Not the leading up to it or after, but the 3 mins of totality were 3 mins that Idk if I could ever describe to someone that didn’t see it. It was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen! Idk how else to say it
I cried so hard. Extremely Emotional. I drove from California to Poplar Bluff Missouri And it Was Absolutely Amazing And not able to Describe the Emotions. Happy Tears and then Sad tears. Absolutely Phenomenal
Thank you for sharing that! We saw 97% today at our spot in Texas and it was truly amazing!

Fantastic. We drove from Saginaw mi. Down to Ohio. Oh my goodness. It was like an exodus out of the mitten. But it was so very worth the trip. The whole world was united with one moment in time. For one moment in time.
I couldn’t say it better. I came from MI too, went to near vanwert. Not sure where in OH but it was the most beautiful experience I’ve been to
Hardly, keep telling yourself that as you drive back up there. Visit Dearborn on the way back and have a Kumbaya with them
@justjiggin11 Surely you're not this dense? The "whole world" was not "united", the eclipse was only in parts of the Americas! Use your brain before you type.

Well said
Experienced it from Akron OH. Absolutely magical experience even after 7 years...
It was so amazing, it’s making me emotional just to think about it
Travelled 650 miles to Lampasas, Texas. The most amazing one I've ever seen. Clouds all morning and then...a hole in the clouds just before it started. Very emotional!
We drove from eastern West Virginia to Linesville Spillway PA to see it! The clouds cleared away from the sun long enough to see the total eclipse completely. I saw a long baileys bead but didn’t realize at the time what it was called, but thrilling anyway. Just arrived home from the trip. Traffic n the main highway was horrendous both ways. Fantastic, beautiful experience! My uncle and aunt drove from Arizona to Texas- over 400 miles!
Went to Noblesville IN with the hubby. So glad to see Totality in person with everyone at the Federal Hill Commons. Was utterly amazing.
Experienced totality in Moscow, ME, along the Kennebec River. Absolutely awe-inspiring and life-changing. I sincerely hope I have the privilege of witnessing another total eclipse. 🙏
Everyone was huddled together and crying ❤😂 it was really remarkable.
Can you imagine how terrified our ancestors were. I felt their trauma in my soul. Lol. It was a little scary feeling.
@@GrandmaShellLive Pathetic to be crying over this. Too bad people can't put that much energy into things that matter.
@NightOfCrystals So, what the hell has changed?
You know what else would be worth witnessing? Humanity united.
Things like this make us pause and realise there are bigger things in the universe than our petty squabbles...
It was something out of a dream ❤ #Totality4Life
In the sky’s grand stage, they meet and part. Sun’s fiery passion, moon’s gentle art. Eclipsed in love, a fleeting embrace. A celestial dance, in time and space.
Lovely
Basically they have s3x
The 'dance' is actually between Earth and Moon.
Loved the positive vibes from humanity today
Agreed

would be nice if the planet would come together. For all the wars and disagreements, we ARE ALL STUCK on this ISLAND in space, and I don't think we have the tech or resources to get off this planet and travel very far.
@@Catinbox123-ne4le So true, yes, we are stuck no exit but through death and the end of the world.
What a once in a lifetime experience! as we ride our home. The great planet Earth hanging in the infinity of space revolving, rotating in the solar system.
It was really something incredible much more beautiful then i was expecting and its not only what you see it is also the way it make you feel as you are seeing it! It was trully wondeful!
I have never experienced such a peace.❤❤❤
Perfect view from Erie, Pa. It was so amazing to witness. Seeing it on tv didn't do it justice. Absolutely beautiful and simply unbelievable.
Hi! Mexican here! Travelled 13 hours in a van with a bunch of friends to watch it in Cuatro Ciénegas, Coahuila (northern Mexico). My sister watched it near Montreal, Canada. Great to share this as humans and our particular consciousness. This life experience is truly indescribable. ¡Abrazos a todos!
I saw the total Eclipse in Missouri 🙏 It took my breathe away.
It was an experience I have never seen before . I feel so different God is great ❤
I’m in Taiwan. Thank for the great report so I have the chance to watch the eclipse and feel the excitement of all the people on site.
The cloud's actually made it to where you could see every detail. Even the cell phone got great video And the sun dog's in the clouds around it all. WoW!! Those colors! Dallas Tx
Breathtakingly beautiful! Thanks for sharing the lovely video! ☀️🌕🌑
This eclipse, being so phenomenal, caused no structural damage anywhere. Nice.
I was in Burlington, VT. It was quite a spectacular sight to see
We come so far as a people we used to see solar eclipses as bad omens and now we celebrate these miraculous events
From July of 1969, to April of 2024:
Leave it to The Moon to bring humanity together, albeit for one day.❤
It was actually the legacy media that did that. Had they not, most wouldn't have known, nor cared. Most don't even know the significance.
@3:00..that's the perfect view I witnessed from 1:58PM to 2:08PM from my carport my iPhone12Promax in vain shooting it..got teary-eyed this was once in a lifetime experience

