Cheers...... mate for the info. very much appreciated it ...clear and to the point
Thank you. Worked great on 2008 Nissan Altima. Before doing that, I just add air to all tires 35psi and did the trick.
And bang, the tpms light went off after I drove it and made a circle on the street.
Thanks man! Great content. Easy to find and concise. Thanks for being clear and direct! 😎🙏🏼👍🏼
I just did it on Nissan Armada 2009 and it works. Thanks for posting.
What pressure did y poi y ser your tires to? I have a pathfinder and trying to figure this out
This worked great for me. my Tpms light was flashing for about a minute then would come on solid after I replaced one of my tpms sensors. once I grounded my paper clip 6 times the light started blinking again and didn’t stop blinking until I drove the car for about 4 minutes at about 20 miles an hour but I have an Altima just like the one in the video. Thanks again for the video
Exactly what I need. Just checked my car tires just awhile ago. Put air pressure for 33 Psi each tires. (According to my car's manual) But I'm clueless how to activate the TPMS on my car. Anyway, I have Nissan Maxima '10. I just bought it last week. Thank you for this video. I will check again my car tomorrow.
Thanks George! Your the MAN!😁👏😇🇺🇸
Thanks George, for showing me this!!..
Works -2013 Frontier Success! The TPMS light is now off. YOU must Deflate each tire as instructed, so the system can identify each wheel sensor separately. Once the system learns the sensors, it will turn the TPMS light off, and then back on until all of the tires have been inflated to the correct pressure.
I appreciate man gd information and money saver
Great video, thank you👍
worked like a charm on my 2007 Altima!!
Is it still working?
yes. this fixed my issue!
Thanks, George!
I just figured I'd check this video out because I have looked for the past 1/2 hour for a YT video that shows where the ''TPMS Reset'' is on 2010 Jeep Patriot, which is supposed to be right under the steering wheel, which I couldn't find. Just about all of the videos are on how to re calibrating the sensors after you or a tire shop has changed tire sensors. I finally got the ''Low Tire'' warning light to go off and all 4 of my tires did show the correct tire pressure. lol, I hardly ever drive over 45 since I'm always doing just city driving and the that wasn't fast enough to get them to reset. So today I took it out & drove 50-55 mph. After like 4 miles the ''Low Tire'' light went out, the 1 tire that read 0 lbs slowly went up to 35 lbs. One less warning light on my instrument panel...
thank you George that was excellent detail! we appreciate you taking time out of your day to make life a little easier for some of us..God bless you and your family...

