This was awesome! you did a great job. were you using any pedals and if so what were they and the settings TIA!
thanks man! I actually wasn't using any pedals for this one! just mic'ed the amp with the signal going straight into DAW. Used some light reverb in post production in Logic's space designer though :)
@@SightlineGuitar really? No pedals? I'm really impressed with the sound now. What did you do to get so close to their sound?
@@ericward5757 yeah man no pedals, its just a Roland micro-cube amp recorded with a Shure SM57. Parkway's guitar tone is very high gain and the microcube's distortion channels are incredible!
Good cover man the only suggestion I have is to change your strings before recording lol. You can tell they're old from the corrosion lines on fret 7 and 12 and 1 but good cover regardless.
Yeah tbf this was recorded towards the end of that string cycle and I changed them the day after I believe 😂 well noticed tho

Quite easy to be honest...if you get the hang of it you'll learn it very fast. I mean it's like that saying: practice makes perfect,no?

@@SightlineGuitar Would love to see some As I Lay Dying! Meaning of Tragedy, The Darkest Nights, and Confined might be some cool songs to tutorial. Maybe some bands to sample out could be: All that Remains, Five Finger Death Punch, Korn, A Day to Remember, Disturbed, FiveFold, Maralyn Manson, NonPoint, etc, Tons of cool bands out there man and you clearly have the talent to perform. I'll keep an eye out for some future videos from you, thanks for asking! Respect and much love brotha
