As a person who owns a trucking company in USA and now owns a business in Ghana i approve this message. Only few people make their money legitimately... and once you understand this you'd just carry yourself and go back to America 😂😂😂
True because most Ghanaian will not survive if they were to make their money genuinely.
@botwedraughtsclub8031 I actually never looked at it that way, but this is very true and on point
Very true. Those who go to church ( am not talking about christians) call it grace but its all corruption
Not to offend anybody. But one thing that I have noticed about Ghanaians and the people of Ghana is they have a strong push back against any criticism or statement that does not favor them be it constructive or otherwise. Okay so as somebody who is actually building a real estate property in Ghana and trying to invest in real estate in American I believe I have a front row seat to have an input on the matter. First of all, the size of the Ghanaian economy isn’t big enough to produce billionaires in Ghana. When we look at economics. in a country of 30+ million people with an economy of about 70 billion dollars, it doesn’t make sense for people who’s primary businesses are in Ghana should be earning hundreds of millions of dollars. Unfortunately at this very moment there are no billion dollar companies or enterprises originating from Ghana that’s first of all. Secondly a country cannot cater to only the 0.005 percent of the population and leave the rest of the 99+% people in adjunct poverty and hope to expand its economy. That doesn’t work , there won’t be enough people to support a healthy and growing economy. The reason China was able to develop rapidly, America. Or even Europe was able to become rich is because they make sure to spread out wealth to more people within the economy. Ghana catering to the ultra rich and foreigners is the most unsustainable move that any leadership in a country can do. They need to figure out how to reduce poverty by certain margins and create a healthy middle class economy for the average citizens who will be able to hold and grow its economy into the future. Anybody becoming ultra rich in Ghana at this point isn’t solely becoming rich completely legal, with the exception of few individuals and companies who actually fill a demand and need. The other thing is as a builder who tracks every single cedi/dollar that I spend, houses in Ghana should not be costing 200k+ dollars to purchase. Ghanaian who build are looking to make over 200% percent returns on invest and that leaves room for irregularities and illegalities to step in. There needs to be regulations on how we price lands, and how much profit margins people can make from building and selling. We need to build and create an economy that bring the average citizens into participate not to sideline them and have them spectate and that is why there is so much dishonesty and thievery going on in Ghana because if you don’t resort to those things you won’t be able to survive. The other thing is these outsiders are being over glamorized and the perception is they are all rich and can afford these things, however that is very far from the reality of the matter. The majority if not 90% of the people from abroad do not have the amount of cash that these Ghanaians think they do. In abroad most people are living off credits and loans. Their bills are high and their incomes are not so big that they can save 100s of thousands sitting in their accounts to just come and buy houses in Ghana. In American a lot of people do not even have enough in their savings to cover 6 moths of bills. People that travel to Ghana most likely are borrowing the money to visit Ghana or save up for a long time to come to Ghana and have fun. I think Ghanaians need to put their citizens first and focus on building a country for the citizens and stop looking outside to save the country. These outsiders do not have enough interest or desire to do for the country that a born and bred citizen would and that is my strong sentiment. Ghanaians are plagued with poor and evil leaderships that come to do more harm than good to the country. But I do not blame any individual or government per say, I blame a weak and immature constitution that needs to be amended to stop centralizing power and actually have rules that effectively punish wrong doings rather than turn a blind eye to it.
You have spoken well my brother
Big man you said it all.... You are an asset, our leaders are stupid. I'm serious...
Look our leaders have weaponized poverty in order to keep the ordinary Ghanaian in check
It's because Ghanaians have been raised to be hypocrites and pretenders. Majority of Ghanaians know the truth was being told with regards to the real estate bubble in Accra but they would prefer to close their eyes, mouth and ears due to their pretentious and hypocritical upbringing.
Crying as I read this.
Wickedness is real!
You've said it all Headless👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. I heard most of the sold-out apartments are empty mpo.
90% empty
So why don't they bring the prices down so that they will genuinely be sold out
.I don't understand why the apartment should be empty. I wanted to buy a unite of the Solarium at OSU with my spouse just months after it's completion and we were told all units had been sold out..I just couldn't understand

