Tom, people must accept the fact that their Sunday joint, midweek mince or Saturday Ribeye steak comes from your farms beef animals, lambs too and no doubt pigs should you have any. I am a retired butcher/shop and slaughter man, began on granddads small holding in the 1940's. Perhaps a video of your farm shop, we see the conformation and quality of the beef animals you produce, would it not be out of order to see the cutting room, best regards.
I always need to/ think to do a farm shop video but because I’m on the farm a lot and not in the shop as much. It’s hard to stop and get clean 😂 but I think it’s an important job ☺️
I’m a hypocrite of the highest order. I adore animals and couldn’t bear to know that one was harmed. I’m also the biggest carnivore on earth. I’m so grateful to butchers and slaughter men because I know that I most definitely could not do it. I’d have to live on potatoes 😂

Thank you for making our Tuesday Friday and occasional Sundays throughout 2022, the audio book is deffinetly one of our highlights and thanks for flying the flag for dyslexia we have used you & @0llybloggs as an examples for our son many a time , thanks to Tom for all the early get ups to do the editing to Joanne for all the support she gives him, to all the staff that work the farm and put up with a camera or flown drones throughout the year so all the subscribers have there little pick me ups of watching and learning from your videos and to ginger warrior for his insite and sense of human and to Mrs Pemberton and all the staff behind the scenes !

Thanks for the memories of 2022. Enjoyed the years end review immensely. I have followed along from the beginning. Watching you promote farming in the UK has been a genuine learning adventure for me, a retired 50 year Black Angus breeder, here in the USA. Continued education is a must and you certainly get the point across that practicing what you preach is a must. The Pemberton Clan are simply the best. You have showed us how to laugh and how to cry; overcome obstacles both large and small; and making informed decisions. You are not just making the British aware of how necessary the farmer is to the survival of the UK your making it fun and making sense out of it. The Ginger Warrior's passion for worms , drainage and care of the grass inspired my nephew and his sons to put reforms into place to improve the pastures on their farms. Happy New Year to each and everyone at Birk's Farm.

Would love to see the ginger warrior against a vegan warrior. Farming needs more Toms to show how the British agriculture is run, every job has it’s good and bad days but nothing can compare the dedication and compassion farmers have to their girls. Great Vlog, I have followed for more than a year, so remembered all. Its great that everyone seems to be onboard with the vlogs, much more relaxing for viewers. You forgot to include one of the lows....running a trailer into the brand new barn and breaking that board. Anyways, no one is perfect and people will always find something wrong with what you do. Keep doing you. One thing I would like to see would be a sit down with you and the Mrs. talking about how you meet, dated and proposed.
