare. But not food delivery. The guaranteed ride share pay equates to almost $2/mile per ride between the per mile and per minute rate

I dash all summer on my motorcycle pretty much eliminates gas expenses and use a beater Honda civic in the winter they are cheap and reliable my 05 civic has 250k and never lets me down I drive 100+ miles a day plus know how to take care of your own vehicles and doordash and is a very profitable job I can’t believe I see people dashing in cars they pay on especially people in suvs

Yes, but the point of the video is that, DD claims avg pay is around 20-25/hr, which is false. A lot of drivers don’t realize the cost of doing the gig. If DD stated an avg. of 8-12/hr after cost of operating, that would be more reasonable and then people would have a better understanding to gig or not.
@@ChickenThug55 Must depend on the market, I run 3 apps while out and about. I get good shopping orders and ussually a good catering order a day with an avg AR of 40. I dont really look at things as hourly, I take breaks through out the day, my goal is 1000 a week and I always break that goal. I experiment with different zones. Each week Im planted in 3 zones and they all generate money differently.
6 year driver. It’s over, this is the beginning of the end. In the last 9 months it’s gone to shit. Used to average $35 an hour after learning all the ins and outs. Those days are long gone. Too many drivers, less orders, oh and here in CA the $20 fast food worker wage increase is gonna make it even worse

That’s why I bought a good ole trusty chevy impala to use as my work car lol. My 2020 traverse had almost 20k miles put on it in the first year I had it because of me using it for doordash. I still owe around 30k on it but it’s only worth like 25k now because of the miles I put on it. So I got the impala to use for work
What year? I have a 2012 Impala. It’s trash. It averages 23 mpg but worse when dashing due to constant stop and go. I’ve gone through 2 drivetrains, 3 engine rework. Good thing it was covered under warranty.

I paid 15% for Federal taxes alone when I worked tax paying jobs. Plus another 10% for state taxes.y dad used to set aside nearly 50% for all self employment taxes.

The only way to make any of this profitable is to buy a 5+ year old EV, Hybrid, HPEV and learn what hours of the day are the highest paying. I have a Leaf EV and a Ford Fusion PHEV and I only accept Uber Eats over $1.50 per mile and I stay above 80% on Door Dash and cherry pick between 80-85% in the Top Dasher Program ($25 per hour before costs). You NEED to run this like a business now, if you just wing it you're going to get crushed!!!
Agreed, my stratagies are similar, I have the same rules as you. I drive a 2013 fusion hybrid and now have 62k miles on it, but its paid for. I dont do the top dasher thingy anymore, I made more in my market with an AR at 40, here having 20 vs 80 is the same exact thing. The most I ever made on a night shift was 260 with an AR of 37. Just the other day I made 30 an hr for the first 2hrs, and it slowed down after 1pm, opened up uber and made 60 dollars in 1hr and 8mins. I just multi app more. Like one day I opened up DD, GH, and UE, made 45 that hr on the start of the shift.
Doordash should have had mileage tracking and gas calculations built in.

Nah the absolute best way would be to drive an older car. With renting you’re paying the cost upfront to maintain a newer car, a rental company isn’t gonna take a loss.

Doordash will never be "autonomous." There is much more to this than simple driving from point A to point B. How is an autonomous car going to enter a building, wait, pick up, and then deliver to someone on the 4th floor of an apartment building or hotel? It can't be done.

There is already a massive pushback by Americans against EVs due to their limited range and cost. Couple that with the poor internet infrastructure found throughout rural areas in the United States and I do not think they can pull it off.

DD doesnt pay for our gas, maintenance and food. If DD has machines to do it all, Id think the machines would be the ''biggest expense''. Robotics are not cheap. Imagine the technicians needed all the time to fix them and the energy to power them. Cost through the roof.
A $4000 scooter would incur about 1/4 of all listed expenses. Also, a Honda Trail 110 is still going to be worth $2000 with a blown engine and infinite mileage. So DD is still feasible for some.

Door dash is a business like any other. You have to understand this. Ok Blake, you are a business owner. You have overhead, costs. You want to maximize your profitability as a business. It's the same for door dash. They have drivers. They found a way to deliver food from once place using these drivers. If our pay increases their customers have to pay more. If customers have to pay more then door dash loses costumers and get less profitability. All businesses are like this. It's why they fire employees that damage goods. That don't work hard. Door dash doesn't have to worry about this cause they cover the whole United States. Not just one factory producing goods.
You know why Walmart is able to charge less. Cause they don't advertise with stuff other places do. Advertising costs money and impacts prices. Look at Aldi. They don't advertise. They make you pay for your cart and pay for your bags. This lowers overhead and makes prices cheaper.

And if you make $15 an hour at a job after taxes and all the other crap they take out of your paycheck you’re only really making like $10 an hour. That’s the other part that you have to remember plus your drive to and from work every day which could be 15 to 45+ minutes does not count for anything and that’s time wasted in miles on your car that you will not get reimbursed for. Some people commute like an hour plus each way every day or even walk to work or take the bus, etc..

I appreciate the effort my dude, but this is so highly variable and those expenses are vastly inflated to be almost worst case scenario.
Especially if you factor in reliable fuel efficient cars which is all delivery drivers should be using. Also also im surprised you aren't considering this since you seem savvy, but certain vehicles (*cough* american made *cough*) depreciate faster than others because they don't last as long and require more repairs. Honda, Hyundai, and Toyota all the way. They are also better on gas.
Here are my numbers as gathered from the 6+ years I've been doing delivery driving.
-Average 20-30 per hour.
-Orders must be over 1.50 per mile but are usually at least 2$ a mile.
-i spend an average 80-100 a month on gas. So less than $1,500 a year. Maybe 2,000 worst case.
-i spend no more than $250-500 a year on tires if i get tires every year.
-brake pads and rotors are not 500. At least not here and rotors do not need yearly changing.
-i made $500 in tax return.. i didnt spend on taxes.
-my average expenses usually come out to be 15-20% max of my total earnings. So if i made 25 per hour, my profit is more like 20. Fine by me.

Wise, agreed on rotors, if you neglect the brake pads then rotors need to be replaced. How do you get tires so cheap? I know I spent 1000 dollars on tires for an F150 truck. I have a hybrid I drive for the gigs and I havent checked what tires will cost for that.

There are a lot of videos that break down the actual dollar per hour your earning including all your expenses and at the end of it all what that total is but it doesn't seem like anyone wants to take an account for themselves I would suggest that over 80% of drivers are not people who want to work for a living and so they're happy to drive around in their car and not have to work, if they did have to work obviously they could earn more possibly that would be a stable income but they would have to actually do something in order to earn that stable income these are people that do not want to have a stable income or work for a living of course that option is available for anyone, furthermore I suggest 80% or more of Uber drivers do not have a business license or run their own courier service yet they tell other people that they work for one of these companies when they do not work for that company,if you can earn 20.30 $40,000 after all of these expenses and depreciation of your vehicle and all the other negatives that are pointed out because you really should have earned $80,000 but all you had to do was sit around and never get a job never even probably get dressed properly or take a shower or learn anything of education or skill whatsoever and you get to get all of that money😅😅😅😅
