- I don’t why I felt like this song needed the turquoise and thistle backdrop. I’ve tried my hardest to conceal that it’s a bathroom. The take before was okay, but I thought this one had a little more to it, but then toward the end I started to remember that I thought the outro was too long to the pervious take. Then my fingers went rogue. Devastation!!! Big deal!!!! Hahahaha. I decided to leave the crestfallen reaction because it’s funny. So dramatic!!! This version is the 1990 Eastern Conference Finals for my Jordan. The next one will be amazing! Can you tell what I’m watching? I downloaded and messed about with a video editing app for the first time and was cracking myself up with these dissolves. Here’s to imperfection and letting it show and getting em’ next time!!!
I hope these videos aren’t too doleful for these difficult times. These are the kind of songs that give me hope and lift me up. I am honored to have a little place to put them. Please look out for each other and do everything you can to move us ALL past this as soon as possible.

I came across this video while going down a pluralone/rhcp wormhole and finally bought my first guitar- having no experience. I absolutely love Josh’s cover of storms and after just two months of learning guitar I’m happy to say I was able play along with Josh in this video (not to mention that this has been blasting from my TV for the past hour). Much love for J.K.!! ♥️
I discovered these videos of Josh in early 2022 when I was going through a tough time. The whole John and Josh discography definitely helped a lot. I even tried to cover a few that are in my channel. But couldn’t match such soothingness of this beauty of a voice!
Josh, thank you for sharing the most honest and raw reaction that I have seen in a video. When all of this passes (and in time it will) and you get back to being the mega Rockstar that you are, I hope that you can look back at these videos and smile. Found this just now as I was looking for how folks might have covered this rare gem from “Tusk.” I usually transpose for female lead vocals and was smiling to see you’ve gone to a c major shape capo’ed up one fret but kept the falsetto. Comes out very nicely. I might drop the key lower to sing in chest voice but might follow your lead with it.
The way Stevie and Lindsey did this for the recorded track it was so delicate and also raw almost like a demo. You really get that same vibe here. Well done my friend.
