Moore coached 3 games but didn’t’ prepare the team during the week that was Coach Harbaugh. When you’re responsible for everything that happens, you have a big learning curve and pretty sure Michigan will be hard-pressed to make the playoff

I like the Michigan team we have this year and I will be at the Big House for the 40th year as a season ticketholder. There are many moving parts that have changed since January of this year. I really like Coach Moore and his enthusiasm and skill. I like that he has a master's degree and will reinforce academic performance by his example. As long as the kids play hard, stay healthy and graduate, I will be a happy fan. I believe if we go 8-4 or 9-3 this year it would be a successful season. Go Blue!

Unless the bylaws permit member institutions a vote to drop other member institutions, they will need to form a new conference leaving behind the dead wood. This could happen at the end of a media rights contract but would require significant organization between rival institutions with competing interests.

Nice show, as always, but in addition to Miami, Georgia Tech, Duke, North Carolina, and Notre Dame, the following ACC schools are in the AAU: incoming new members Cal-Berkeley and Stanford, plus Pittsburgh and Virginia (which often is seen as possibly paired with UNC as expansion targets).

Odds of winning Natty - Georgia, Texas, Alabama (These are the most talented teams "with" returning QB starters). Ole Miss and Oregon...Oregon slides because Dillon Gabriel is a good football player but he's new and Oregon's trench guys are high on potential but low on real experience. Ole Miss has the easier path so they get the nod.

FSU still an option if patient and make ASU push. As long as on track. They rank better than Oregon and Nebraska and will keep improving academically. But Clemson won’t make the cut. I believe still: ND, UNC, FSU are big dogs left in preferred order. Each has a dance partner: ND+Stanford, UNC+Virginia, FSU+Miami. How B1G will we get??

Florida State is almost in the AAU, and Miami already is, so is UNC, Duke, and I believe Virginia.

The Lucas Oil Field venue is really great for the Big 10 Championship. I went in 2022 when Michigan and Purdue played and it was fantastic! I think it was a wise decision to leave it there for the foreseeable future. Petitti mishandled the situation with Jim Harbaugh in suspending him less than 24 hours before a key game. He has to go!

Nebraska has a good schedule this season. They probably don't play a ranked team in their first 7 games. It's possible they could start 7 - 0. But 4 of the last 5 games will probably be against ranked teams. I could see them finish anywhere between 10-2 and 6-6.

I’m not worried about the travel question. If you unpack it and take, as an example USC and UCLA, they’re going to have home games basically 8 games each year because their rivalry game against each other is played in LA County every year. So, they’re only traveling 4, maybe 5, games a year and at least 1-2 of them will be to locations they’re use to traveling to in the Northwest.
