Nationwide, untold thousands of people travelled an insane number of miles to witness this amazing even in person. Yet I have spoken with 2 people today that didn't even come out of their house to look at it. We were all right in the path of totality. Several friends and I set up in my front yard, the only thing missing was popcorn. Life, you only get one, get off the damned computer, put down your phone and LIVE.
Absolutely incredible. I myself was also in Houlton at the time!! Seeing totality is absolutely stunning and jaw-dropping. I myself completely lost my marbles when I saw full totality.
I live in PA and drove up near Erie. We had totality but unfortunately clouds blocked it for the most part 😢. It was still awesome to see and it looks amazing on that video. I didn’t have a way to film it properly but I did get some shots through an old welding lens.
Hard to not believe in an intelligent design when the moon is 400 times smaller than the sun but 400 times closer to the earth. That's an insane coincidence.
What an incredible experience. I’m glad I could watch this event with my family. U have no words to describe how awesome this was.

I thought you're not supposed to look at it or you'll burn your eyes?
@@Yesica1993 True, but the people that did that are blind now, so they can't see my comment. LOL
@@bigbossimmotal Ah, well!

I cannot explain how much cooler it was to see first hand.

Thank you so much!
I filmed it pretty good in Upton! Video is finally up on my channel.
I was in Milinocket for this momentous occasion.
I was just near there, at the bridge by Abol Campground on the Golden Road. It was unspeakably incredible. Brought tears to my eyes.
Greetings from dover!!
Amazing
It's crazy how we can now say that we saw the corona with our naked eye.
