Greetings, it was heavy snowing that day, suddenly I got SCBS malfunction, Parking brake light on, Tire pressure on, check engine light. Car was fine, performed the same, next day I got DPF Malfunction. Went to Mazda service and they said they couldnt access DPF software in my CX5 2015 so they need to change throttle body and some sensor to access the cleaning DPF. Could that be true, cuz I had a feeling they want to charge me way more, its around 900$ they sad. What you think?
Hey mate.. My car has dpf and engine managementight in. I thought I blew turbo as I had a cut of smoke in cabin but none from exhaust etc.. The car is in limp mode. Do you think a clean of the dpf could sort the limp mode out... The card has done 160,000 miles.
@@dannywales7971 No you should be able to clean the dpf with the help of an additive and a good drive between 2,500-3,000rpm for about 20 minutes or so should clear the light and allow the dpf to get hot enough to burn the soot
@@Mr330d I ended up going to a place that did a dpf flush.. It wouldn't regen. It had gone passed that point. Apparently the sensors need replacing as they're not telling the car to regen. I tried to force a manual regen with my obd reader that didn't work either. I'm having issues with the car now that the key light shows on the dash and the start button flashes red and sometimes it won't go into hgear... As if there's air stopping it.. Usually leaving the car for awhile sorts it.
@@dannywales7971 that sucks I hope you get it sorted bloody cars they're designing them now with so many extras its more difficult to diagnose ....May be worth getting a local (tidy one) expert /diagnostics people to look at it
I have a 2014 CX-5. The issue is, my DPF light pops up every few weeks and it is so annoying. Initially, whenever the light pops up the mechanic would clear the system… multiple times and the light goes away. That didn’t fix the issue. I found another mechanic who mentioned that the soot needs to burn off. He did that but the issue keeps returning. I noticed that whenever the DPF comes on the vehicle burns fuel RAPIDLY!!! Any pointers???
That's the car trying to regen. When it's trying to do a regen it spits lots of fuel so it can combust and burn out the sort. If it's doing that you shouldn't have a problem. Take a car for a drive for about half an hour and do about 70mph in like 4th gear.. That should help regen it. Try that and see if it works.
Please, can you show clearly where the tube must be inserted to discharge the product inside the DPF? Thank you.
these 2.2 skyactive engines are a pain in the ass!
lots of dpf problems and sensors that need update
very crappy system
Have same problem, sensors need updates, and now on high rpm don’t have power and no warning lights, any idea what’s can be broken

@@dannywales7971 Thank you for this information. I will try your suggestion
@ride all day everyday Hi, Mate. does it work after you DIY clean your dpf? And the "DPF malfunction" disapeared?
