Hi Dr. Jubbal, just wanted to say that even though I’m only in undergrad, whenever life/school gets tough, I watch one of your vids and it pushes me through :) thank you for that
Your point about being in a relationship forcing integrity through compromise is much like Jordan Peterson’s point on the topic of “outsourcing sanity.” I.e. We have trusted individuals who we communicate with to help regulate our behavior in the appropriate way.

Great answers to your questions, J! Welcome to the tea club. Btw if you'd like to try out new tea that hits the spot, I urge you to buy Kenyan tea. Either head to your friend's or to an African store to buy it. Get the tea leaves as opposed to the tea bags. You'll get a stronger flavour and aroma in your tea from the tea leaves. I'm not being biased here when I say this but our tea is considered one of the best.
So funny about tea… four years ago, I realize that drinking PG tips before coffee what is a nice prelude to the immediate energy of coffee. I started doing this and I’m now exclusively into drinking strong tea! After five minutes of steeping, L-Theanine kicks in and you get a lot more balanced energy. I’m now really curious about Nootropics as well as methods (I hate to use this term, but it covers a multitude of practices) “Biohacking.” 😂
@Kevin Jubba, M.D. Kevin, you used the term "forcing function" during your pros-and-cons of relationship discussion. Were you using its meaning in the Differential Equation context (i.e. the inhomogenous term in an ODE or PDE)? If not, what did you really mean by "forcing function"?

26:00 I disagree a bit with this. If you are persuing a partner to have a corrective force and an exercise of virtues maybe a therapist would be a better suit. If you have such expectations from a partner they better be benevolent and ready for a lot of emotional labor.

Hi. I think I would like to be a doctor but I need some help 😭. I think I have gotten the idea in my head that I would enjoy being a doctor over quite a long time, but I’m not sure if it’s genuine or if I have just told myself I would enjoy being a doctor - like an anaesthesiologist or something. How could I actually know if I genuinely want to be an anaesthesiologist or not?? I’m only 15 at the moment but I really need to figure this out 😭😭 🙏🏻

Should a neurosurgeon marry a neurosurgeon or someone from non medical profession? Which is better?
Not getting married and just being long term partners.
Don’t think someone’s profession should be a high priority when choosing a partner
