I've always enjoyed unique battle dialogue in Fire Emblem. The characters would have their moments, at times there is a heart to heart between characters, AND THEN COMES A GIANT FIST! But anyway, thank you for uploading these, there were some I missed that I wish had happened.
Hey, that conversation between Corrin and Seadall was actually a good throwback! In Kaze's S support conversation with Corrin, he points out that she likes teasing others about past failures. Fates is still by far one of my favorite Fire Emblem games!
In general Eirika has some gold in her lines--see, Eirika x Forde support chain. She's not perfectly written, but she's got her moments (both good and bad.)
Wish the Emblems interacted more between each other! Celica does mention Marth about his continent, but it'd be so fun to see them hang out and talk in the Sominel or after battle in exploration.
huh, Byleth vs Hortensia goes a lot harder in the original. Byleth laments that its a wonderful thing to still be friends after this battle. After the line Hortensia comments that Byleth's looks got really serious all of a sudden and that it seems she has to also try her best.
that single line from byleth characterizes him better than all of three houses lmao, imagine he wasnt silent in that game and you could hear him grieve over fighting edelgard (at least in silver snow)
@@buttery_gooch6 Agreed, there was so much suggested character to him but none of it was actually shown. Like for example, in chapter 10 Byleth was supposedly charging forward in blind rage towards kronya but we still have full control. It would have been better, at least from a character standpoint, to have no control of byleth during that battle and whatever house lord be the main commander for that battle since byleth isn't thinking straight and just moving straight to the boss as fast as possible.

And there is no indication in byleth body language to show emotion either. So, all in all. Byleth is more of an avatar character that an actual avatar character.

There had to have been some deleted scene where Alfred has some significance with Lucina. There's no interaction when you get her ring in-game; only the opening cutscene where they're fighting together. It's so odd.

Pretty cool for these emblems to be able to have convos like this, it’s something that feh sorely lacked despite having almost 1000 characters in their game
I have a question PM1, does Hortensia have any line with Lucina during her paralouge? Ivy used Leif in chapter 8 and she has lines with him during his paralogue so I was wondering if the same applies to Hortensia
@@Pheonixmaster1 it's weird that she doesn't have one with Lucina despite not only being the first to use her in the story and is also the one who showed off the dark emblem mechanic, yet Alfred who has absolutely no connection to Lucina in the games story at all is the one who has unique dialogue with her.
Regardless if it's against emblem ring wielders and emblems themselves or some other third thing. It's always fun to just playthrough the game again and experiment with characters to see what interactions you get... followed by beating them afterwards.

I think it was a clever way of incorporating game mechanics into a dialogue to canonize it. 'Covert' units get 2x avoid bonus on Avo+ tiles, but 'Mystical' units, namely Sages, bypass avoid, so it makes sense for Yunaka to say that she has trouble against them. Yunaka/Corrin lets have 2x avoid permanently anywhere, but a group of 'Mystical' units are legitimately hazardous; she'll kill them on counter, but she'll still take the hit and if 3 or 4 attack back to back, she'll still die.
Arena Ferox is the arena where the western and eastern khan battle to decide who will reign over the Regna Ferox. Each khan doesn't actually battle in the arena, but they hire the strongest warriors they find and let them battle in their stead. If one of the 2 khan's warriors win, the khan that hired it get to be the ruler of Regna Ferox until the next competition. In Awakening Chrom and Lucina are hired by Basilio (Lucina, at that time still under the name of Marth) and by Flavia (Chrom), with Chrom defeating Lucina in battle, Flavia becomes ruler of the Regna Ferox. She’s been like that ever since she was first voiced by Mela Lee in Awakening, as far as I recall. I suppose so many people liked the choice, and it stuck around all this time.

@@Vandalieu It's not much, but according to their bond convos Lucina used to be Firene's emblem before she was replaced by Celica for unknown reasons
