Beautiful project and as a pan African, I'm glad that the owner is Ghanaian.
Same here but the management company might not be owned by Black South Africans
Stayed here on my last visit. Super convenient location, friendly staff, clean, pharmacy and cafe was next door...the yogurt and meat stores are new since 2021! Wow!
How was the mosquitos with the lagoon?
@joey-pn3xe lol I enjoyed hanging out by the pool and lagoon. I got attacked by mosquitoes at night in my room though, because I was on ground level. That was a major issue. I was never so happy to know there was a pharmacy next door. 🤕 Mosquitoes find me on the Continent, unfortunately.
Did you use mosquito repellant? And they still attacked?....@Ms.Robinson__
Vanessa, welcome back! The project is very huge. Talking about this apartment, I prefer to live 4th to 10th floor, because when you stay 2nd floor going up, using the stairs going ups and downs will keep fit, hardly to get sick. So here in cathedral avenue DC. I'm currently live on 7th floor, and I don't like to use elevator or lift, always using stairs because it good exercise and I'm enjoying that
But you can still live on lower floors and still use the stairs for your exercises.
@@watchit16 when you live up, you do it as a necessary part of your day to day. Lower, you'd have to be motivated.
@@brofutv1853What you said should be in reverse. If you lived on the 2nd or 3rd floor, you walk the stairs as a necessary part of life. Contrastly, if you lived higher, you would have to be motivated to walk up.
Vanessa is back! Thank you for showing us a nice and important video.
Glad you came back to creating youtube content.
First Class Video as always Vanessa . Well done, great interview ..😊clip in the gym was hilarious , I always crack up when you open boiler room doors 😂 your expression is priceless. 🇬🇭 is doing great things and I’m so happy for Africa as a whole. You bring joy to my household when I see wonderful projects and business opportunities being taken by the Motherland. 🥂 can’t wait for your next upload. 😊❤
This is so beautiful! I need to come and see this place!
Glad you're back
It’s really good seeing your videos again 🫶🏾
Welcome back, VK....good to see ya!!!
Vanessa, you are the first UA-camr who I watched about Ghana. Welcome back for a visit.
They need to put solar panels on the roof to offset HVAC expenses and provide auxiliary power.
I like the store's. 🎉🎉🎉the apartment building 🏠 is beautiful 😍
Take a look at your lovely smile Vanessa Kanbi ❤
So beautiful 😍 it’s like Wakanda for real!
It would be nice to know of any maintenance fees or recurrent government taxes
I have been thinking about investing in Africa in the future. Ghana is far better than Nigeria.
Come here first and then think about your investment. Nigeria especially in the major cities are way developed and have proper infrastructure like in western countries
@@roseanne1466 I was in Abuja last year. Nigeria will be great in the future. Where are you?
Hello Vanessa thank for showing this. Please next time when you do an apartment showing and you have the owner to ask questions like in this video, please do us a favor ask them some of the important information that prospective buyers want to know. What is the HOA fees or maintenance fees. Majority of places have that and it’s important to know. also what is the lessee hold on these apartments and how May years. We do not want to only know how beautiful it is and the fact that it’s in East Legon and it has shops around. Also show us a complete 1 and 2 bedroom with the inside. I think your videographer did not do a good job showing the inside of this one. Thank you.
Vanessa I'm more interested in the roads from Accra mall to these properties. Yes, the properties are relatively cheaper, and in good location. But what if the roads are so bad that I'm unable to drive home or have to go through miles of potholes to get home? The target of these developers is diasporans and expatriates because the average Ghanaian can't afford these properties even in a thousand years. So if we are the targets, then they have to do better. Businesses can no longer be passive with government. They can also put pressure on government to help fix our roads. If roads were good, this property's worth 15% more in my view.
Cheaper? The average Ghanaian can’t afford them, and you call it cheap?
@philipboateng5667 did I say cheaper or relatively cheaper?
