No joke, the most critical component of your grip can be built & refined simply by air drumming.
If you’ve dealt with slow or stiff hands, inability to play smoothly & feel relaxed on the drums, and everything your hands do just feels forced, difficult, and un-musical…
…Then today’s lesson is for you!
Without finding & fine-tuning your fulcrum (the hinge point in your grip), you’ll forever struggle to play well on the drums - Not to mention you may deal with excessive fatigue, exhaustion, or even pain.
Good news today is that you can actually solve this and even perfect your grip with one drumstick, no kit or practice pad needed. I’ll teach you how. YOU CAN DO THIS!
I believe that ANYONE can learn the drums, and I believe you’re far more capable of becoming a great drummer than you think you are. Don’t sell yourself short! SUBSCRIBE for more Non Glamorous videos that get straight to the point of solving drumming frustration. Stay Non Glamorous, Everyone!

This is the compact go-anywhere sit-anywhere productive use of available practice time that might otherwise be spent waiting or empty-handed, no kit or sound-muffling required. Next time stranded on a desert island, I'll find a stick and have something good to do. I'm gonna try this flat on my back in bed. Thanks, Professor Clark.
This lesson was more like justification for all my air drumming when I'm away from the drums. I'll keep pushing it and also keep on working on my singles (nobody's perfect)
Great lesson!
Thanks. This is helpful. I’m going to do this.
Wow this advice already helped me. And I never would have even thought of this. thank you
This guy got good tricks and such 😀
Thank you! This will be a valuable addition to my practice time. Sometimes I get so caught up playing to songs, I forget to be aware of technique. I am definitely guilty of the ham-handed zero fulcrum grip when I am trying to play something tricky or fast.
I'll have to start doing this while I'm out, away from my set
Man I wish air guitar was this practical
Nice thing, i'll try it! PS : link doesnt work :c

Bored to death
Great playing comes from doing boring exercises over & over a billion times.
