Hi i don't know if it's just me but there's a real good feeling when you turn the key's first thing in the morning, it always makes me smile 😊🍻
"the excitement was not there" Best dad comment ever
Your picture quality is really good. It's just like being there.
I love how passionate your dad is about his grass. He should create a skillshare class on the topic.
Hello
That's a cracking idea and i fully agree.👌👍
Two Porsche Boxters a 928 a Healy and a Caterham nice collection 👍🏻 keep up the awesome videos Tom 👍🏻
Video request! Can you dedicate an episode to your gigantic solar system? Love your channel news can’t get over all those panels!
Just keep up those marvellous drone shots of the tractor 🚜 because I like tractors
Love it when we damage a mower or other high speed PTO driven implement, that sudden feeling as your heart sinks is a feeling others will never know 😱😱😱😱😱😱
No kidding 😵
2 things happen - WTF happened to the PTO? And I got too much left to do for this sh!t!!
My Golden Retriever Hugo came to my tablet when you whistled Moon 🤣🤣🤣
It always amazing to hear the ginger warrior's wisdom
Tractors are winning worldwide.
UK Resistance 👍💪💪🙌👊🤜🤛👍
its roasting hot down here in dorset, and getting hotter as days go by
Jeez.. whos car collection! The ginger warrior should be known as the Porsche Warrior!!
Someday in the future you’ll have your field mapping with the gps locations of the man holes complete.
It could be worth plotting your man hole covers on what three words Tom, you could use the app on your phone to avoid them then. 🙂👍🏼
You guys should put some of those bicycle flags on the man holes and save your equipment.
Brilliant! We get crows, ravens, turkey vultures and bald eagles as we work out pastures.
great video Tom sorry you missed Nile Rodgers but that's the curse of the self employed
hope you have a good time in Ireland you should drop in to Louth it has a lot of top end dairy farms and it's just across the water
Your dad as ever is brilliant mechanic vet agronomist his knowledge is boundless if you told us next week he was going off to fix to large hadron collider I'd think that's believable .
keep up the good work
👍
I love watching people mow their grass. I love mowing my own grass because it relaxes me and takes the stress off of me.
Invest in a front mower, means if one breaks you always have a backup, not to mention mowing twice as fast when things are working well.
Would it be a good idea to simply hammer in a marker post at each of your in-field manholes, well, in the hay/silage meadows anyway? Surely a few hours spent with a sledgehammer and a few fence posts would save an awful lot of hours downtime during the busy mowing season, when time is crucial. It'd also be cheaper than repairing machinery after you've clattered a manhole that you can't see?
Lads, I can’t believe they haven’t put markers where the manholes are, what the heck like!!!
It has been suggested many times in the past. Tom says he knows where they are.
@@llttf he may know roughly we're they are but the damage has proved they need marking I know many farmers that can tell me exactly we're there ma holes are but there still marked. Ourz are marked
It is so brain dead I’m thinking it must be staged. Everyone likes honest guys making an honest effort but this is so pathetic it turns me off watching these videos.
I agree. Put a marker on it.
Hitting the manholes must be an hereditary trait! Installing some marker posts might be a good idea since you’ve both hit them. Better safe than sorry! Always enjoy your videos…especially the drone views of your beautiful fields and the surrounding countryside. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Seems like you could use a day-glo orange post permanently set at each man hole. It would sure make it easier to miss them.
Could you put a flag out on the man hole cover?
More work and less talking Tom. lol, Thanks for sharing and have a nice safe day!!
Your Dad has a few beautiful cars around the house. Any chance we could ever get a video of him talking about them
Noticed that too, love a tour!
Always love your videos
That grass is green😊😊😊😊
Best thing to identify manholes is 2x 4 inch round posts, one either side of the manhole then that way you know where the manholes are as you'll see the posts before the manhole
One of few UA-camrs I’ll actually sit and watch and enjoy🙏🏽 always great to see the videos, thought me so much on farming. Nice to see a few classic’s parked in the shed, should do a video on them all! Or a short for UA-cam!
Nice to see you back x
Awhh your dad is ace.
