There's no beating FP100c in my eyes, seemed to scan the best out of all of them as well. Such a shame that it's been discontinued, although I agree with the instax mini being a more convenient format to give to people/carry around, plus the tlr is sure to turn a few heads
i found this channel yesterday and I'm completely feel in love with it. I love how videos are edited to look kinda vintage and they are very well made. I'm glad that channels like this exist. ps. you have a good eye, those portraits are pretty good!
I know im asking randomly but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me!
Yeah it's a bit rough, but they have to recoup R&D costs from reverse engineering polariod's formula. It'll go down in the future. Their camera is what interests me most though.
Hey guys, so as I understand it: the reason Impossible Project film is so expensive is because they are a small company trying to rebuild that format of instant film. If I'm not much mistaken, they bought the old factory where the film used to be made and have had to get the chemistry done independently (they can't just copy and use the exact Polaroid film with the same chemistry and stamp their name on it). Since the Project is still in its "infancy", the prices are high and the shots are very much hit and miss.. It's just nice that someone is trying to breathe life back into 600 format film
Being a Wedding Photographer back in the 80's I used a Polaroid EE 100 (like the 195 but not as good ) Is the Fuji FP 100C the pull apart film for the 195 ?
I really loved everything about this video from the music choice, cinematography, to the editing and photography shots. I was so amazed lol, new subscriber.
For the yellowish tone of the Impossible B/W the solution is quite simple: leave the film under the tongue for the first 10 seconds (so you can walk and not run for to go to shield the film :-) ) I wasted 2 packs before convince myself to wait but results is astonishing (if you have an Impossible Gallery account you easily find some of my shots in there)
I used to own a land camera that I shot so much on but regretfully sold when I was broke. Really want to try that black and white impossible film. Love the glowy melty sorta look that the photographs have.
Great video! Really thorough and fun. I haven't been super careful with my Impossible color film when it's developing to have it shaded and it has turned out just fine - so I'm guessing it is not THAT sensitive. I do believe they just recommend that you keep it shaded and not in, like, direct light.
Thanks! Better safe than sorry i'm guessing, they have a new gen out now too which I just saw in person which is a way shorter dev time which looks really interesting
Yeah, the beauty of instant film photography is you're surprised with the output which makes me love each photo that I take. Thank you so much for this video! :)
Same! I actually prefer instant film photography than 35mm and digital. 35mm sometimes is a hassle for me since there aren't much film developing/processing places in my country. :(
Wonderful video as always! Have you ever tried using a pack film back on a medium format camera? I use mine on my Mamiya RB67, which although doesn't use the full frame it still looks beautiful with a square image dead in the centre. Are the optics in a classic polaroid camera as nice as the glass you'd get on a medium format lens?
I've never used it like that personally, but I'm not too keen on not using the whole frame personally, I would think that the lens would most likely be better optics though
I still rewatch this from time to time. This was the first video I saw by NegativeFeedback and I love it. It is just so calm and peaceful. It always makes me want to take more pictures!
Polaroid 180/195 are the best portable cameras (save the Mamiya press or Polaroid 600SE which aren't portable) for instant photography. The best body, solid focus, sharp lenses. I love my 180. I have a freezer or film I should really get to.
Hi, Nice video and photo, love the content of this channel. Just one question, do you advice me to take the Mint TL70 or the Impossible Project l-1 ? I know the format of the film is different but the price is quite the same. The image quality is better on the l-1 right ? ( i know it's not the most important point with instant film, right ) thanks
I just can't get enough of this short video. I wish you could teach me everything you know. By the way, I accidentally unsubscribed trying to figure out how to get your video alerts because I wasn't receiving them but things are back on track.
Just carry the empty box for the impossible film and push the tops flaps inwards to seal it from the light getting in. When you take the photo and its sticking out of the camera, slide the photo into the box and then pull it away from the camera. That way you don't have to run around. I have the SX70 but the impossible film isn't quite good enough yet. It also doesnt have the frog tongue thing that covers the photo when it comes out. You have to hide it right away. The impossible stuff is way to unpredictable for the money. Ive had quite a few packs where the whole pack was bad and nothing came out. I switched to shooting the wide instax. Its a lot cheaper by a mile and the photos always come out good. The FP100c is the best by far. I luckily bought 20 packs of color and 20 of black and white before they cancelled it. My 195 is gonna be a paper weight after its all gone though.
I do the same thing with the box for my sx-70. Still in a panic to get it in the box though. lol I installed a frog tongue, but it hardly ever works anymore. One thing I've noticed about impossible film is that proper storage and handling helps a lot. I've had just enough good results with impossible film to keep me coming back for more. I agree that the FP100c is the best but bummed about the discontinuation. Unfortunately, I wish I had stocked up before prices shot up. George, im pretty sure the yellowing is just a characteristic of impossible. I know with the color film, temperature influences the color. Warmer temps result in more yellow photos. But im not 100% sure with B&W. I believe ive read somewhere that moisture from the chemicals can cause some yellowing. I tried putting those little silica packs into some packs of my B&W after being shot and I think I have noticed slightly less yellowing (not enough to confirm this though). I think yours turned out pretty spot on though. Your I-1 probably has a more accurate meter than the old sx-70's.
I had the same light leak problem with my lomo wide (those circles are not intended to be there - it might be an issue with this particular model). I resolved it by putting a thicker rubber band around the base of the lens, which eliminated 95% of the issue.
The only review that is based on the photographic results without diving too deep into gear. Great work! For me the FP100c is the winner. It looks awesome!
Great video. I own the Polaroid 500 which I found at a yard sale. The photos have a vintage/hipster vibe. Definitely not color accurate but I still like it. Only problem is that I have to use the impossible film which is over priced in my opinion. Lol
Have you guys ever shot with the 110 film format? I bought a Kodak pocket camera a while back and it came with some old expired film. I've been thinking about looking into shooting with it a bit more but I've found that there's only like a handful of films for 110 left out there. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it..
I got a 90s polaroid and used the impossible project 600 film with it. i didn't know how to use it at first so i left it exposed to light more or less the whole time it was developing. i actually preferred the results of those photos rather than when i got it in the dark. that, and there was hardly a difference.
the impossible is good, but ive found that you need to shoot the entire pack quickly because it they can soon go off. i love the fp-100c, need to shoot that soon. and again great video!!
Great! I recently shot a pack of bnw impossible v2 film and i've to admit that the quality is amazing. Almost look like a bnw silver print, with so many details. Props to Impossible for keeping quality instant film alive (even if expensive). I love instax too but in a cheaper, funnier way, less artistic.
Great review, you are doing some really good content. The FP100c is spectacular, wish Impossible or Fuji Instax was closer but I find its a cheap knockoff and has a long way to go in improving... IMHO. Cheers!
I've been thinking about buying an instant camera, but im kinda undecided. Which one you think its better, instax mini 90 neo classic, lomo instant sanremo or lomo instant automat south beach ?
How were you able to get the Land Camera? I'm thinking about taking the risk and investing into one of them, even though the film for it is discontinued.
I just find the instax mini too damn small. FP100c is beautiful but expensive. Instax wide is my favourite just as the film is readily available, it's about 70p a shot and 1 minute to develop. The instax 210 and 300 have an f/14 lens though so can't really shoot without flash. Might pick up that lomo as it's got an f/8!
amazing video guys. Quick question tho. When you scan your negatives, do you edited them through Lightroom/ Photoshop or do you just dont edit them at all?
The Polaroid 195 is in its own league. It was almost an unfair comparison because the 195 is now a $600+ camera and all the others are under $200. That being said, the 195 is rad. Maybe should have used a 100 or 250 though. I just wish Fujifilm would sell the equipment and everything to Polaroid Originals/impossible so they can continue making the peal apart film. $2.50 a shot is killing me!
so for the fp100c film, since its discontinued where can i buy similar film? (I am terribly new to this, so i don't know if I'm asking the question correctly)
aya hadd you can still get some second hand from analogue photography B/S/T groups on Facebook.. Also check out your local camera stores, they might have some left.. It's probably going to cost you a pretty penny though.. Stay broke and shoot film!
hey guys, great video! i just wanted to share some of my opinions after shooting with all of those films. i have to admit i don't like the instax line, i just don't like their format, for me the frames just look ugly, but they are great films, the colors are really true to life on those (too much for me tho, they just look to ''digitalish'' for my taste, but if that's what you are looking for, they are great!) and they are very reliable and the cheapest of them all for the fp100c, i have the same opinions, except that i love the format that it has, and it produces a gorgeous negative (i mainly shoot this film for the negatives) and without a doubt this is the shapest film of the bunch and my favourite is the impossible film, i love the colors and the format, they are just amazing, i get really sharp results with my sx70, and i have been shooting the newest formula (both bw and color) and i do not shade the film from light when it comes out, i just watch it develop in front of me to be honest, and it looks amazing

