Yeah, I did a search for these glasses and his video came up. I saw only 22k subscribers I thought it was going to be subpar… wrong. Very well done video!
They changed from Nreal to Xreal because they were getting sued in the USA by Epic games as Nreal sounded too much like Unreal. They even said themselves that the change was to make it easier to release in more regions.
It's crazy how Epic could get away insisting that. Like, they're dissimilar enough, and "Unreal" is also a standard word, regardless of trademark, which would normally weaken their case.

I bought the XReal Pro 2 recently - The most overhyped product I've ever bought. The software crashes, video playback through the spatial app is about 10 fps, bad enough to not be watchable. The Nebula spatial app is not available on Windows. I also purchased the XReal Beam The Battery lasts just 3.5 hours. It gets crazy hot, and the fan is noisy. You can't charge it with a device plugged in - This is a crazy oversight!! Lag!!! The video streaming/casting had a notably lower frame rate, and the movement of the mouse pointer was noticeably jumpy. I'm on a 1Gb 6g network. The position of the screen in space also slowly drifts. I love the concept, but they should have ironed out the creases before releasing them.
@@445Axel it honestly depends on how you want to use it like if you are about to go on a road trip then it would be very useful or like I did if you’re going to the store or to the gym then it’s cool to use but one thing is you need to have the beam or you won’t get the full experience but I do recommend to do your own research as well
It has potential, but I don't like it. The glasses is uncomfortable and squeeze my head. The top projector is too bulky and pointing with the beam sucks because it's always moving and have to be recenterd.
His lasers are always on that's why he wears the special kind of goggles to prevent him from shooting everything in sight, when he needs to shoot he has to touch the side of his goggles to open up the protective lenses. He has to close his eyes when he's not wearing his goggles.
@@Toolsplit no he isn't blinded, but they aren't lasers. He isn't automatically hitting whatever he looks at, because his beams don't move at the speed of light they merely provide a conduit for the energy to flow through from another dimension. Even if the energy moved at the speed of light... seems like a number of points that energy could be slowed down. The "beam" seem to extend out over time instead of other "laser eyes" depicted as instantly in contact with the target as soon as they are used (which would indicate it fires at the speed of light). I'm sure a comic book specific nerd could explain better than me though, but I know that much!

I gave these , the are very uncomfortable, especially if you wear the prescription lenses. Its gard to see the whole screen without smudging the screen with your eyelids. It's a real pain in the ass. Th3 glasses work but the ergonomics suck.
Because the arms are very rigid and especially the part that sits on the ear (on Xreal 2 and pro this aspect has improved) the one on the left side gave way and cracked and therefore the glasses no longer work, and this happened after 4 months. Not to mention the fact that the arms being stiff disturb the ears after an hour of watching. I do NOT recommend these glasses precisely because of these reasons.
@@HERCULE5 That's not a bad deal; maybe check to see if you can find other bundle options that throw in the adaptor or the Xbeam for real value. Also, I think it's probably better than buying a PS Portal, which you can only use with one device (PS5) with limitations such as great internet and no public wifi, e.g., Starbucks.
Just to correct you the original Xreal Airs(as titled in this video) DONT do 120hz they do 60hz max, the 120hz in the Nebula app is only for the Xreal Air 2/Pros
The quality of these videos deserve wayyyy more views

Ridiculous but true, best to avoid the line of fire of big corporates.

True, they have improved them on the Xreal 2/Pro.
That happened to my glasses, left side broke after 5 months but I contacted xreal and they fixed them for free.
Is it 4k resolution or less?
Nope, 1080p but pretty good.
I don't recommend the glasses do to poor customer support and low quality driver updates. My glasses malfunctioned after 3mo of use.
They really need to work on the quality of their updates; they fix one thing and break another.
Thinking of getting these for xmas
Me too. Like tonight maybe. 441 cad. You think it's worth it? Black Friday sale
