    That's me learned another good lesson from watching you there. I'm not gentle with the roller, I've been too heavy handed. I'll be copying you now. Thanks once again, Chef.

    OMG Thank you so very much. I made these today and they are fantastic/fabulous/amazing. I have tried multiple times over multiple years to make decent pita and until I used your recipe and method today they have not been great to say the very least. I USED YOUR RECIPE AND METHOOD AND THEY CAME OUT PERFECTLY, EVEN THE FIRST ONE..

      Katherine - I'ma big fat guy - if I can do it you can. Its about the amount of flour it stops the compression. Best, Rik

    Another easy peasy recipe and it works. I used to make pitta bread just water and flour it worked but yours is the coup de grace. My Thai wife loved my pitta bread and I had to make it for her friends (same as my Yorkshire puddings) which I enjoyed. Question? The village where it live Don Pau (Non Sung) one of the ladies is married to an Italian man she cooks pizza when they come here for a holiday. Do you do a pizza recipe? PS.

      Sounds great! Mate I haven't made a pizza in a while. That will be scheduled into the future when i get round to buying another oven. There is an easy pizza dough on the channel - however I have made better dough. Leaving it to ferment over night. Best, Rik

    It worked! Thanks for the recipe. Tried many other recipes before and most of the time the pita bread didn't puff up. Excited to see the bread rise 😃

    Rik my pitas didn't turn out well wouldn't puff up followed to the letter other than using chapatti (atta) flour instead of whole wheat flour could this be why?

    • @BackyardChef
      @BackyardChef  4 місяці тому +1

      Tony, I'm not sure. Atta flour can be used and should yield a softer bread which should puff up. Best, Rik

      Check to see if your yeast is still good, I keep mine in the fridge to keep it fresh and rising well