Thanks for your encouragement

You did it? Tell me please what you made 👍
Thank you for the great video how do I find wire on on a 2016 Nissan maxima SL
Thanks you 👍👋😘
hello +George Melnik thanks for the great instruction. I followed every step your instruction, and the TPMS light blinked and went off. However, it did not came back on solid again (after driving 2 hours already). It should came back on solid just because the low pressure right? Do you know why? thanks in advance
Great video ! Will this method work on a 2017 Frontier pick up truck ?
Thanks George for the reply, but 2013 pathfinder doesn;t have single lead wire. I found six wire harness with 2 white 1 green and 1 black I used green and whites but could not force in the relearn mode. I guess this is no go for the newer pathfinder.
Did you tap ground on the silver metal piece that is between the 2 plastic slots for the plastic cover? Where your alligator clip is pointing to @5:49 in the video?
you are awesome my tpms on my 2009 nissan altima 2.5s is on as well, thank you imma try this out
Good luck
All you have too do is put 29psi on all 4 tires drive couple blocks and the light will turn off on its own
What if the recommended pressure is 33 psi ?
@@melniksmotors my 2015 doesn't have the white wire with the pig tail. Am I out of luck?
Hey George, I have a 2016 Nissan Sentra, does it have a interface plug like that?
Hi George, do you have any hints on how to do this reset on a 2013 Ram C/V? All sensors are good, tires inflated properly and the light stays on. Can't figure it out. Thanks man.
Gorge very great video. I have a TPMS on on my Fiat 500 there is not reset option in the menu and the tires are ok the problem is on the right rear wheel what is your suggestion here?
Totally works
it really helpful, otherwise I have to go to seller for reset it every winter when I wear on the snow spare tires
Thanks for the info. I am about to tackle a belt change on a Nissan Quest but can't locate an adjusting tension method. All the videos fail to locate the bolt. I AM AT ODDS WITH IT.can u help
Say for a 2009 nissan versa do you know at all if I have the interlock device installed in my vehicle if trying your tire pressure reset technique will cause my device to alarm setting it off which can lead to a tampering with equipment reading?
If I have a 2010 Nissan Maxima with a recommended 33PSI on each tyre, to do this, do I just need to have 4 different tyre pressure on each and following these steps it will work?
Will this work on the 2015 Nissan Rogue Select (Japan Build)? Could not find any single wire pigtail under the dash. Any help will be appreciated.
Good afternoon George! Just acquired 2010 Nissan Altima 3.5SR for my daughter. TPMS remains on solid. When grounding the lead from the white plug 6 times, no flashing on TPMS warning light. I am assuming the batteries in one or more sensors have discharged and no longer communicate. I guess the only thing to do is replace all four sensors and follow your procedure again? Now, if I purchase sensors, can I do the procedure before I install them and verify that this will work and then install the sensors? Any other suggestions? Thanks, Chuck
Thanks, can do after I figure out why I do not have any headlights...
2009 Altima. Set all 4 tires to those pressures, grounded the sensor so the light was flashing, but when I drove the light never went to solid. I drove for 5-10 minutes mostly over 30 mph. When I turned the car off and back on again, then the light went solid. Drove back home and filled tires. After those drove around and the solid light still stays on. Did I do something wrong or do I have a bad sensor?
Thanks have a 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5s and have this problem
Thanks for the replay George, but can you show me or tell me how? 'cuz I have no idea how to do it.
Hey man after I touch ground 6times TPMS light did not flash. Keep stay solid do you know what it mean? Thank you
how i know witch one is. If i by the 4 sensors i need some device to program or is the same prosess. because i see others videos they are aweking the sensors.
Thanks
gracias it did work on my car thanks a lot
You welcome
Do 2010 Muranos have such a grounding wire? I can't find one.
Hi George, this is Mahendra from Massachusetts. I really appreciate that you have taken time to educate through this important factor.
I have a Hyundai Sonata 2007 where there is TPMS sign on all the time. I did check the tire pressure, I lowered it, increased, but the sign did not go until now. If this is procedure to take out, then is it the same for Sonata also. In my car its not a symbol for TPMS warning, rather TPMS itself.
Please help.
Thanks,
Mahendra
I have a 2015 nissan rogue with the triangle question mark icon onbasd,, its due to tpms,, will this procidure works in this year and model?
Hi, very good video. could you help me? my car is a honda civic 2012 and it does not have a TPMS reset button, could you tell me how to reset the TPMS system?
Will there be any way like you did for a 2012 Honda Civic?
please tell me, because in my country Nicaragua only the diler have reset tools.

Thanks George! Will this work on my 2013 Hyundai Accent GS? I tried briefly but couldn't find the white clip under dash.
Can I do this on a Mitsubishi Endeavor? Do you know how to reset it on that vehicle?
Help! I have a Nissan frontier 2006. Fuses are located on the passenger side to the right of the lower glove box and under the hood. There is no loose wire lead. Is there a way to use your method on my truck?
Hi, can I do the same on 2015 Nissan Versa Note? Thanks!
Hello, dear friend. You have very instructive videos. I broke one of the TPMS sensors. I bought a new one. You will not tell me how to train a new sensor for Nisaan Versa 2009. Thank you!!!
how do you do this with a 2012 nissan frontier and does a warranty cover this? thx
Why do you lower the tire pressures below normal recommended and why does each one get lowered to a different PSI number?
2008 Altima. Made sure i am at 34psi 31ps 29psi and 26psi. From drivers front clockwise. I drove it on backroads for 10 minutes and it just kept flashing.
I should say, prior to this it would flash for 60 seconds then stay solid on no matter what psi.
I could not get it in learn mode until i unplugged battery(clear CMOS if you will, lol) and then it was on solid when i turned ign to "ON"(not start) then tapped it 6 times and started flashing. Flashed for the entire drive. So i gave up on it after that.
Now it will start with steady tpms on light unlike before. I can also get it back in to "learn" mode.
I'm going to try something i read elsewhere and drain all tires very low. Let the tpms system "see this", then fill to 34,31,29,26 as stated.
Perhaps the whole thing is different pressure and what i may try is 34, 30, 25,21 or something like that with a wider marging.
*I have not used a TPMS scan tool on it yet. So................in theory i could have a hardware failure like a bad sensor or bad rf receiver. Guessing that these things run 300 to 400mhz rf carrier signals. I just got the car as a spare while our POS Kia witht he bad engine is getting said engine replaced(not fun fighting with Kia btw)
THANK YOU GUYS and thank for the video!
I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson with this problem but I can't find the white piece at 5:15. Any advice pls thanks
So if i buy new sensors, i can do this to set up my car right?
Dude!! That was good. Now how to change the cabin filter in a 2012 altima?
Most cars, from glove pocket compartment
Do you know how to reset or fix the remote for a 07 Nissan Altima they have new batteries and don't work what should I do?
Where would i find the ground wire fpr a 2017 nissan frontier
I just did this to my 2010 Nissan Altima and it did work but it took more than just driving around the block. I actually had to jump on the freeway for about 5 minutes then the light went away. Thanks for the info though!!

