@@FoodZealot Thank you for making rotis accessible to me again! After chemo and surgeries a couple of years ago, I still have little energy and cooking for myself is mostly difficult and unsatisfactory...I don’t have much appetite and what I do think I’d love to have is often too much to manage to make😜! I think I can do this, even if it takes me more time. Thanks again-I’ve really missed rotis. I have subscribed and will look for your other recipes. You are very kind.

@@FoodZealot great receipe - like many i have no wish to knead roti.
This is basically a crepe or pancake receipe i think.
I can imagine how it tastes with chicken curry (my fav).
I am going to try it today self🎉

Wow... this is amazing and it really works! They were all puffed up and I used all purpose flour. It must be hard for you that some call you a liar, because the recipe is very good. What matters is the exact temperature and thickness of the batter, just as you explained it.
Thank you so much for your kind words!! I am so glad that you tried it out. Please check out my other recipes as well and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for valuable comment ❤️
@@FoodZealot I've made them several times now and love them. So easy to make and the taste is so good!!! This really is a recipe for lazy people, and guess what... that's me, haha. Very difficult to keep them, We eat them all inmediately. So yummy.
@@irene23041 I am so glad that you shared that with me!!❤️
Nice stay connected
Thank you so much 😊
Hi rotis came really well ,is that a ceramic non stick pan which ur using
Yes dear. Thank you for watching!😊
Sahi ! Very well explained . Can we use this roti for making veggi wrap ?
Thank you so much dear for watching! Sure you can but I will upload a wrap video soon! It’s a lion bit different than this. The batter can be the same one but the process is a little different! Please stay tuned!👍❤️
No
It reminds me of chappati and not roti so much-- only because roti has flaky layers. Still nice to have a quick bread recipe. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Nice recipe 👌
Thank you so much dear 😊❤️
Love the idea of a liquid batter, thanks. I'm going to try it in my NutriBullet adding water and liquid in first with 1/2 quantity. Made 4 x 1/4 cup small wraps.
I tried it and it worked perfectly, the only difference I didn't sift out the meal so it didn't puff up but was still soft, pliable and no lumps.
Thank you for trying it out. Next time don’t run NutriBullet for long time. As soon as it combines stop the mixer. Also rest the batter for some time. Did you press and rotate with spatula? Hope it puff up next time. ❤️
i always had problems with hard chappatis now its gonna be a smooth and soft ones
Thank you so much! Please check out my other recipes as well and let me know if you have any questions! Thank you for your feedback ❤️

How long does it take to cook and is it ook to prepare any sauce on them?
Hello, thanks so much for this great idea.
I wanted to inquire about using both whole wheat flour and gram flour for this method, will it work.
Thanks in advance
Yes with whole wheat flour it will puff up if your batter consistency is right and follow my exact steps but with gram flour or besan you still can make it ( it’s called chilla) but it won’t puff up due to gram flour texture but still it’s very tasty and worth trying. Thank you so much for watching and asking this question ❤️
This is like making pancakes.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
Thank you so much dear friend ❤
I tried. First one was great, but after that only about 40% of them puffed up. Weird. The batter must be ok if some did.
In the end i think the pan was often too hot when pouring the batter in. Lots of small bubbles would appear and i quickly learned that one would be a dud. Letting the pan cool to a low heat before pouring the next one helped, but i still had the odd dud
Delicious yummy 😋
Can I replace water with milk for richer taste thanks
Yes you can but if you add milk it would not puff up but still it would taste good! Thank you so much for your question😊 if you like it please subscribe and stay tuned for more recipes like this ❤️
খুব সুন্দর হয়েছে রুটি
Thank you so much ❤️
Quite skeptical how it also forms a balloon like regular roti. I have never seen a pancake balloon like that. Good experiment for tomorrow
Thank you so much! Let me know how it turned out 😊
I'll be making your chapati.unbelievable.55

Sopapillas!
Thank you so much 😊
That is a great recipe. Are you using Pillsbury Rava?
Thank you so much 😊 I used regular wheat flour.
Hi, would this still yield the same consistency if I use all-purpose flour? Because that's what I have right now. Hope you'll read my message. Thank you
Hi Persia! Yes you can definitely make it with All Purpose Flour! Please follow my video minutely. It will definitely come out perfect as it’s shown in the video! Let me help you by highlighting some key factors
1. Liquid dough(batter) should be runny consistency. Please watch carefully the consistency of batter I showed in the video.
2. Rest the batter at least 10-15 minutes. The more is better.
3. Sieve it through to ensure there are no lumps.
4. Pour batter in a medium heat pan. If the pan is too hot, you will not get a perfect Roti.
5. Once you pour the batter, do not touch it until you see bubbles. Same with the other side.
6. Press it, rotate it and flip it until it completely puffs up.
Hopefully it helps. Let me know how it turned out. Thank you for watching dear and happy cooking 💕
@@FoodZealot Wow, thank you soooo much for responding!
Would this work with gluten free flour?
I tried making this liquid chappaty but in God’s truth it does not come out the way u do it. It just turns into a paste. Though I followed exactly how u prepared it. So now I went back to knead the dough n roll into chappaty pls explain to me
Can't wait to try this recipe. The frustration is the American airy-fairy measurements. WTF is wrong with grams and mils? >95% of the world's population seem to get by on metric.
Thank you for watching and liking my recipe. Try it out and let me know how it turned out. 😊
Bahut Jabardast Banai hai
Hi! Do you know if I could make the batter, transfer it to a plastic bottle to use maybe a few hours later or a day later? I'm thinking for camping
Yes you can but consistency should be right! Thanks for asking! if you like it please subscribe and stay tuned for more recipes like this ❤️
Thank you for sharing the recipe! I tried it today but the liquid dough was sticking to my nonstick pan, what do you think went wrong?
How long did you rest your batter? Also did you follow the consistency I showed in this video? Most importantly, when you pour the batter don’t touch it about 3 minutes...Let the batter dries up. If you are using non stick pan after 3 minutes roti should come out of pan easily...Please follow the steps I have shown in the video minutely , you will definitely get a good result next time! Thank you so much for watching!😊❤️
@@FoodZealot I rested the batter for about 10 minutes. The consistency was good too. I think I tried flipping the roti before 3 minutes. Thank you for the video.
Yes, when you pour the batter make sure the heat is low but after that you can turn it to medium.
It's just Like a pita bread.
Yes but thin
Will i get the same result in a Futura pan
Is it non stick? Only works with non stick pan
Wow,roti from a liquid batter?! Interesting. Have to try this. I’ll call it the lazy & quick method of making roti😁my kind of method😅
Thank you so much 😊
Can i use all purpose flour instead?
Yes you can. But please check out the consistency in the video. Put the batter in low heat and then turn it to medium And don’t flip it over until you see bubbles. Hope it works! Thank you so much for watching and please check my other mouthwatering recipes and stay tuned for more!💕
I made these. They turned out perfect and taste great, but they don't taste good the next day or reheated. Can you recommend the best storage method?
Did you reheat on the tawa? Please don’t use microwave for reheating
Are you using self rising flour
No just regular wheat flour but you can use all purpose flour too