I love how dreamy the pictures looks like with the impossible

You inspired me to pick up a 35mm and I always look forward to your new videos ! They are crazy inspirational and helpful ! Don't stop
That's awesome! Keep shooting and i'll try to keep the videos up!
wow, the FP really looks incredible.. Impossible is trying their best tho :)
It's next level! Shame to see it being descontinued
I guess you could day it's...impossible to replicate the FP's look
I know im asking randomly but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account..?
I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Raphael Edison instablaster ;)
this video was sooooo good
those cameras: STUNNING
the photos: KILLER
videography: just peachy, mate!
I've been watching tons of instant camera videos and this is my favorite. So well done. Quite explanatory. And I love the photos.
I really like impossible project's film. I just wish they had lower prices. 23$ for 8 pictures is way too much.
Make them count & they will be worth it
Yeah it's a bit rough, but they have to recoup R&D costs from reverse engineering polariod's formula. It'll go down in the future. Their camera is what interests me most though.
Klara Günther you can buy expired film, but that's largely hit or miss if it'll even develop.

its monopolized so they can raise the prices however they wish, also the market isn't big enough for other companies to invest. it's annoying.
I could watch these videos all day.
loved the color on the instax ones! so helpful, thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Obsessed with your photography
Being a Wedding Photographer back in the 80's I used a Polaroid EE 100 (like the 195 but not as good ) Is the Fuji FP 100C

