I love the voice over in this video is so good so professional. Does any one know which microphone or what type of microphone is used as voice over for this video?
Hi Rich, the frequency range of the Sony ECM-M1 in the Ultra-Directional mode, is 40 Hz to 20 kHz. In this mode, the mic can only capture sound within approximately 30-degree width while effectively suppressing the other sounds, by dynamically adapting to the ambient sound in the surroundings. @@SonyEuro the sony alfa 7 III. When i put the Cage and the top handle i see it is imposible to get the microfone ecm-m1 in the MI digital . That's my problem. And for that i want to know if , is there any way do not have to anchor in the MI?
Hi Edgar, the ECM-M1 microphone can only be set to ANALOG. The compatible microphones with this camera can be found here: cutt.ly/IwFFv7Fa. If that's not what you're referring to, let us know more about your query so that we can advise accordingly. ^Mennah
The specs of the mic are great, but I hear the sound as if it is coming from a microphone lice, I hear that the sound coming from a "cheap" mic to be honest, instead of other mics, that you can’t really tell, to give an example, I film weddings, and most of the time I need multi directional audio, I have the Sony a7iii. From the camera’s mic all sounds great except the voices, from the mic all the voices sounds great expect the environment, I hope that makes sense, I want to buy it but it sounds a little cheap to my ears for that price.
Hi Giannis, when recording audio movies at high volume, set [Audio Rec Level] to a lower level. This will allow you to record more realistic sound. When recording audio movies at a lower volume, set [Audio Rec Level] to a higher level to make the sound easier to hear, as shown here: bit.ly/3PlUwj0. Regarding the ECM-M1, continuous background noise is effectively suppressed by a digital low-cut filter for clear sound recording. A low-cut filter is also provided to reduce wind noise, air conditioning hum and other low-frequency vibrations. ^Mennah

Is the superdirectional file a mono or stereo file? Are all files stereo?
Hi there, the directivity of the ECM-M1 doesn't support mono, you can find more about the directivity of the device from here: cutt.ly/cw54BSpX ^Omnia