on my 2010 my car won't start it start and then shut off I
Will this work on Nissan Sentra 2014 SV?
Well, now a question. I added air for past years and TPMS light would go off. now it doesn't, My manufacture max tire air is 51psi, I have all tires at 41psi. The light is still ON. by doing this trick would it solve the issue if one or more sensors likely are not working???
Question... On my 2010 Altima mine will not turn off even after my sensor has been replaced.
I did this procedure and got to the driving part, the light never turned off, I drove fast, slow for an hour.. I took it to a tire shop, and 1 sensor was bad, they replaced it and programmed the sensor. However the light still hasn't gone off. Now when I try to put it in relearn again the light will not blink, it just stays solid ALL the time, even while I try to tap that wire to ground, and yes, it is a good ground connection. Dealer said it'd be 140$ just to diagnose it which seems nutty just to hook up a scan tool and clear it as that's what seems to be needed...
Anyone have any ideas?
Weird thing to me it will not go into relearn now, it did once but since then it has had a solid light..
Спасибо
will this fry the OBD2 port or ecm?
right at the critical 'tap' time , the video cuts out! is there a sound or click when tapping?
I didn't get this. Do you need to set a specific pressure on each tire so you can reset it? It will check for a specific calibration in order to reset or not?
Where can I found the wire to do the tpms for Nissan Pathfinder 2013 if you can help me with that thanks so much
Interesting, but video could be half as long if not for prolonged watching of tire bleed.
It's drawn out for dummies...
I tried this on a 2008 Altima, the low mo it or light flashes a bunch of times then goes solid and stays solid. The sensors were replaced about 2 years ago.
Would this work for my 2012 maxima also ?
Hi.. i did what you said and everything went good until i fill all the tires with air again the tires are 305 55 rim 20 on a nissan titan 2010 i put 40psi and the light is still there.( i just replaced the stock tires with a diferent rims and bigguer tires and the light came on) i dont know if i did something wrong.. can you help me please.!
What's it mean when my tcs and slip light turn on after I start my car 2 times? I can't go past 2200 rpm until I reset my car
What does it mean when the light is blinking when you turn the key switch and then goes solid after I start the engine? Also when I tap the grounded metal, it doesn’t seem to effect the light at all
WIll this work on a 2010 Infniti qx56?
Can you do this for a 2008 honda civic si?
I just replaced all the sensor on my 03 Nissan 350z with original sensors, but still the same like the old ones, the light flash when start the car and go off,got no light and no tire pressure on the display, any idea what’s going on? Maybe needs a reset or something is wrong with the system? Thanks!

I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra. This weekend I replaced all 4 Wheel TPMS sensors with new ones. I took more than half of the steering dash area panels out of the vehicle. I cannot find the pigtail (White Wire), I could not even find a Reset button. I NEED HELP!!! Any chance you could do a video on a specific 2012 Hyundai Elantra please????
Did this on a 11 Nissan Altima. The Check Tires message turned off but the solid flat tire indicator won’t go away. Any suggestions?
It's work por Hyundai Santa fe 2013?
Thanks George! I’m going to try this on a 2016 maxima with swapped wheels off a 2013 Altima (don’t ask) lol. I’ll be back with feedback!!
Did it work?
What about the spare tyre. Do we have to deflate that too??
