@@dennisjoosen7899 thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the video 😊
I was an exchange student at Hokkaido University last summer. During my time I went to Shiraoi many time and visited Grandma's. It's so heart warming to see it featured here!
wow what a small world! I was lucky to chance upon the restaurant and had a very delicious meal
@@ririregine I think Hokkaido is too underrated in Japan! I love it there, and Shiraoi is such a peaceful town.
@@jerryqin4459 hey in Which Part of hokkaido did you live, maybe in Sapporo? If so would you recommend living there? I want to attend a Language school but i cant decide in Which City i‘m Stuck between Sapporo and fukuoka. Any advice?

The whole vibe of this video is so nice. I have never been to Japan before, but I would love to go!!
@@fleurjoesten thank you for your kind comment! 🥰
Truly beautiful part of Japan. I just got back on the 22nd. I rode my bicycle from Chitose to Wakkanai through the mountains (Furano, Asahikawa, Biei etc), then from Wakkanai to Sapporo on the coast in 3 weeks, camping almost every night. July was rough on me, it rained for a week straight, then it was extremely hot, no in-between lol.
@@2WheelsGood.01 wow you’ve travelled far on your bike! It was June when I was there so I haven’t experienced the proper summer heat in Japan yet, but I’m sure it’s still beautiful all season
@@ririregine June is ideal. Beautiful video btw!
I've just discovered your videos, and am enjoying them immensely. My brother and nephew recently returned home to Canada (British Columbia, near Vancouver where the steam clock was from!) after their first amazing trip to Japan. I've sent them this video because they didn't get as far as Hakkaido. Next time, for sure!
Thank you, I'm really happy you enjoyed my videos. I would love to see the Gastown steam clock in Vancouver one day!
tea + this video, i love it. never stop doing this video style! its so calming!! new sub for sure
@@alexandrab7242 ooh I love watching UA-cam + tea, thank you for the lovely comment 🥰

Interesting… this reminds me of my trip to the Sinnoh region when I was young. Sapporo looks identical to Jubilife city when I visited.

12:44 actually curry is a traditional indian dish , yes may have been brought by the british but thats because they took it from us
you can check on the history of chicken curry on google :)
Every Japanese knows curry is originally from India. You can find both Japanese and traditional Indian style curry in Japan. I love both.
Enjoyed and subbed. Loved from Boston...

Hi there, loved Hokkaido already from your video.
Just wondering if driving is easy in Japan as a tourist?
@@Vannguyenngungok thank you! Yes I would say it is in Hokkaido, the roads are wide and navigation like Waze is easy to follow.
can u share which hotels u stayed at? im need to find places to stay while im visiting
I stayed at Hotel Gracery Sapporo, it's very close to the train station
Whats the song used from 9:23- 11:17?
hello! can i ask what camera did you used to film?
@@aiyagonzales hi! I used an iPhone 13 Pro :)
omg how to get to the sunset spot at Lake toya you were sitting at?
I believe it's this spot over here: maps.app.goo.gl/9Gf7Qh3YzDJVG1Sh7?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy
but there's nice views all around Lake Toya
whats the temperature in hokkaido during summer?
I went in June and it was still slightly cool, drops to around 17 at night, and around 23 in the morning.
what is the name of the song in your video intro
@@datshitt3089 it’s I’m a ghost by Victor Lundberg
AT 55 " of clip, you place JR ticket in a small box ỉnfront of you, I recomend this action ís so dangerous because you may forget it when you arrive a station,,,,,, It make you trouble
我决定在我的视频里也添加背景音乐,这样或许更有趣一些
sometimes its hard to find the right music 😅
did you go to hiri hiri odori or hirihiri 2?
@@RedBanker hi, I went to Hiri Hiri 2
Hi RL! Is it cool or hot in your trip?
Hi! It's slightly cool, you can walk around and it feels very comfortable, but you don't need a jacket (hope that makes sense?)
Ils font que manger....
What camera do u use?
I used an iPhone 13 pro to film :)
@@ririreginehi do you use stabiliser?
@@easontan3942 nope just hand held, the phone is pretty good at stabilising
Not enough food...dont be silly and visit Hokkaido without trying a lot of food
