I think Ain’t talkin bout love is another essential.
Yes, it's true!
First thing I learnt when I got my guitar
Went from easy to hard in the first 2 songs 😂
If you think the second song is hard backtrack a bit and learn basic picking techniques. First position chords just with a specific picking pattern. Not “hard” just different way of making your brain think. Practice it constantly knowing you’re going to suck at it at first. After time it’ll come together and you’ll play it just as well as the original.
This is one of the first songs I learned with its chords, I learned to play the bare chord with this song for the first time.
Fear the reaper isn't hard. Just repeat the same thing until it doesn't feel hard.
No it didn't it's not hard
@@NexyOJF says someone who obviously has been playing for some time 🤷
"All our times have come 🎶🎵"
Where is my mind - in the last section of the riff try sliding 4-5 on the b string and including some open e string
Slide then bend it
Thanks, will be working on these. Cant wait for Stayin' Alive. Awesome inclusion!
🙏👍😎
A true hero drops the pdf for free so i dont have to just write it in my songbook. Either way it will be free
I can't explain how happy I was in my heart to see a Muse song on this list - though at my current skill level I think Plug In Baby is pretty demanding to call "essential" lmao. I'll probably try to learn Pressure or something first; it sounds like an easier one to start crossing over into electric guitar with.
🙏😎
This gives me a new project to tackle, hopefully I can learn 1 a day
I find Under the bridge harder than thunderstruck to play
Thank you. Nice video❤❤❤
You' re Welcome 🙏😎
I learned so many riffs thanks to you! I spent x hours with your videos and it really helped! You doing absolutely amazing job🙏🏼🎸
Thank you very much Stela if my videos help you to progress it makes me very happy
@@1jour1riff of course! They help me so much
Great video ❤
Thank U very Much 🙏🎸😎
Pink Floyd's Money isn't a guitar riff - it's a bass riff.
Guitar is played over the bass in the intro of money
It’s both a bass riff and a guitar riff
@@DaffierPig6843 must be that low in the mix. I've just listened for the first time in years I still couldn't hear it. The David Gilmour plays the off beat to the riff. Don't know who plays the second guitar.
Nice guitar 🎸 brother
🙏🎸😎
Comme d’habitude. Tu gères. Je viens de choper ma guitare électrique. Plus qu’à apprendre ces pépites
Top ! Si mes vidéos te donnent envie de sortir la guitare çà me fait d' autant plus plaisir 🙏😎
@@1jour1riff rectif je viens de la recevoir de thomann 😅😂
Big ups for muse representation
🙏😎🎸
Muse is the best and I’m glad it was in the video
I think I'm the only one in the room who can never get Paranoid down properly.
How?
@@dominicgoodman3394 That intro can be tricky at first, with the barre across the lower strings and the hammer-ons. I'm getting it now, but found it deceptively hard at first.
Use more coke more often, you'll get paranoid in no time

👍 I'm 499 like 500 fo sho..thank u Vic

No. 2 riff needs more cowbell 😃
GarageBand Hard Rock looking Guitar

@@Theloserguy_312 I know right
@@Fartmaster129 yea a Gibson sg
He doesn't know about one of the most iconic guitars
DON'T FEAR THE REAPER MENTIONED??
YESSSS
It just doesn't work without the cowbell.
Be a little more specific
@@jacknickel7765 He doesnt need to be
@@aerithnull5081 Uhh ok. Your statement is invalid
@@aerithnull5081nah whatever song you think is so iconic that we would all immediately recognise a missing cowbell you are fucking wrong

IS MORE COWBELL
Wait are these all in standard tuning?
Yes all in standard tuning in this video
@@1jour1riff cool thanks
My friend has been playing guitar for yesrs and is really good at it and he cant even play thunderstruck
The funny thing about guitar is that proficiency in it is not uniform and consistent across all techniques. I can play death metal riffs at blistering high tempos, throw in perfect pinch harmonics, I can do all those twisty complex Alan Holdsworth style jazz chords. Ask me to play a basic rock solo or do a fast fluid scale runthough, and I’m garbage at it. I don’t practice leads very much just a lot of chords, tremolo etc.
years and can’t play thunderstruck??
@@dimensionz9547its all about what kind of music you play
Neither can I. I learned how to play it a few years ago and got it down decently, but ever since then I just haven’t been able to get it to work.
It is harder to play the riff picked, as it was recorded
falto sweet child o mine

What about Stairway to heaven?
Stairway is a forbidden riff…… there’s a few reasons you will NEVER hear it being played in a guitar center.
1)it was overplayed due to popularity
2)it’s over rated when compared to Zep catalogue.
3)Zepplin, and only Zepplin, did that song justice… it is to them what Hotel California is to the Eagles.
@@samuelpanter3785 I know that… And even then, it could still be in this list.
Because those are 20 essential guitar tabs, not The 20 most essential guitar tabs. Most of us already know that song and is better to let space for other rather than giving to songs everybody knows.
@@tizianoguy2904 fair
It’s too bad that after 6 years of trying the guitar I never made any progress
The first riff is a bass line lmao
Edit: Multiple riffs here are bass lines hahaha
Too much glam in my opinion. However good job on putting actual Guitar Rig tabs.
If you talking grunge Alice In Chains "Man in the Box", Stone Temple Pilots "Plush", Pearl Jam "Even Flow" and Soungarden "Black Rain" are pretty much essentials too and they are not stolen like "Come As You Are" (google up the song "Eighties"). And post-grunge exist and there som much more bands with essential riffs, despite I dislike Nickelback, for public listener that would be way more recognisable.
Could have bring more classic heavy metal, there are a lot of songs that are heavy and easy to play. Let alone "You've got Another Thing Coming" by Judas Priest.
And "Bang Your Head" by Quiet Riot is essential glam hit.
Man i agree but this is completely out of order
