Funfact about Eyvel If you rescue Eyvel in chapter 5 (requires Nanna leveling build 5 times) the game cannot properly remove her from the map. You can't take her out of the map normally because she'll be put in 24x (I guess that's some failsafe if people try to be clever) but you can get her captured by generic enemies which causes her to be transported to 21x instead of 24x. She'll still be stoned though. The funny part about this is that her invisibility is cleared after beating 24x so if you just don't go to 24x then she'll have her invicibility for the rest of the game. For a little bonus round there are lots and lots of enemy units in the story chapters of fire emblem heroes that fall under this catergory, including (but not limited to, this is just off the top of my head) Veronica, Bruno, Black Knight, Ike, Surtr, Hel, Otr, Fafnir, Eitri, and Gullveig. I believe there are others that I’m just not remembering exactly, but this is usually done by giving these units some flavour of skill that just goes “reduces all damage taken to 0”
@@FellMaria Oh yeah I thought Titania might’ve had it as well, and I must’ve gotten Bruno confused with Veronica in a couple chapters in book 1 and 6, I thought he got the Embla seal as well at some point. Similar case with Otr, I’ve just had a quick check and it didn’t look like he got it either
Fire Emblem Heroes also has characters who can't be KO in any ways during story maps. - Book1 : Some ennemis on various acts including Titania and Ike on Chap10, Celica on Chap11, Black Knight on Chap13 (this is an echo to Path of Radiance's map hehehe) (with S Seal "Embla's Ward") - Book2 : Surtr on Chap2 Act5, Chap4 Act5 and Chap7 Act5 (with S Seal "Múspellflame") - Book5 : Fafnir on Chap3 Act5 and Chap7 Act5 and Eitri on Chap13 Act2 (with S Seal "Niðavellir Axiom") - Book6: Veronica on Chap3 Act5 (with S Seal "Embla's Ward") - Book7 : Gullveig on Chap8 Act5 (with S Seal "Gold Perfection") All are defense mode where players has to survive 5-6 turns to complete the act.
Not all thracia immortality flags are created equal. Most playable characters who have it can indeed not die, but Evayle in ch 5 and Tanya in ch 8x can still be captured(and thus their HP reach 0), which the enemy will attempt at random with 1 range weaponry. Also Clarine in ch4 of FE6 is not immortal per se, but enemies will actively avoid attacking her even if she's directly in their way. Which is really useful, actually.
My favorite thing about solon in 3h is that he’s coded to not be able to be killed by jeralt, but jeralt can’t be killed by solon either. You can lock them into a stalemate because of this and it’s hilarious
Special shout out to the final boss of FE10 who can only be killed if Ike lands the finishing blow. Don't know if the game mentions it and I over looked it on my first play through or what but man was that an aggravating hour+.
You absolutely can fight Raydrik and Veld in the early chapters of Thracia. There's a Meteor tome in C3 and just enough Fire tomes to let Asbel reach A Fire during Chapter 5.
The fact RD devs took into account the inevitability of the game getting hacked to have some otherwise inaccessible dialogue shows just how much foresight they had.
More likely to prevent a hard lock in-case of something going awry/overlooked or maybe at one point was possible for the Black Knight to die but was changed later on.
No mention of Teronda (The boss of Chapter 6 in Engage) ? If you didn't kill the bandit with Micaiah's ring he dodges any attack that would kill him including Engage attacks.
Bit of an edge case, but Garon in Birthright Chapter 12 is meant to be avoided due to his dangerously high stats at that point in the game; that said, it *is* possible to beat him if you’re particularly daring, and he even has a retreat quote for that scenario. A similar thing happens with Julius in Chapter 10 of Genealogy of the Holy War.
Not truly impossible but Teronda, the random bandit boss from engage chapter 6, he is unkillable if the ring of the dawn maiden hasn't been collected , he can be reduced to 1 hp and all subsequent attacks are auto-misses. Also meaning despite being a "defeat the boss" chapter the first generic theif unit on alear and yunaka's side path must be killed to finish it despite lacking any "boss" designation .
I believe Minerva and the white wings have invincibility flags in FE1/11 Chapter 7/FE3 book 1 Chapter 6. Probably because Marth's detour to Deil Prison wouldn't make sense if they died in that chapter.
When it comes to characters that can't fall in battle in certain chapters, I would pretty much prefer enemy characters in certain chapters that you aren't meant to defeat. There are some enemy characters in Fire Emblem's history that you aren't meant to defeat in certain chapters.
There's also a few characters from Heroes that straight up cannot be damaged because they have a unique Sacred Seal. First, there's Embla's Ward, which has been equipped by Ike, Titania, Celica, the Black Knight, and Veronica. Next in Book 2, there's Múspellflame, used by Surtr in Chapters 2, 4, and 7. Third, there's Niðavellir Axiom, used in Book 5 by Fáfnir in Chapters 3 and 7, then by Eitri in Chapter 13-2. Finally, there's the most recent one, Gold Perfection, equipped by Gullveig.