When you aim at something when mowing , make sure it's not someone walking along the road, happened to us when contracting years ago . 😂😂
With manholes being a huge concern; have you ever thought of flagging them with a fiberglass stake with a bright flag on top (about 4' high)?
yeah strange how they don't do that.
That would make sense ffs
I was thinking the same thing. It would be so easy. I'm sure the chopper would appreciate it also.
Cows would break it the first chance they get, anything you can think of cows would destroy it
Just walk the fields and mark all obstacles with white plastic fence posts before starting mowing
What’s not to like we got to see the Ginger guy and the beautiful mrs P keep these videos coming and Happy Farming
I laughed out loud. "ding ding ding....donk"
Think you need your own Blackpool Tower on the farm for straight cuts or GPS .
Keep entertaining us.
Busy days and night oh the joys of farming. I remember them well.👌👍
At one time, I used to mow fields for a building developer, never knew where the test holes were & most of the 100 to 300 acre fields had gone to seed. Some 6' tall, most were 4-5'. Always ran with the bucket down, found stumps, dog kennels, well heads, 10' cast pipe....Field mowing - fun for the first 2 hours, corners can be difficult, if squared, & lunch was always in the truck, across the field. Still had to watch your lines....😄
Love the cars in the garage
Just a thought. Perhaps put flags up around the hazards in the fields? Six foot poles with fluorescent flags?
Went to the GREAT YORKSHIRE SHOW YESTERDAY, 2ND TIME.
FAB DAY OUT.
SOME OF THOSE FARM MACHINERY ARE ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE... WE SAW A MACHINE FOR CUTTING BARLEY... IVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING SO MAHOOSIVE.
GREAT DAY OUT THOUGH
Always glad to see the ginger man in the videos teaching us his wisdom and his love for Tom. As always thank you for my Friday video starts my weekend off right. Be well be you
I would stop by that golf course and get some whole flags. Or tile flags as they call it here in the states. I like that the malone was repairable, and didn't need the whole bottom. I still think the JF is a good mower as it laster all these years, and worked while the malone was down :) I hope the petrol can lubed it :) LOL but doesn't sound so good. Keep extra turtles (Ryan @The rest of the Story) on hand and blades. His family just hauled in 635 bales for all of thier farms.
Tom, I have been a fan for well over a year. Thank you for your videos. I have learned so much about "farming" that I can use. Appreciate it! You are close to the coast as am I an ocean away. I have similar conditions in my paddocks as you do with coastal conditions. You are my inspriation. Thank you for sharing your videos and info from "Father." I have rabbits, squirrels, buzzards (not the same as yours), a hawk, and and occassional eagle fly-by. Appreciate your care with mother Nature. Again, thank you for the wonderful information that you are sharing.
Yay! Mowing!
been over to the farm today had awalk round got some realy good food from the farm shop .saw the highland cows and some sheep goats horses .had a realy good day out was worth the drive from bolton.tom was in ireland so didnt get to meet him but will be back .
Ever thought about getting a wider mower say twelve foot one. We have a swather that is 16 feet wide. I always had a twelve foot for years then for a few years a 14. Then I went to a rotary on and went through several over the years which was twelve. Used he that pivoted in the middle so I could go back and forth on the same side.
So many Porsches knocking about 😀
Top Job Chaps 🤘
Another great video, cutting grass and a visit from the Ginger warrior. That man’s knowledge knows no end, just brilliant! Can’t you do a GPS point on your phone to ID any manholes in each field? It might give you at least a general spot to watch out for. Good luck with the cutting, I hope the rain holds off. 👍🌾🚜
Lot of grass on Tom 👌👍
And I love the notice above the entrance in the sun room ... "NOBODY GETS OUT SOBER".
Nice to have you back Tom, I take it you are too busy for putting out the Tuesdays video. I do miss you. Sad really!
Love video tom
Love it! Cheers from Florida. Super hot here 🏝🥰
Great video Tom looks a good crop of grass great drone footage 👍👍👍🦌
Hi from Ireland
Tom on a krone mower it’s safe cut farmhand made a video on it when you hit a foreign object like a log, stone or a MANHOLE 2 roll pins shear and the turtle spins up on a thread out of the way instead of breaking whatever broke on your malone
A slipping clutch plate wouldn’t cause the engine revs to drop exactly the opposite in fact.
