What DAW are you using for your setup? The midi programming of drums made me think of the Dr Rex Looper in Reason but that is definitely not Reason. I am perplexed. I must know!

I use cubase, always have. I do wonder about having a look at ableton but learning a new DAW is too daunting.
Ableton's workflow is built around live looping and editing so it would be a good DAW for what you're doing, but it is quite difficult to learn by itself, especially since it's different from other DAWs.
Teach me to use a computer 😂