Funny how Arvis is unkillable in the first chapter but also very hard to even kill when you actually fight him, as he is basically set with tank stats due to passive(?) proccing so often. I really wish the difficulty of his fight will be "copied" to the FE4 remake.
He doesn't need the passive, Arvis is hard in FE4 because he literally has 30s in every stat, 5 leadership stars (+40% hit and avoid), and a holy weapon that gives him the single highest attack in the entire game. Great Shield is just a bonus, but it's something that god knows how many bosses have had up to this point.
10:47 This is incorrect, she leaves on turn 2 not 4. This was done so you can't get to her on time. If she left by turn 4 it would be possible to get a promoted flier over there by turn 3 and kill her (without the anew staff), considering how small the map is. Therefore the devs made her leave on turn 2.

I was curious as to why and I ended my turn and Jeralt started running away from Kostas on "Other Phase"
That's not really Kostas specifically but how green units work in three houses, it's hard coded that green units cannot kill boss enemies, they always hang on with 1 hp
Related to this, I tried really hard to get Jeralt himself killed in that map, but eventually the enemies started just doing 0 damage to him, despite what the stats said should happen.
Nemesis is another for contention of being unkillable since one of his skills boosts his stats to ridiculous level so long as the Tweleve Elites remain on the field. It would be such a mindfuck if an FE game out where you played the first few tutorial missions with the story focused on a typical FE protagonist with their parent as a Jaqen, then having a mission where a late game villain shows up and the kid tries to be a hero and dies, letting you play on as the parent seeking revenge (and possibly getting hit with the villains dark magic to lower their level/stats).

Installed the game, just for you
Units die when they are killed.
Too bad the parents don't have those skills, Jeralt, Midoko, Lumera, etc.
Seriously FE really doesn't like parents
Fortunately in Three Hopes, you can make sure Jeralt lives. You can do the same for either Rodrigue or Lonato (but never both).
@@bificommander7472 Definitely would be interesting
Dang, I never tried the Alm and Rudolf combat so I never saw that. Why is Echoes so good?😭
You can do it in Gaiden, too
@@luthierisbestboy8177
Oh, you right. Why is Valentia so good?😭
Preach it 😌🙌
Was a little sad Mekkah didn't see it on his blind playthrough. I did on mine though.
Doesn’t Cindered Shadows have those unkillable golems that you need to run from?
You can kill them, they just have dangerous stats and abilities, and you'll probably run out of turns retreating if you do
Pfff heheheh I love how abyme is like the new McCartney
Will never not love chibi Edelgard
well i wasnt expecting the star rail ad but its useless i already have silverwolf
I love this Thumbnail
Gamer edelgard is now a thing.
extremely clean ad transition
You forgot warriors three hopes byleth prologue she/he is unkillable
Seth could kill all these guys.
I despise how you can't defeat Veyle in the escape sequence of FE Engage.
Nice lil sponsor transition 👈😎👈
FEW had such a wasted opportunity with the characters--prompted by your clip of Gharnef from that game, and my disappointment that there wasn't any use of Imhullu, let alone the weird class names--I can't be the only one who's dreamed about replacing Lucina and Chrom with Seliph and Sigurd.
Also in fe4, Julius can’t die.
You can definitely defeat julius in fe 4
You can absolutely beat him in chapter 10 it's just a massive pain in the ass and he comes back to be the final boss anyways
Edelgard instead of Engooje!? Sign me up
Thanks for marking the intro this time so I can skip it
Evil Veyle is the best version of Veyle she’s the true Veyle.
Holy tamales!! 😮😮😮😮
