I have the same machine. You’re supposed to turn it on before you pour the mixture in so it going as you’re pouring. Also, I keep my drum in the freezer all the time and I’ve done as much as three in one day. If you clean it right away and get it back in the freezer you should be able to do more than one a day.

Yes! Absolutely you must turn the machine on first BEFORE you add any liquid, otherwise when the liquid touches the frozen bowl it will stick to it and will make it hard to turn and that will eventually break the plastic paddle that is fixed in the center!
You NEVER EVER EVER pour mixture into a machine that is not already rotating! You can end up flash freezing ice on the tub walls and locking your blade in place where it can't move and ruining the entire batch. Major mistake!
@@richardgunn1429 Doesn't matter at all .... if you flash freeze mix to the side wall, the drum can't spin.... there is no mechanical difference between the drum being stationary with a moving paddle, or the paddle being stationary with a rotating drum. Mechanically it's a non issue. That's why either way, you still get ice cream.

The directions say to turn on before adding ingredients . The paddle doesn’t move, the bowl spins around the paddle.