@@kontomylitis You still meant it’s cheap because you were probably comparing it to advanced countries. As a resident of the U.S., I can assure you that these homes are not cheap in Ghana. It's unfair to compare Ghanaian houses to those in advanced nations because the economies are completely different, the average standard of living is different, and labor is relatively cheaper in Ghana, as is land.
@philipboateng5667 of course, it's cheap. The fact that you can never afford it in your lifetime does not negate that fact. Real estate in Accra is not for the poor.
Thanks Vanessa, in apartments like that can you also ask them about service charges? Most of the time this is where the catches are. Also the terms/type of lease.
Vanessa is in Ghana?
Lol I thought she left a long time. Awesome
Hi Vanessa!! That is awesome very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!
MAY GOD BLESS YOU KAMB 🙏🙏🙏🛐🛐🛐
It would be nice if the camera person would have span to rooms to show what you were describing.
Very nice. Thanks for showing us the options that we can have in Ghana. Great work
@ Vanessa, how about showcasing other comparable estate build projects like the Jolly B estate at Oyarifa Accra which is as good as diasporans can get?
Nice but not much value for the price. For 150k I can get a new 3 bedroom apartment in a top location in Nairobi. Thanks for sharing!
You are so blessed by this lovely beauty frankly
YOUR BODDY LANGUAGE IS CLAIRE AND EXPRESSIV ❤❤🎉 KAMB 😂😂😂
Buying off plan is suppose to a benefit. I.E. sometimes by the time the project is finished, the property maybe more expensive.
Smart roofing concept
I was staying at the rivera in December of 2023 great place to stay because of the location
How was it with mosquitos since it’s next to standing water?
Thanks for posting this video. How much was the stay for your per night?
I like that you said Primary bedroom…
You have been missed!
Thank you I missed you all too!
Good to see u again
SOMETHING IS BIGER AND HIGTER THAN ATRACTION. SUPER NATUREL 😮😮🙏🤷☀️
Maybe showing one of the completed 1 beds in the other properties would help.
Beautiful development ❤❤❤
I'n concern the Lagune will attract mosquitos. It's still water.
Why is the outside space like a balcony counted as part of the square meterage? Surely only internal spaces should count.
Thank You
The hardest thing about being vegetarian is keeping it to yourself.
,, 🤣
😂 good one
The place is nice, but they should’ve I arrange the river before start selling the house ,
GOOD APARTMENT
YOU ARE THE DIAMOND OF GOD IN THIS THIS WORLD 😂😂😂🛐🛐🛐🙏😇😇😇
l thought you left ghana, did know you were back? Was it too cold here in the uk for you now?😂 Nice one!Cheers.
Are these available for rent or just to purchase?
J'aime bien tes émissions madame.
Nice apt, what advise can you give for best schooling for Americans kids without the high amount dollars?
Wish we talked in cedis since we are in Ghana🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
How much is the 116? Its is 1,2,3 bedroom?
Nice Apartment Expensive😊
BE. BLESSED YOUR TIME IS TODAY 😂😂😂 🎉
Please make a video of what $10,000 gets you.
Very few people have over $100,000
Thanks 🙏
you get a metal shack. You know nothing about raw materials, labor and production. What do you think 10,000 will get you?
$10,000 will get you 2 plots of land on the outskirts of Accra.
@@Maria-pv2ji in Nigeria 10,000 can get you land, a fence and foundation for a big house and $20,000 a completed house with $30,000 you can get a fully furnished small house in any of the major cities except Lagos. That’s why I asked.
I can even show you a website you can see houses for sale in Nigeria at the prices I listed. Ghana is really expensive especially for a third world country, I would never pay that much to live in the third world I’d rather use that 100,000+ and buy a small house in a developed country instead.
@@sweetbadd9852 that’s expensive
@@BiobeleGo to Nigeria then! No one is forcing to buy in Ghana lol. Go where meets your need and leave Ghana alone!
Sorry but this is ridiculously expensive taking into account Ghana’s gdp per capita. The prices of these condos I can buy in the USA city like Chicago downtown condo for the same price in world class city. So no the pricing is ridiculous when you think about it.