I really loved everything about this video from the music choice, cinematography, to the editing and photography shots. I was so amazed lol, new subscriber.
This video was so informative and fun. I'm on the market for a new instant film camera and this video came at the perfect time.
so chill
Absolutely in love with your videos!
Your channel has the most amazing vibe. Literally love your personality lol

This was so helpful and lovely to watch! I've been wanting to get a camera for so long now but still undecided.
Love these videos. Nice work.
Would be nice to see the photo comparisons side by side to compare colour etc. Love your channel btw you're doing such great work I'm obsessed 😍😍😍🙏🏻

George, I like your videos and film stock comparisons. If you get your hands on any classic Minolta's please make a video with them. Cheers.
Did you by chance scan the negative or the positive with the FP-100c? Either way, looks incredible.
the impossible is good, but ive found that you need to shoot the entire pack quickly because it they can soon go off. i love the fp-100c, need to shoot that soon. and again great video!!
brilliant video! would be really cool to see you try out disposable cameras maybe!
super helpful! I've never seen instax cameras like that, they look very cool :)
In love with this channel 👌
Great vid man !
Keep it up guys. Good stuff

Well done as always!
Thanks man!
u should try impossible third man record and the sx-70 or maybe the new one, impossible black&red and black&orange.
it SUPERB...
so nice
I've been thinking about buying an instant camera, but im kinda undecided. Which one you think its better, instax mini 90 neo classic, lomo instant sanremo or lomo instant automat south beach ?
Can you share how you develop and scan your flim?
The FP film looks incredible! Why are they discontinuing it?! It's gorgeous!
THANK YOU.

amazing video guys. Quick question tho. When you scan your negatives, do you edited them through Lightroom/ Photoshop or do you just dont edit them at all?
I normally run them through Lightroom just to adjust the crops slightly, don't tend to ever edit them further than that!
try the fuji sq-10 ,, or as i call it fuggy.. and it does a square shape jeff
so which took an over all better image between the wide and TLR mini Instax?
Seriously though, that b+w film looks beautiful! You can't go past the FP-100C though (sadly) :(
Amazing quality Channel!
Wow that's aт awesome review that helped me a lot! Thank you :)
The impossible film (now polaroid originals) has got much better, I highly recommend trying it again.
Would be nice to see the review of Leica Sofort!
this channel is so cool
great photos !!!! you arey good
I love Negative Feedback
Great videos! Keep it up, can't wait for another one :)
Thank you!

one day this channels gonna blow up
so for the fp100c film, since its discontinued where can i buy similar film? (I am terribly new to this, so i don't know if I'm asking the question correctly)
Nowhere yet, and possibly never.
aya hadd you can still get some second hand from analogue photography B/S/T groups on Facebook.. Also check out your local camera stores, they might have some left.. It's probably going to cost you a pretty penny though.. Stay broke and shoot film!
In the beginning you had some sort of polaroid holder? Where can I get one of these?
Tyler Vespa its a box.. Just stuff them in an inside coat pocket whilst they develop and store them in a box when you're home so they don't fade.
hey guys, great video! i just wanted to share some of my opinions after shooting with all of those films.
i have to admit i don't like the instax line, i just don't like their format, for me the frames just look ugly, but they are great films, the colors are really true to life on those (too much for me tho, they just look to ''digitalish'' for my taste, but if that's what you are looking for, they are great!) and they are very reliable and the cheapest of them all
for the fp100c, i have the same opinions, except that i love the format that it has, and it produces a gorgeous negative (i mainly shoot this film for the negatives) and without a doubt this is the shapest film of the bunch
and my favourite is the impossible film, i love the colors and the format, they are just amazing, i get really sharp results with my sx70, and i have been shooting the newest formula (both bw and color) and i do not shade the film from light when it comes out, i just watch it develop in front of me to be honest, and it looks amazing
One day i'm going to have to shoot with an sx-70! Been eyeing up one of those for a long time, such a beautiful camera
+NegativeFeedback you should! its quite sharper than the I-1 (at least from what i've seen) and it is really compact! i usually carry mine in the back pocket of my pants hahaha
In your experience, what would you say is the 'best' or your favorite instant film camera?
that dude was like hey look at me with my Hasselblad camera
I'm sort of new to photography and I'm just wondering how you get the cool tint on the instax film? Is that from shaking it?
Instax mini that is
Laura Judd no, shaking an instant has absolutely no effect. The film (and generally the cameras too) is imperfect, lots of things can influence how well the exposure comes out.. Lots of these shots look overexposed, that's why you have the muddy, grainy shadows. If that's what you meant?
do you know if i can use polaroid paper with a lomo instant?
Can you start putting the locations you shoot at in the description in order!!!!
What park is this? Lovely video!
Hyde park!
what scanner did u use for make it digital?
Is it just me, or the i-1 has a bad flash? I'm quite disappointed with it but it's still a great camera to use in manual mode and stuff
You are so cool, keep on doing videos. #Talent 😉