Criss Waddle Dey one side Dey laugh 😂
Hard truth. It's a fact. Reason most people are rich yet unable to invest in industries to reduce unemployment among the youth. Most rich cannot genuinely account for their source hence unable to open up on their wealth.
Long overdue
I saw the video yesterday but I was waiting for you before I watch
5:58 Yes, headless, tell him😂😂
He doesn't know 😂
In Ghana here only your salary can not make you rich
MONEY LAUNDERING nkoaaaa😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bro brought back $130,000 to ghana thinking they will call him odogu...lol, cecilia dapaa alone had $1million in her house
And who's the morally upright person here? One who genuinely earned his money or a lazy politician who resorted to thievery to enrich herself? Ghanaians like you seem to be in full support of the wicked and crooked ways of the leaders.
@@JonGreenyYou didn't get the joke... calm down
It is people like him who make things hard here. They are the reason land is priced in dollars. they come with dollars to buy lands that will take the average person over 10-20yrs savings to buy. Land in a suburb of Koforidua is selling for 80K cedis how many young people can buy that form honest work? Where we are heading is dangerous.
Did you hear when he said those buying are mostly Ghanaians living in Ghana?. It's a practice that must stop. Doesn't matter who's the buyer
Hmmm , I swear...
So why can't the property developers adjust prices to the standard of living in Ghana?
@@JonGreenythey can't, the materials are imported
@@kasmo_adRojo That's just a silly excuse.

When headless started with most, I could feel his pain. Ghana hard
How will the young Ghanaian survive? NPP politicians have stolen so much money and hidden it in real estate. The gap between the rich and the poor is widening. Politicians, people with political links and Ghanaians living in the diaspora are the only ones buying these properties. Thr poor Ghanaian is getting poorer

This is in every country... Why didn't he try in the USA or wherever he was. He would have seen worse than this. And those who are buying this kind of apartment aren't local Ghanaians they are either foreigners who have relocated into ghana or the big men in Ghana or even the fraud boys... Chale Ghanaian's are poor but we aren't that poor

E go over you but headless go break am down give you.😂😂😂😂
I think his lawyer did not advise him on the current standard of doing business over here cos the money he's holding is too small to invest in such prime areas
Especially real estate
You are wrong. Thievery, money laundering, and dishonesty have driven up the prices of real estate thus creating a bubble only for the ones with an illegitimate source of wealth.
I’m here first today ooo
😹😹😹😹 squad Dey hold for this side… just say more people no want show
Its the truth paaa most people dont earn their money legitimately ooo hehe most of the rich people are scammers
Ghanaians are magicians 😂😂😂
The individuals in the country get money more than the government...but most Ghanaians travel alot and make money....in Ghana, when U make money, they start dragging u n accuse unnecessarily....Most people will never tell you,the key to their wealth and they are simple.....eg.the secret wealth of a family i know,is a gold given by their grandparents which was invested over and over... remember there are hustlers on the street...
And how did those individuals amass their wealth knowing the lack of transparency in Ghana?
😂😂When people say Ghana make hot i wonder. Are you sure. Kw333 people are chilling ruf ruf

Ask Hajia for real on making money genuinely
"Most Ghanaians don't make their money genuinely". What a generalization 😂.
Hasty oo 🤣🤣
I believe if he had said "Ghanaians" that will be hasty generalization but adding most doesn't make it so. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
Politicians get 80% of those properties ...deals nkoaaa our money Ghana money
And the Ghanaians are not stopping this? Are there no men in Ghana with balls?
@@JonGreeny Ghanaians cannot stop it now and forever.
@@richya.8993 Why not? By your assertion Ghanaians should just accept being oppressed by their elected leaders? If a nation is to be free of evil leadership it's the citizens who must riot.
Wild, wild claim. He must have been out of town for a while, so out of touch. Today's Ghana is different from the one you left years ago, my brother. Welcome back, but start by taking some time to learn from those who have been around. You're gravely mistaken if you think "most" Ghanaians make their money through illegal means. You have no clue. Massa stop right there. $130,000 can build you a decent house in Prampram or Afienya. So why waste our time to listen to this bitter story. You choose to leave in those affluent areas so deal with it.
Who are the Ghanaians buying up all those expensive properties? Aside foreign businesses and foreign embassies I don't see how a Ghanaian politician or professional could afford those properties with their salaries alone.
