Unless you misspoke and meant that she's the first FEMALE Fire Emblem character whose base class is Warrior, then the Saphir fact is incorrect. Geitz in Blazing Blade and Basilio in Awakening are recruitable and start in the Warrior class, plus there's Ymir in Shadow Dragon as well if you're willing to kill off enough characters to get to his gaiden chapter. Aside from that, great video.
@@glitchwarrior7270 I didn't mention Bartre because Blazing Blade is a prequel to Binding Blade, so the "earliest" in the timeline we see him is as an axe fighter in Blazing Blade. So technically, you could say his "base class" is axe fighter. I didn't know about Dagdar though (haven't played Thracia yet) so thanks for that one.
Yeah, Yunaka kind of reminds me of Charlotte from Fates in that aspect, though instead of trying to appeal to men, Yunaka is trying to hide her true identity.
A detail about Eve and Morion is that thry may have been Green units considering the only voice lines they lack are the engage related ones, and you can't give ally units any ring
As for why some of the Ally Notebook details were excluded overseas, it seemingly has to do with character limitations. You see as Japanese is a “shorter” language you can fit a lot more information in less words, a luxury that English and other languages do not have. And honestly looking at how the Ally Notebook is formatted, you can that there is just barely any room at all, thus the localizers essentially had to make the most out of the situation they were given. I wished IS would’ve considered this more when making the Ally Notebook, but it is what it is.
Sorry to correct you but my inner gardener has to correct you all of Elysia’s characters are named after plants not trees specifically. Ivy is a vine, Hortensia(Hydrangea) is a small shrub etc. Not sure entirely about ambers actor but sometimes on extremely rare occasions really talented people are just pulled of the street that have a knack for stuff. I remember watching a commentary for the Black Butler Dub and they said the guy who voiced Greil was just pulled up and done so well he got the part and it’s the only role he’s ever done.🤔 (if I’m wrong please correct me as it’s been a very long time)
3:12 I like to think that while Chloe likes food overall, she doesn't like to eat a lot in one sitting. So the 'large plate dislike' makes a lot of sense.
Maybe I'm late to this, but Yunaka talks in an archaic Japanese. That wasn't carried over with the localization, but it's even stated as a characteristic of her in the manga
7:16 It’s because Alt. Hortensia hates cute. Alt. Ivy made her dress the way out Hortensia does to humiliate her. 7:55 We do get an Anna X Anna hero duo with the gremlin voiced by Monica Rial, while the older one is still Karen Strassman… Also fun fact, we later get a Tiki X Tiki duo hero. Both are still voiced by Mela Lee, but have different Japanese Voice Actresses. 9:21 Well, I think that’s understandable. Not sure if this is the same for the Japanese fandom. 9:35 Seadall is a refresher. In this chapter, he is paired with Emblem Corrin. Corrin’s closest ally is an another refresher in the form of Azura. 10:00 One of my favorite supports in the game. Especially for Hortensia. 10:56 That’s actually many characters. Including Evil Veyle.
Interesting video. But considering that Lumera gives Sigurd’s ring to Alear before passing away, Lumera more meant to be a female Sigurd or Deirdre IMO. And while it’s true that Lumera does get revived by Sombron and used to fight Alear like Mikoto was, I personally don’t care. 1. Mikoto was hardly referenced in any other route after her death, not even in the route where she revived. Outside of a few supports in Fates. While Lumera on the other hand is clearly remembered by the game. This especially becomes the case in the late game as we learn more about Alear and Lumera’s relationship in the past and how she saved Alear. 2. Even with this comparison in mind, Lumera IMO is the better written Mikoto. Even chapter 25 IMO, was a better written chapter than the one Mikoto was revived in. 3. Mikoto’s revival only happens in Revelation which is DLC (which is now no longer available with 3DS shop having shut down completely). And you aren’t even meant to play Revelation first, only play the first two routes, THEN Revelation. Which, oh dear, is no longer available to purchase. What a pity… 5:43 Yunaka was my second favorite character, now she’s my third. 6:19 I love this cutscene, not just because I love Ivy’s character. Just the way that Wyvern roars in the screen as she makes her entrance. It does an excellent job of hiding Ivy’s true overtly stoic, but kind hearted, nature who is just as much of a goofy goober as most of her other allies.
When Alear wanted to run from battle, I immediately hated them and still hadn't forgiven them 3:41 Wait, seriously? I thought Louis only liked women talking to each other 5:22 Lapis: 75% speed growth, 25% attack growth. Kind of weird for a land of might. Speaking of, why did they have her act so harsh and have her do a 180 after that scene? 5:57 Yeah, but Petra is being gracious with her speech and doesn't emphasize words like Zelkov or use phrases like Yunaka 8:00 I don't like either voice actress for Anna; especially Monica, she's the worst
Louis in general is a people watcher, with a particular preference for women, but isn’t against watching men as a few of his support and bond conversations show.
I honestly love how they gave every region a different theme for the names.

I definitely meant female... Can't believe I messed that up AND didn't even hear it the bazillion times I've heard it since lmao
@@NagapediaFE No big deal, mistakes happen.
Bartre in Binding Blade precedes *both,* and Dagdar from Thracia goes a layer further. Just letting the squad know.
Or just didn't add the female part of the 1st playable warrior, which is better than misspoke if you ask me.
A case of I forgor vs I said it wrong :P

Every day I thank god they updated Timerra and Fogado's original designs.
i had to look it up. i hate it.
"Saphir who's the first character in FE history who's base class is Warrior."
Basilio from Awakening: "My big brown arse she is!"
For Yunaka, I think he just meant that she talks in a silly way and not in a odd way like other characters do.

Base class warrior.
Dagdar, Bartre(fe6), Geitz, Boyd (fe10), Jake(fe12), Basilio, Alois.
Another thing about Jean is out of all playable characters of every last Fire Emblem game so far he is the youngest at only 10.
