    You need to set your tire pressure at fl 36 fr 33 rl27 rr 30. Then wire procedure and drive. Light goes out then sends warning to pressure up. Do so and light goes out. Tricky but does work.

      Thanks for the advice. I have been trying several different things just don’t want to post multiple fail videos lol. I’m convinced that the batteries are dead and not communicating

      Does all that driving build up pressure from the heat and mess up the “cold” setting for the correct psi.

  • @kevinmcdaniel7206
    @kevinmcdaniel7206 3 роки тому +3

    Yes the specific tire pressure of 3633 30 27 is the key to getting this to reset. The first tire pressure is front left and the rest are clockwise

    My TMPS light is blinking as soon as I put my key in the on position. is that normal? I tried this once but it didn't work, either I used a rusted ground area or the TMPS blinking light when key is on is the issue?
    My vehicles diagnostic scanner that plug into the OBD port can read all the tire sensors, so I don't think the issue is a tire sensor not being able to be read. Hopefully I'll just have to try this again?
    Thanks for the video.

    You can also try the Autel MaxiTPMS TS508 to diagnose which wheel has the faulty sensor. Once you find the problematic TPMS sensor, replace it with a new sensor (Nissan OEM, REDI-Sensor 7001HP/SE10001HP, or an Autel MX 1-Sensor programmed to the car's make, model, and year). After that, use the TS508 to perform an OBD relearn.
    I hope that helps.

    • @leh3827
      @leh3827 Рік тому

      That helps but the TS508 costs $400-$500. Is there a cheaper version unit that can simply tell you the Nissan TPMS sensor is signaling or not, ie. GM or Ford vehicles use a small handheld detector that does just that for $10 or $15.

      Take it into a big tire company and they will be able to tell you if your tpms is sending signal or not. Most the time they will do it for free or very cheap

    After getting to that point you might have to fill the tires up in order for the light to finally go out; You can't expect the light to go out when the pressures are still all goofy. No? 🙂

    • @ModdingAddiction
      @ModdingAddiction  Рік тому

      No that’s just to tell the car where each sensor is to try and relearn the serials of each tire. Once it is done re pump up the tires and the light should go away if done correctly. It turns out that 3 of my batteries were completely dead and it didn’t work out for me but it was free and semi easy so thought I would try.

  • @shikha5246

    I filled my tire pressure up yesterday asked a stranger if it looked good and got the okay. Tire pressure went off and then this morning came back on but I felt my tires and looked at them and they look fine. I don’t want to add more air and risk popping it

    • @ModdingAddiction
      @ModdingAddiction  11 місяців тому

      Looks can be deceiving always check the pressure. The car can’t look at the tire it relies on how much pressure is in the system. It will also fault if there is too much air pressure. Get a cheap gauge or swing into any tire place and they would be happy to check the air pressure. It’s usually fast and free. Then if it’s know to be at the right pressure your TPMS sensor might have a dead battery that need replaced. Good lock.

    Judging by the stands hanging from the ceiling, you ride street bikes, thats cool. I also see the rc cars in the back too, i like those. You got a garage full of tools also and i can dig that. I also like the idea of a sticker on the air pressure light cause that the same thing i did. However, what on earth is up with that haircut...

    i had the light for over 3 months.what i did is i inflated the 4 tires this way you're activating all tpms.then just drive it for 12-15 mins ..turn it off for 10 mins or so..... it should go off..it worked for me

      @ModdingAddiction  4 роки тому

    Saw your video wand wanted to help, so I had the same problem but what I did different is drive down a long road at a constant speed of about 40mph. I did that until the blinking light stopped and turned off, then I kept driving until it came back on and when I got home I aired up all tires to actual PSI pressure while the car was running, didn’t turn the car off and the light went away and now they’re calibrated. So it’s not just a short drive, you have to drive at a constant speed for a while, I drove for about 1 mile or so until the light turned off and then turned back on. Hope this helps someone.

    I'm going to order some off of eBay. Avg price is $50 for 4. I contacted Discount Tire and they will replace 2 (my parts) for $20 labor. I'm tempted to just replace all 4 although only 2 are bad. Luckily I got my tires from Discount Tire. NTB said $112 labor only (they're on crack), Firestone said they won't use my parts (they're on crack) and Pep Boys said they'd do it for $20 (for 2).
    It pays to look around. A couple shops try to make the programming sound difficult. What a crock of shit! Crooks!
    I've gone this route with other things and it hasn't failed me yet. It's just frustrating but hey, I save money that I can spend on R/C!

    • @ModdingAddiction
      @ModdingAddiction  4 роки тому

      If two have gone out the others aren’t far behind. Might as well fix it all and not worry about them again. Where did you find them? Let me know if this works I need to get a new set. Good job on shopping around pays to do your homework. Plus R/C parts are always a good time. I love my E-REVO and helicopters