Video and photos don't do it justice, it really is a surreal thing to witness in person
My grandson was born, and my dog died, all in one afternoon. A wicked day I'll never forget.
I died and was resurrected under the eclipse
It was beautiful ❤😊
ONCE AGAIN. ABC. MR.DAVID M. Did not disappoint what eloquence, describing the experience of the eclipse thank you very much Our family enjoyed watching and will continue. Watching your news broadcast ❤
I watched this from Saxby, not far from Montreal. Words fail something this spectacular. My father and I, and some very kind locals who let us use their car park, got to see 3 minutes 10 seconds (ish) of totality, it was utterly breathtaking.
it was overcast where I was, but it was cool watching it get totally dark in a few minutes and then light again while somebody was playing moon river in the background
My husband & friends from church drove from Mn. to Branson, then down to about 100 miles into Arkansas. We viewed the total Eclipse, & a very kind woman highway State Trooper stopped to check on us. A true sign that there are alot of very good people in our USA. The birds started treeting just before the total Eclipse. Temp. dropped, was almost like dusk. It was worth the trip. Yes, God is up there!! Peace on Earth! .
I was at Lake Champlain today and witnessed the special moment. It was amazing and glad that I saw it once in my lifetime!!
Was it completely dark?
@@pm110978 There was orangey light all around the horizon. The sky goes a deep violet-black. The only light is from the solar corona and the horizon, so it's about as bright as a quarter moon. Quite dark.
1:53 This almost captures what I saw. The corona was at least three sun/moons wide all around, and there was a bright purple solar flare at the bottom shining brighter than Jupiter. Amazing.
So magical
I saw a comet fly over my car, in scotland a few years ago, the feeling was unbelievable, it was massive and colours incredible

I’m from there so my family saw it, but I’m away at college so I didn’t see the full eclipse. They said it was really cloudy but it did look pretty dark. Apparently some of the animals thought it was night
I witnessed this. I highly recommend everyone travel to see this if you can at least once in your life.
Help me understand why the moon and sun are going south towards north, instead of their usual travel direction?
Observed totality with my sisters and dad from the shores of Lake Erie at Nickle Plate Beach, Huron, OH. Absolutely incredible. I saw totality in 2017 in Salem, OR but this was even better! The solar flares!!!
Shadow traveling 1600 mph. Interesting.
What do you mean?😊
LIGHT IS GOD. The speed of light is GOD. Strange isnt it, that the infamous line in the BIBLE, "Let there be light", and "There was darkness over the land" is so rarely discussed in terms of science. For GOD is the GREAT SCIENTIST

Great piece! It captured a lot of the awe and emotion of the day. I was there, too, at Lake Champlain. It was my second total eclipse (first in 2017) and it left me just as stunned as the first one. Literally breathtaking to see this in person. The videos and photos don’t do it any justice.
God is an artist !🙏🏼
Yes! 🙌🏼
I saw it in totality in Waco, Texas. It was beautiful, awe-inspiring, and breathtaking. Truly an emotional experience. Very cathartic.
I always sleep during the ECLIPSE, now I'm curious, maybe I'll see the next one. Wow, Praise The Lord
Hallelujah 🎉
sadly, it will be decades and THEN, one will PROBABLY have to travel, depending on where one is, although it is BEYOND worth it.
I didn’t understand all the hype but camera’s definitely could not capture what you can see raw. It was quite emotional and the most beautiful thing I’ve seen. The moon was so big and the sunlight shining out was spectacular. The best experience I got to have with my family, I wish I could experience that joy again.

I wish I had travel to Texas or Mexico. I watched it from the Hollywood observatory only partially but it was still amazing
Wow, There is God indeed. This is amazing. I am so moved here in Europe by watching this. This was how it happened when Jesus Christ was crucified, total darkness. If you do not believe in God, this should open your heart. Jesus is surly truly coming back soon. The mercy window is still open, soon it will be too late. God bless you all. God is faithful in His signs and wonders.
Yes amen.
The total eclipse is amazing, but where I lived we could only see a partial eclipse.
I saw it at my front yard from Austin, scatter clouds but when time of totality I saw it clearly. Once in a life time it's magnificent.
It felt like a holiday that day
Yeah, definitely.
I was one of 31+ million to see it. I loved it.
Me too, in Southeast Missouri.
I was In Rochester and it was unfortunately very cloudy so we couldn’t see the corona but it still got dark. I’m bummed that we couldn’t see it but atleast we saw something
Same thing just east of Toronto. Apparently the clouds did thin enough to see it for a few seconds in Hamilton and Niagara Falls.
They're so lucky to see total solar eclipse. So mesmerizing beautiful
Who else missed the total coverage because of the disrespectful clouds getting in the way?
We got lucky in Terre Haute, IN. The cloud cover came through about 3 hours earlier than forecasted. We got a totally unobstructed view of the most spectacular event I have ever seen. My condolences to you for not being able to have the same experience.😢
