All glory to Jitaro, the hero we never asked for, but the hero we definitely deserved
Man, this was a wild run. The biggest twist I wasn't expecting is Excelblem getting so attached to the generics in the final map that he actually plays like a normal FE player plays and actually tries to keep them alive. That was amazing to see. Revelations isn't the best FE game by any stretch, but shit like this proves that it's still capable of being a ton of fun. And even then, Excelblem made money of it, so... who's the real winner, here?
Great to see this send-off to Fates! Here's to you; a game that wasn't really worth any of most people’s money, but was definitely worth all of our time.

Generics are where it’s at and I’m glad people are finally realizing that too.
This is the optimal money making scheme. Viewers spend money because they like watching you suffer, making you loose, which resets the options for them to spend their money on. It’s genius. As long as you have the sanity to keep going you can just throw on repeat and keep making money until either your viewers or you loose patients.

I was just finished rewatching the conquest video and the UA-cam gods decided to bless me with this!
The real question is "can you play Revelation without acknowledging the countless missed opportunities".

I would love to see you do a Bond Unit run of Fates. I never see enough about Bond Units but they’re easily one of the more interesting things in Fates!

They did not follow up on that. I think they’re going for more build customization in general now
I kinda dont... i know writing isnt exactly fes strength to begin with, but good writing with customizable protags seems outside their wheelhouse
@@leaffinite2001 while a self incert style Mc isn't great, I do like the "Main Lord" being able to be effective in any class you want.
Since the lord is force deployed it makes since to allow you to change their class for a little extra replayability factor.
Even if the next game doesn't have open class change, being able to select the lords second class at the beginning like in fates, or their default class like Kris in New mystery, would be good IMO.

Despite its length this video is really rewatchable and I remembered just how insane the last map was, is actually really good plays that really shows the best aspects of fates systems to a degree that it made me realize just how much i can improve my plays, if you have the time watch the vod, at the very least the final map.
This was a cool playthru to watch and listen to even though I havent olayed this game.
While I dont like the 3ds FEs for their plot or map design, I really loved how many viable options I had when I played Awakening, and hearing your ability to use all kinds of options to overcome this challenge made me appreciate how throughly designed these games are.

Excelblem made the biggest fe fates blunder of all: doubting the power of Generic Units. In the end, they aren't actually so generic after all since you can write your own lore for them! Only downside is of course no supports but thats fine since supports are cringe anyways.

Do you have the HD textures downloaded? I noticed it looks a bit better than standard Fates, something I desperately wish I knew how to do properly.
Update: I now have HD textures and they legitimately run better than it did when I had the standard textures.
Even before I removed the placeholder "3DS" DLC files.

Honestly, you should’ve charged more for every time a certain character gets killed, cuz it gets kinda old to watch the same ones die again and again

@@xyannail4678 SoV has some very bullshit DLC. 15$ for the over-classes, that trivialize post Game and for which you'll need the Lords of the Grave DLC, a pack of low level grinding map for Money, items and Exp, another that's the same but for late game, and the Rise of Deliverance pack, which is a very nice prequel to the game giving more information on Fernand, Clive, Clair, Mathilda, Lukas, Python and Forsyth. Also, supports convo for those characters
Rise of the Deliverance is very nice, but a lot of it's content would have been nice to have in the base game (namely the supports convos)
