It's great, only thing no option to use the recording jack when useing a rig set-up when the top handle in the way. BTW price Here in Australia is $499 AU.

Nah, mate. Nearly all of them them have some stereo elements in them except the Ultra-Directional one. It sounds richer than any shotgun in the market by a large margin.
did you use a low cut filter on this recording??

How do you know it is connected to the Sony camera? How do you know the camera is picking up the mic?
What situations should I use stereo? When would I use stereo instead of omnidirectional?

@@MCplayer94 Why choose stereo over Omni for ambient? Or a better example; if I'm hiking and not providing any dialogue, would I use stereo or omni? Should I choose stereo for a waterfall or is a super directional better? Most examples I find are usually not what I record such as music or concerts so I'm having a harder time understanding which mics would be better in my specific situations.

Does this work with the Sony ZV-1? I'm getting different answers from different people. Sony doesn't have this mic listed under ZV-1 accessories and mics.
Check compatibility under the 🎤mic, not cam. It may "not work" recording sound 🔊 digitally, it will record analog. As long as the cam has the Multi Interface (MI).
One more issue, this mic may not be very strong to pick up conversation, interviews at around 6-8 feet away.
No Windshield?
Just checked the box contents or supplied accessories on their website and it shows it comes with a windscreen.
