Old V12's: sing
New V12's: SCREAM
Both have their own charms.
🤔I would say the other way around.
New NA V12 sound more "melodic" while the older 3.0 V12's sound more raw. I love both tho.
AND, you can rev the Colombo engines to 10k RPM.....so I have been told by a pro vintage drive. Dad never took his above 8k (back when they were just cars, not the ultra valuable things they are today)
The sound of the engine, the sound of the tires, the esthetics of the car, the editing, the skills of the driver... Everything is great about this video! ...Even these amazing clouds...
and the seagull!
More exciting sound than modern turbocharger ferraris
For sure !!!!!
1:04 nice save! The car looks like a real handful. But you cannot beat that V12 sound. 😍
Nah that’s just how it’s driven lmao
actually, the SWB handles really well, not sure what was going on there.....
Yeah that's just the way they handle, very oversteery. Would be a joy to drive
The engine : how much RPM you want ?
The driver : yes
Mo powah baby!
More RPM more faster
@@i_are_ebban , I see you are a man of culture.
Eargasm. There is not much talking to define something like this.
Those onboard shots sound beautiful. You can really hear that V12 scream from the inside of the car 😍
I remember seeing it at good wood. It's quite a nice clean but powerful sound. Very beautiful car 👍
Greta Thunberg’s favorite video.
Perfect onboard camera placement!
Enzo Ferrari had a keen understanding of the proper characteristics of a performance car. The speed is paramount, of course, but the presentation, specifically the song, is as important as anything.
Beautiful
Lovely that it seems to have the full interior, with leather and those lovely chrome instruments, and not just a stripped out racing interior. And a great big wheel.
That was a stripped out race car interior in 1961.
Plus, it's a rare car, and it's owner isn't gonna change anything, to shed a few hundredths of a second to win a Historic race.
That car is probably valued at 5 million dollars. Or close to it.
Depending on who raced it, and where.
Whoever this driver was, he needs more instruction. Needs to learn how rev match and properly throttle an apex. Even though he was just parade lapping, I don't think he has developed the skills needed to handle that car at any speed.
Che spettacolo, auto magnifica ed ottimo pilota 👍
I, totally, agree.
@@searchforthelight.3287 😉👍
Beautiful car, amazing sound. Love the onboards. Shows you how much effort it takes to drive her fast.
12 Cilindri! Agora está explicado a essência da Berlinetta! Olha esse potência em alta RPM! 😻🇮🇹
Cosa dire....Stupenda!!!!
What a car, color and driver. IMO it barely conveys this sound inside the cabin reminiscent of the La Ferrari. Amazing work Bozz!
Replay button for my favorite part of the video 8:40
0:44 Giulia TZ and Ferrari 250 GT perfect combination
Imagine crashing and having to explain that to your insurance company $50,000,000
This is how you drive a manual, kids.
So glad my dad taught me stick. Even took my test in one. I even took the tester by surprise, since I live in America lol. Best way to keep your car from getting stolen here!
@@spamcan9208 ahahaha I'm glad you learnt the proper driving style! Automatics will be everywhere soon...
I just learned.... 79 ford 4 speed, 1st to second goes from the dash to the seat...😂
As Grandes E,moções de Acelerar uma Máquina Ferrari,os Parabéns,Parabéns .
“Positive affirmation”…. When I get the £850k needed for the gto replica I will own one!
Ferrari the best car in the world
Brilliant sound. I particularly like the tyre squeal. And the sawing at the wheel like in an old Hollywood movie.
Powerslide a 250 GT. Why not? No one else is stupid enough?
Sounds amazing, what a gorgeous v12 bellow. I could listen to the onboard audio all day.
over revving much their bud?
Holy bias plys!, those corners get a bit sketchy at times!
Trying to find the perfect spot on the straight. For just. a little more.
Ferrari de collection joi voiture 🇮🇹🇮🇹
Pfiou! That engine sings really well :)
Appena ho visto il titolo del video ho messo like........CAPOLAVORO AUTOMOBILISTICO......... Video SPETTACOLARE BRAVO!
Tyres not up to much, but that ENGINE 😍
Bravo to the driver. Drove the hell out of the car.
12:00 hehe birb
the smol Porsche is fcking loud
Colombo V12, imho, is not only greatest sounding Ferrari engine, but also greatest sounding engine ever, pure old school V12 sound.
Viteste kamyon vitesi gibi
Great content as always I love your videos!
Tires don't seem to be sticking so well. Lots of under and over steer!
Vintage spec cross-ply tyres. Watch on the external shots how the cars appear to be creeping sideways most of the time, an inherent characteristic of the crossply / bias-ply construction.
Mild aside: this is arguably how these cars should be run, it is after all how they were designed. Using sticky tyres in classic racing series often results in suspension failure and chassis fatigue - or modifications to avoid those things, which take these cars away from original condition. In some respects it's interesting to see how far they can be pushed, but they're far more interesting as a snapshot of the evolution of the art of race car design (and the techniques needed to get the best out of them) through time.
@@identiticrisis Wow thanks for the reply. I learned something 😁
Welll, thank you so much Bozzy whatever, now I have to change my underwear !
The wife won't believe I was on a car vid ! Damn you, son !
That‘s reall racing! Countersteer, undesteer, turning, hard working! Great! 😍
This is why Electric cars suck ass
awesome. he is revving that thing... sounds like 9.000 rpm to me. you might also try to add a cam in the white alfa tz next time!
Looks like huge understeer, not sure that would be so much fun to drive, just lots of work. Too bad the looks of this car is the epitome of fun car to drive.
Drove the wheels off that SOB! Amazing engine! 60 years old next year, wow!
Very good video as usually - the 250 SWB , my old favorite ! magic V12 - thank Bro
Who is the driver? He certainly seems to know what he's doing
my favorite car in the world
1:04 a bit of poo poo came out
Mamma mia, che auto! Ma quanti giri fà? La terza marcia è durata circa 11 secondi 😂.
3 litre V12?+that sound omg!
They know how make engine.
Great.. It's not just a car. It is heritage and respectable culture.
Driver: There’s a redline?
You lucky swb!
God just beautiful...
That noise of the up shifts... god it's intoxicating!
Those revs! 😮
Actually does sound a little.... a little.... like a LaFerrari
Lovely. Please do a feature on that lovely 718 spyder.
He is really having to wrestle the car round corners!
What was redline on that thing? 8k? 8.5k? 9k RPMs?
Don't know specs very much but im sure it hits above 8k
8500
Great video, great remembrance, great sound, thanks again Bozzy
Реально походу мега-крутая тачка для своего времени была.
not great tires...non?
Cool, but that's a whole lot of work. Great sound!
Forever Great Car.. Forever the Greatest Tube Maker..
Listen to that magical mechanical sound. Pure bliss
Like it was built to be driven.
Seems wrong to put these wonderful cars on this terrible circuit.
@@inanimateuser9828 - Fair comment. And the weather is great down in the south of France so you're likely to get good weather.
Such a sophisticated engine sound.
non ci credo anche l on board.. grazie davvero
The Bozzer strikes gold!

aint this car worth like 40 million dollars
It's 250 GTO
Ata Orkun Oğuz so how much is this one worth
@@heytu1638 10 million approximately

Sounds like it
New tyres? 🤔
Thin tires.
@@searchforthelight.3287 Diagonal Tyres ;)
ecologists enjoy!!!😂😂
Someone is gonna get triggered when I compare the sound to a NA RB. Cause it sounds like an NA RB.
