Delay+ can also sound 'analog' if you take your time to work out the feedback loop a bit. in the inspector of a Delay+ instance you can select a soft clipping threshold for that dubby distortion at high feedback values. Or you could set it to hardclipping and move the threshold out of the way and handle the distortion with any saturator of choice in the feedback loop.
You can also set the rate changes to resampling instead of crossfades to have the iconic pitch drifts of analog delays, which you can use for random modulation, subtle vibrato or crazy automation like in your video. I once found out that Delay+'s pitch modulation is not 100% clean, probably some subtle optimization going on in the background. So if you plan to add subtle vibrato on rather pure signals, like sine- or triangle-based synth patches, you might want to use a dedicated vibrato plugin... if only you knew someone who made a sick dedicated vibrato plugin... that would be pretty cool

you should try mapping some of those controls to velocity or aftertouch sometime. i really like doing that.

Shpongle is amazing and I also like Ott which tends to be more trippy with delays because it’s more dubby.
