OREGON DUCKS: Ready for Big Ten Schedule; Alex Orji to Start for Michigan vs USC Trojans

- The Oregon Ducks football team is 3-0. But they barely won their first two games in which they were heavy favorites. College football is strange. People care about point spreads as much as victories. If a team fails to win by a large margin fans begin to worry.
That is not to say Oregon was free of problems early on. Dan Lanning had a punch list of items to shore up or else the Oregon Ducks dream of competing for a Big Ten football championship or college football National Championship was going to fizzle out.
Tune in for a break down of the Ducks problems and whether they fixed them in time for this past weekend's win over Oregon State, and in time for Big Ten conference play.
Michigan football has a quarterback problem. On Monday Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore announced Monday he is making a change at quarterback. Davis Warren is out. Alex Orji is in ahead of Saturday's Big Ten football opener vs the USC Trojans at the Big House.
And Wisconsin is making a change at quarterback because they had to. Miami transfer Tyler Van Dyke injured his knee vs Alabama and will be out for the season.

Oregon State has the two worst DTs in the B1G. OR only masked OL problem playing a horrible defense. They will finish 9-3

Not getting overly confident. Good game against an inferior opponent isn’t the best measuring stick but Oregon did make steps in the right direction. If they get healthy on the line in the next couple weeks and improve against UCLA and MS they should be able to put up a good fight. If they lose against Ohio State in October in a good game that fine. As long as they win the others and peak later in the season it will be there.
Considering it’s the same measuring stick that was used to knock them down. It seems appropriate to use the same one to bring them back up.
This is kind of my ideal scenario. Just keep getting better, if they can hit their ceiling later in the year, they may have a shot at a title. Right now, I'm not seeing it, but it's certainly possible if they play to their ceiling later in the year.
Michigan's problem is less about lacking a QB, and more about a subpar defense. McCarthy was uneven last year, but their defense covered up his inconsistency and allowed the offense to rely on the run -- exactly what they did to Penn State last year. Wouldn't it be amazing if USC and Oregon met for the B1G championship? Beat the Buckeyes and end the season 12-0, okay?
Usc Oregon would be the nightmare scenario for the big 10.

@@6lazn220 The idaho team is looking like one of the top FCS teams in the country, boise state has a top 2 rb in the country and are virtually the g5 play off lock. Shit oregon state is the worst team weve played this year by a good bit

@@6lazn220 when its a qbs first game with 2 key iol injuries. that and how often do we see FBS teams struggle with FCS teams? The answer is every year.
@@KobeJohnson-jz5wo yes, every year, and every year teams drop rankings and spots. you can’t just not drop teams just because of a maybe they’re gonna do better next week. that’s not how it works. it’s week by week performance and oregon has played terribly. there’s no excuses when it comes to the ranking.
cfb is so volatile where any top opponent could lose at any moment. you can’t just give the team a benefit of the doubt because it’s their first game even though they already did with oregon.
