As a guitarist trying to make music on my own because I have no musician friends in my area, this is super helpful. I just want something good enough to flesh out my songs that no one will hear lmao. I wanna use this with Kvlt Drums 2
I don't know if you missed what I said before about the bass Amp !! I said before my best friend was in a band here in NC had Peavy rig with the black widow 15 and 18s and really kicked A. Metallic Rush were some of the cover songs and won battle of the bands !!! Love you brother and have a blessed day!!! Hope Peavy still has the black widows still available!!
I got an budget E-kit for my little home studio/jam room. You can have friends over to jam without renting a rehearsal studio. They take up less space and you can control the volume. I wouldn't gig or record with it but for practice and casual/convenient fun it's great.
Nice Kyle vidéo i want a drum but i live in appartement and have to check noise to not disturb the Girl next door! Nice sound for snare hi hat bass drum cool for metal with Mesh pad cool 500$
Most drummers that I know don't like electric drums because of the dynamics and feel. But if you are dealing with a drummer that is dynamically challenged (plays too loud) the volume knob is a handy feature on the electric kit.
Honestly, this is a great kit for someone who is budget minded and wants something just to dabble/practice. Headphones = not waking the grumpies across the hall or next door.
@Kyle Bull guess you're getting a new rug....lol. I definitely noticed a difference when I did the bottom of the kick pedal itself rather than the pad contacts. Also, make sure the stuff they gave you is actually velcro, u probably have some from your pedal board...try a sample piece just to rule it out. If not, time to get a drum rug. Good luck. Love all of your videos!
Can you listen to your music with the headphones at the same time you listen the hits you are playing on the same headphones? Can you record all of it too?
I bought a DED200 for $200 because supposedly they were used however when I got it delivered there were zero signs that it was ever used or the box even opened. So that was a major score for me. The sounds aren’t that bad at all but of course they’re not record worthy for me. For some reason they seam to sound better than the pro you’re demoing here. Either way I got Perfect Drummer on my Mac to use the midi from the kit and it sounds awesome. I had to put my kit against the wall too because of the bass pedal movement.
I've always said us guitarists are all frustrated drummers. Ever go to a practice and during breaks who is it that sits down at the drums (besides the drummer), the guitarist.
Carpet will help out on the bass movement . And if you record I recommend a real hi hat and cymbals with triggers or mics instead of the fake sounding hi hat sounds these donner drums have
#1: those are not drums, that is a keyboard. #2 those Maxie-pads move and feel like the drums have soggy skins. #3 that kickdrum is better then the headless ones, but just as bad because it clanks when it hits the plastic fake kickdrum piece. (You can clearly hear the strike through your headphones) & has a bamboo knocking type resonance. You’re better off with a damn B3 electric organ. I do dig some electric kits but they’re housed in acoustic shells and the kick drum feels and connects like a kick. The hats are where all brands of them fall short, especially barking the hats, the GREASE. I bought my son the Roland set for $2k. to keep him off my acoustic kit. -epic fail, he ended up beating on my cymbals more and moving my drums around , ARGH!!!!!

The screws in the bass kick pad has metal carpet racks on it. A friend and I have this set and we just put a weight behind it.
Those Marshall stacks are life

Electronic drums are cool.
The T-shirt gives +50 to drumming skils
it brought me up to -200

LOL, great point!
they wait for you to start tuning
I like it. Would love to see what you could do with this down the road in some home recording. Keep up the great videos.

play along track be like
"Mom can we have Doom E1M1?"
"We have E1M1 at home..."
7:25 intro to Always something there to remind me
Got the Samus!
I’m pretty impressed with the sounds! Your chops are awesome too! At this price point it’s a pretty good deal.
*EDIT*
Maybe turn up the toms a lot. 😁
If you put velcro on the pedal and any contact point,it'll stick to the rug. That's what I use. I'm in the same boat having drums in the city
for sure, this one actually comes with a Velcro style tape. on the bottom of the kick pad but it wasn't bonding with my particular carpet

@@belligerentamateur Looks like the rug corner itself is moving, too. But yeah, velcro was my first thought, too.

I envy your gear but I admire your dog.
He's a good boy. So is the dog.
the pro is not coming with 4 cymbals ?
I need one, I can put Thai the corner of my living room, guitars and bass hanging on my wall, my living room is my man cave
You have the 200 pro, where is your 4th cymbal?
Sounded awesome, not only can you play a sick guitar you sure can play drums also😊
That D beat didn’t sound half bad!
I think the session kit was the best sounding

@@linkpop1193 I’m using it as a midi controller with perfect drummer into GarageBand, I’m pretty happy with it.
I will watch your videos 3x as much if you'll keep showing your dog :D

Could you add a double pedal?

Dude, you need a bigger room 😅

Wow, those drum sounds are hideous.
Honestly, I wouldn't pay any money for this. Sounds really crappy and cheap. Maybe for kids... I dont have kids. I hate them.
