  • A table saw is a great tool to have, but sometimes making a jig for it can make it a little safer to use. Especially when you need to make a cut that would normally be dangerous. So I build a vertical table saw jig to make cuts on the ends of boards. I hope you can make something similar and enjoy your new way of cutting.

    That dowel as a handle is pretty genius brother. Also the dovetail match fit Accessories are super

      Thanks brother. I had seen other jigs without a handle and they just seemed difficult to use. It is definitely a good upgrade.

    That's so much better than the simple one I made a few days ago. Looks very stable, whereas mine was a little wobbly after cutting ten or so tenons.
    I think the additions of the handle, and upper board have greatly increased the stability of it.

      I believe you are correct. But you should be able to upgrade yours.

    This was very timely. I’m gonna make one of these this week. I think the handle is going to help add some control.

    Very nice and simple jig. I've seen many and I really like this one - The handle makes it over the top!! Now to just adapt something to work with my type of fence.

    Excellent! I’m going to make one. Is there any reason that you can’t put the handle in horizontally?

    Can I use mdf for French cleat?

    • @SpecificLove7
      @SpecificLove7  3 роки тому

      It can probably work but you'd have to be careful that it did not ever get wet or it could swell and possibly fail

    • @inspiringbuilds

      I would recommend plywood for French cleats. Let me know if you need any help.

      Sorry to hear that. Just keep in mind that this jig can be built on almost any table saw.
