Does it look 1080p though? Does the resolution look too low? I mean I've had projectors at 100 inch screens at 1080p and they were ok. 1080p 120hz is a pretty interesting compromise. Are they rain proof? Could I get verifocal inserts and are they light enough that I could use them as everyday glasses, that just also have that screen functionality? Hmm interesting! Could you get an hdmi to usb c for a console or 3d blu ray player, will they be detected as a 3d capable display by a PS3 or blue ray player? Or could you use the usb c that is on the front of ps5 that psvr2 usually uses? Do they work lying down? Do they have earbuds option if you don't want to disturb your fellow commuters with your UA-cam video? Are these going to drain the battery on my phone more quickly? Is there a way to charge my phone whilst using it? Although I consume the majority of my content on my phone, will this be too inconvenient with the wire, and with no input method means of actively watching, and scrolling though content except by going back to the phone itself. When leaning back on a sofa, will the wire push against the headrest and push the glasses off my face?So many questions!
Definitely not since there is no reason not to get the Pros which are seven degrees larger and one hundred nits brighter in a smaller, thinner frame for only one hundred dollars more! Why even release this standard model for such a small difference in price yet huge difference in quality?
@@BXR_Archives but that's a larger fov with the same 1080p resolution. Hmmm. But yes I get your point. Although the pixels per degree must be lower on the pro then.
huhu. refresh rate? resolution? reflections/glare? through the lens? you can't see the whole virtual screen at once?? they must have had one hell of a sponsorship offer, my feed is full with a synchronized release of these shill videos. i watched yours cos i thought it would be the most meaningful and comprehensive with the info that matters, but it seems like they got to you too.

For viewers, the two things to improve would be FOV and more virtual displays (preferably 3). The next step is obviously true 6DoF with apps that utilize it. If I use these with a laptop in the laptop has a higher resolution can that higher resolution display inside the glasses or does it force it to go to 1080? I know the glasses are capped at 1080p but you can still see the the higher quality in video games and have more windows open
From my time with the Xreal air 2 pro’s I can say that with those I would say that using as a developer was a no go just based on the fact that I was using it without the 3 degrees of freedom that the beam add on gave you… that said I am sure these Xreal ones will be a huge step up with the 3dof being built in as that is a MUST to be used as a replacement for a monitor… even still I would say that this should only be considered as a complimentary device to a real monitor as you will just sometimes want the ease of use of a traditional monitor. I would use these on the go though for sure.
@ fair enough, of course I currently have a monitor, I was considering to upgrade vs staying with the one I have and getting additionally the xreal one.
I recently watched one of your videos and you choose a glasses to watch movies even over the vision pro. Since there is a lot of light on both sides when wearing glasses dose it feels immersive when watching movies with the XR Glasses since it's so much light coming in from the sides? Thanks

You should know these things because none of them have changed. He's only talking about the new stuff.
it's crazy that companies were making glasses like this without at least 3dof
You can have it on the device which is where the gpu is installed, or you can have it on a dedicated chip which increases the price of the glasses.

How can you play 3D movies using these glasses? Can you uses side by side 3D movies with it?

Interesting Sebastian. So how does it interact with the Beam Pro?
The only missing thing now is the diopter. Very nice one!

it is forced 1080P bacause that is the max resolution of the microled that this glasses uses

Yes, it's still good. For watching movies this is wonderful.
What is the definition ? 2 x 1080p ? Isnt that low ?
It is not low because you see that resolution on a smaller FOV than on VR headsets. It looks perfectly crisp.

Is it better than the Viture Pro? That one is supposed to be a lot brighter than this one and also has dioptre adjustment which the Xreal doesnt have.
This one here is better. They are all using the same Sony panel.
These glasses are brighter than the Viture Pro and there's a lot more advanced as well.
The diopters are bad for your eyes.
omg! Please tell me they support windows games in HDR and i`m sold.

Definitely the latter since it has the widest FOV and lowest latency by far.

There is no input lag that I could feel! It's really good.

Nope, and that is the exciting part. You can plug this into any USB-C Video Out device and you will get smooth follow and anchor mode.

There is a usbc port, so you can buy a usbc headphone or usbc to 3.5mm adapter.