Thank you for your videos, so much fun to see you and your dad working together and the interest your wife has in what you do. Looking forward to more videos.
👍👍Love the video. Although you never want to see accidents, it is interesting that even the very experienced Ginger Warrior can hit a man-hole cover. As you say, “Danger never takes a day off”
So good to see Joanna along on the tractor with you ❤️
our first crop of hay in the US we have dozens of deer in our fields
I wish it stayed that light in Australia during summer for mowing
Tasmania.
New South Wales
Here we GO!
U really need that workshop to be built asap! Any idea when cz that'd make a cracking series of vids, all the best from Cambridge
Yup, I see a new tee shirt in the merch shop, "Watch out for the man holes".
Maybe if was raised up as they were in the fields where I grew up you could not miss them !
You’ll need to get a lesson from Farmer Phil with the butterflys and gps 😜😂
Nice collection of Porsches there, you must have some well off neighbours
If the clutch is slipping and it has the bolt style clutch tighten them and it will stop they wear over time.i spoke to soon the ginger warrior knocked it out for you. We had a fuel line get a blockage and it was killing the power when in heavy grass and it took a little while to figure it out because we changed the filters with no change. We finally found it and took the line loose from the pump stuck a air gun to it and when the tank bubbled it was fixed.
Thanks for taking us along for the mowing. I enjoy that. Sorry had to miss the show.
I love to watch mowing. I used to love to mow our yard when I was younger! I also love the tedding so I hope we get to see a bit of that!!! Beautiful green grass!!
I say Tom, you should make a video driving one of those Porsches lol
Great video as always great seeing you and your dad working together.
Way to keep it P.G Tom 🤣 need to get some fiberglass whip style flag poles for the man holes. Little cheaper than a mower repair plus it will keep the ginger guy happy with you 🤣🤣
wow some nice cars there Tom, are they dads toys ??????? investment????????????
holy cow that's a thick stand of hay, glad you have it, Producers lined up in Texas for miles hauling cattle to the sale barn as it's so dry for them they can't feed their cattle, the drought continues and Joe Hole in WA makes it too costly to buy hay, tripled in price
Great video as always are you looking forward to draw in the grass
have we discussed the cars in your garage?
Moon cam is the best part 😂🐶 you’re not too bad either though 😉
😂😂🐾🐾
Great video as always
Great farming video as always Tom pal, good to see you and your dad out farming together and hope recording in Ireland is going great 🚜👍🏻🍻
Thanks Ed 😊
You need to have the map with you so you don’t make a mistake 😂😂😂
Hi Tom, "If" you worked for me, I'm afrade you would be on your last warning, Too many stupid mistake's / accidents, that cost many many £'s. Next time anything happens this year 2022, it's down the road, sacked.
Loving the video's as always Tom, please just be careful.
Hope your get the JF 245 going again. Strong old mower and have one for the last 20 years and only the slip clutch has given bother over the years. Not as fast as the new stuff but gets the job done....
My mower gone wrong as well, it's a section of drive shaft.
You should screw traffic cones down onto the lid of the manholes.
Awesome video mate love the passion and drive, always happy and putting 110% in, keep it up budyy!
Great video Tom love the smell of fresh grass looking forward to the next video 👍🏻🚜
I do enjoy your videos and your team-troubleshooting a lot. But! You must have plenty of electric fence poles lying around. Why not place 3-4 of those around each man hole and wrap some reflective tape around them?
Morning Tom
Damn, it was nice with a little bit longer video. Keep them coming and say hey to the ginger from norway. Love you all.
That second cut is awesome!here in Kent a second cut is a fantasy. Well done keep going
Great videos Tom, keep the good work up
Can you do a video on the cars at 3:07 ?
Who's Porsche ?
Great job on the mowing again my brother 💙👍🏻
Love the family bond Tom. That’s so awesome to see. I’m coming to Scotland 🏴 next summer. I’m the Texas Longhorn guy Tom
TOM, its common that man tends to make mistakes because nobody perfect in the world to do everthing perfectly... keep calm, Dear .Cool
Another excellent video! ❤️
At least you admit your mistakes that takes a lot to do well done Tom thats one of the great things about you you always admit when your wrong keep up the great work
