That dedication to wake up at 4am everyday and your persistence in pursuing the shots as you envisioned /salute. And thank you for showing the reality of the situational issues that can happen. Not just about the looks, Addlyn is such a good sport in following through the rough schedule and the climbs and her character really carry through in your shots. The full duration of the video was very enjoyable and went past in no time. You should consider doing more of these long format ones!
People often don't realize the amount of work each beautiful shots take. You gotta go all in on this thing and even then a a lot of it depends on uncertain factors you can't control. Appreciate the talent and immense amount of effort every shot takes from both you and the model. great results. stay safe, keep on shooting.

Mannn Kohki, I swear seeing your shots in this vlog sparked the same kind of excitement and inspiration it did when I first started following you 5 years ago. I just moved back to Japan and finally took the leap into full time photography/videography, plus I'm about to buy a van so I can roadtrip all year long, so I'll definitely be hitting some of these spots. Hope to shoot/travel with you one day man!

i love how you both instinctively stop what you're doing when there's an opportunity for an amazing shot, especially when you stopped in the middle of a snack to get the train shot lol thanks for the inspiration.
I went to the Torii gate in the sky as well and it was super full with people, I'm amazed you had it all to yourself... And props for walking up there, I took the road up the mountain with the little kei car we rented and that made it a lot easier, but it's not for beginner drivers!
I love this video! Now we all have a free 5-day itinerary for Japan. I'm just really curious, can you fly a drone there? I haven't seen a lot of aerial shots in Japan so I'm confused if there's a law about it.
Haha thank you! Yeah this itinerary would be perfect. Loved every spot. You need permit for drones but islands like Ibuki I think you can just fly they won’t care. Technically it’s illegal and there are grey areas so it can be confusing.

How many cameras are you using, looks like you’re vlogging with a dji osmos and sometimes smartphone, and then switch to leica for photos, and even some b roll with a dslr ?
I use a Sony A1 for my vlog/ brolls and sometimes my Xperia or Addlyn’s iPhone clips. I use the Leica m11 and A1 for photos :) Also my instax 500 AF best camera ever
