regenerator is great, but I don't think they'd add the grass type. Grass/Fairy is a worse defensive typing for the most part. It does have some new resistances, and spore immunity is nice, but it has all the same weaknesses with a new x4 poison weakness and weaknesses to fire, flying, and ice
If Cramorant and G. Slow to count as weapon users by using other Pokemon then I think Maushold counts too, since the Population Bomb attack animation implies the children mice are used to attack
I feel that the older mons on this list (and part 1) that don't have either a signature move, ability, or held item related to their depicted weapon should be given one. Pretty much every mon listed here from Gen 7 and on - except Passimian, and even then it has a semi-related signature ability - have at least one of those, while the Gen 6 and prior mons are just left in the dust. Yada yada, power creep and all, but it would still be fun to give them something to stand out. If they do want to bother going back into the walking FBI investigation that is Hypno, then it could have a "Pendulum" held item that raises the accuracy of its status moves by a flat 20%. Yeah, it still gets trounced by Spore users and the Sleep Powder butterflies, but at this point anything short of a base stat overhaul ain't fully saving it. You'll get your 80% accurate Hypnosis, and you are going to like it. Braixen and Delphox could use a signature move that involves them conjuring up a spell with their branches. Yes, another one. If Greninja can get two on release, then Delphox can get one more four gens later. A move called "Flare Spell" can be a 100 bp Fire type attack with several possible effects. The first one stems from its dex entries mentioning it trapping foes in a fiery vortex, clearly leading to a Magma Storm-like move. And I'm not going to sugercoat it: if Skeledirge can be given a better Mystical Power, then Delphox can be given a 90% accurate Magma Storm. The second option leans more into the "Spell" part of its name, being boosted by 50% while on Psychic Terrain. It would be a bit stronger than Expanding Force, but being a signature move of an otherwise middling performance Pokemon balances that out. And a third option would be to have it raise the user's Sp. Atk by 1 on hit to reference Delphox's _other_ dex entries _and_ lower the opponent's Sp. Atk by 1 on hit to tie it in with its old signature move, Mystical Fire. The trade off there being that it would have only 85% accuracy, being kind of like a Fire Blast equivalent to Torch Song. I'll skip Floette, since it evolves into something that doesn't use a single flower as a held weapon (or is Eternal Floette, who already has a signature move utilizing its weapon), and move on to Passimian. I know it gets a signature ability, but its signature ability is... kind of mid and doesn't relate to its held weapon at all. It could get a held item called the "Nutco Berry" (from warping around "coconut"; Pokemon berry names are weird) that raises its Attack and Defense by 50% when held. It seems strong, but remember that having a signature held item puts you at risk of moves like Knock Off and Trick really hurting you, and those boosts still leave its much lower special defense as an open weak point.
Great comment But I have different opinions on that regard It is better for Hypno to get a signature move related to it's pendulum device rather than an item. ● Pendulum Swig: Status move, 80% accuracy, puts the target to sleep (basicaly single target dark void). Also give Hypno "Bad Dreams". Your sugestions to the Delphox line follow the gen 9 design philosophy of stupidly overpower signature moves, that i personaly don't like (Flower Trick, Jet Punch, Rage Fist). My approach is a bit more tradicional and thematic wise using some oficial and fan artwork of Delphox. Delphox is the only Pokémon i know that has some 'Demon Slayer breathing styles' like moves, so i took inspiration from that. ● Flame Slash: Special move, 85 power 100% accuracy, 2 adicional effects: high critical hit ratio and targets physical defense (Like Psyshok or Secret Sword). Different and niche effect, but not overpower. Also Delphox needs an actual ability, either by giving a different ability or an overhall to it's ability, because Magician is an absolutely useless ability. I have 3 sugestions: 1 - Give Delphox Magic Guard; 2 - Buff Magician to have the Knock Off item removal effect 3 - Give Delphox a new ability (special attack intimidade). last but not (actually yes) least, Passimian. Give it Stiky Hold, because it fits it's dex descriptions. And this "Nutco Berry" thing you already suggested
Cubone's and Marowak's bone clubs along with FarFetch'd's and Sirfetch'd's leek swords argueably fit this criteria. While there ARE held items to represent these "weapons", they've had them since before held items (excluding sirfetch'd), and will use them regardless of if they are equiped with the item or not. And while not explicitly used, Timburr, Gurrdurr, and Conkeldurr's wood, metal, and conkrete beams could easily be considered weapons
How are you going to include the delphox line which uses a detachable stick that it stores in its fur but you won’t use oshawott which has weapons that are also stored on their bodies
(Excuse the inglish) Please, do a part 2 on the wasted potencial video, there are good coments that have other moves and abilities on bad pokémon/pokémon that cant use them well, including mine obout swobat, but it looks lyke you are activly evoiding them (edited: exept the one obout biberel, good for him i guess). I canseld my subscripsion😠
I created a Fakemon called “Ogrunt” which was a Dark/Fighting type Ogre/Oni who carries a large wooden club as a weapon and their social hierarchy is entirely who has the biggest stick wins
Sorry for the meen coment, is Just that i was reply loking forward to my swobat coment to bem read and put on a vídeo, that coment was originaly just to let out my frustracions in a polite way, but then i saw that other similar coments war also beeng ignored, so i lashd out. I didint iven want a vídeo about wasted potencial pt2 that mucho, i rather have a vídeo about new signature heald items, i Just wanted my coment to bem read and put on a vídeo, Sorry 😟
It is a crime, that Braixen doesn't learn Branchpoke naturally, even though it would be useless, it literally has a branch.
That’s such a niche thing that they probably didn’t consider it
The branch automatically gets set on fire when removed from the tail so it could proke without burning
Grass/Fairy Mega Floregess with Regenerator calling it now

@@colonel__cornit would work with its ability if the mega doesnt change that

Side note, at 4:58, dives category and bar power got swapped with scald, minor detail, but something none the less. Also great video
Flabébé was shown without a flower in the anime. So, whoever wrote that pokédex entry about it being a part of her body is a LIAR.
I stand by dwebble using its shell as a weapon

These are all featured in part 1.
Passimian would never obey Nemona.

Broo doesn’t miss, keep it up
My biggest fan, appreciate you
The only one You missed was Mimikew. Also, definitely do a future video on Pokémon that wear clothing, and possible rotom forms.
Wouldn't conkeldurr also count? In the gen 5 pokedex description it says it frees swings it's pillars while in battle
@@zanyludicolo This is in part 1
How about the rowlett line ?
Where Samurott