They need stop building with imported and source locally. No condo should be more than $80,000 in Ghana
Lol... East Legon is one of the top Ghanaian communities... Meaning it's a high value area with high prices... Location is always key 🙂
@@nk-vo2rf yes but your location is zero when you don't have proper infrastructure. Have you seen the roads we have in east lagon? Is this what you would call an upper-class community?
The area is nice
Thank you for this video. Just a few tips, it would have been a much better presentation if you showed more of that first apartment. You did not show the entirety of any of the rooms. We did not see the whole living room. We did not see the kitchen. You went into the master bedroom, but the camera person stayed outside the room and took the video from the doorway. All we saw was the bed. We did not see the whole room. You said there were wardrobes, but you did not show them. As for the bathroom in the master bedroom, it looked like the lights were off so it was hard to see anything and you really did not show the bathroom. It seemed like the camera person was standing outside the bathroom and zoomed in on a small part of the shower, in the dark. You said there was a terrace in the master bedroom, but you never showed it. After watching the entire showing, I still have no idea what the apartment looks like. These are things you may want to think about when making your next video of an apartment showing.
I agree this was an oversight of the videographer - there’s another tour of the apartment on this video ua-cam.com/video/HiNg1IfPEDk/v-deo.htmlsi=wZ6uErfQ_cucMQpR
I love you Vanessa ❤️
Price $ ?
How can l email you personally?
I can't find your contact details ☹️ 7:03 🙏 🤷😔😔
I’m looking for 4 bedrooms
Prices on steroids....the average citizen cannot afford that.....smh
It’s not for everyone. It’s for a target audience and they have the $$$
Im certainly not paying to live in no apartment.
320k is expensive yall
116k is good
US currency or Ghana currency ?
Your camera person didn’t do a decent job, showcasing the. Unbelievably, condos, or apartments, as they call them in Ghana, are equally priced as houses here in the US. Ghana is becoming increasingly expensive, particularly in Accra. Thanks for showing us around.
THIS IS MORE THAN CONECTION OR MANIPULATION END STATION 😮😮😮
Over priced apartment.
Lagoon?? That can’t be good. Who wants to live next to a lagoon. They don’t smell very nice. Totally overpriced and overrated
Yes it will be mosquito infected?
You dont understand, riverside view, thats why you say that...its a great view when you live by a river...and of course, the developers would have disinfected it!!
I thought about mosquitos too.
@@irene4770 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣you wish.
$320,000 USD in Ghana sounds crazy, why someone with that amount of money would stay there?
It is a bit high BUT as someone who is in Ghana about two to three times a year and always in that area, the location is actually perfect. If someone was actually moving there with a family, that location is walking distance to quite a bit and it is safe. These situations are better than being in a big house where maintenance and security issues can become an expense. Additionally, some retirees who spend significant amounts of money on big dream houses might find the location user friendly. The kids and grandkids might be more interested in coming to visit due to the location. Nightlife is nearby.
LOL ithis is worse than gentrification. No way "middle income" Ghanaian can afford this! These are average apartments, probably built by Ghanaians at Ghanaian labor rates and cost.
Why don't you help them? Youre in the west talking bs
@@ghsense2626 Lol useless comment. You don't know how/if I help. Even if I don't I can definitely recognize a problem, which is better than pretending it doesn't exist. In the west they recognize and address the economic impacts of such ventures, but my people would rather come for the messenger; pointing it out is a form of help.
If u can't afford it shut up and watch..I guess is Bill gate and his family occupying the apartment right?
..
@@paulinakonadu2274 what a dumb thing to say.
@@kojodakrow just like your first comment...
👍
You are very beautiful lady frankly
Courtyard is UGLY...concrete is not the best looking or environmentally FRIENDLY...Grass Lawn would ramp up the outside BEAUTY
I'm building my home too but I prefer a mansion based on Akan architecture with a huge courtyard with gardens and a hut where people can sit.
You see VANESSA I AM NOT APARYMENT PERSON I AM SORRY
