Wow. Thanks for sharing with us Ohio Valley folks. Ours was about 92 percent in between some passing clouds. Pretty cool! Nice to see so many lovely folks having a wonderful time.

My husband and I went to Millinocket. It was a once in a lifetime for us. So glad we went - we traveled from the midcoast.

Lucky Houlton was in dead center. Fortunate the weather all came together just the right way. So many planes at Houlton International Airport and tons of "day trippers" made the trip to Houlton Maine, Aroostook County for a memorable time! 🟡⚫🟡

The weather was the big unknown and then all was sunshine, clear skies and time for the totality @TimSingletonearthtiger !
Complete disappointment in Buffalo/ Niagara Falls. Overcast. Our governor was warning us to stay off the streets and to expect 1,000,000 visitors. An hour later clear skies!
Wish you could have been in Houlton... clear skies, bright sunshine and listen to the crowd clapping, shouting, laughing, singing.. a lot of emotion!
Or this could have been a mass blinding event sponsored by the Chinese company who made those flimsy eclipse viewing glasses !! Also… does anyone know what the carbon footprint was of this mass hysteria event !? Took 12 hours to make what was usually a 3 1/2 hr. Drive from the north country back to the flatlands !! CRAZY !!
Lucky to live in Totality. The solar system delivered the event to Houlton Maine. Last place in USA for totality made us a popular place for day trippers, the sky kings in the audience who flew in!
