Ford F750 is my favorite vehicle in the game. I just love the way it drives, and it looks good too! Tatarin is crazy, mostly because of it's tires - their mud coefficient is 3x that of the best mud tires of other trucks. The problem is that I get a lot of punctures with it, for some reason...
4th is fair for Tatarin. It does 2 things, it does those 2 things extremely well. Those two things are mud and pulling. It will go though any mud in the game and it will pull any stuck truck of any size out of any hole it's in and drag it to any location it needs to get to. The Tatarin literally out muds and out pulls any big truck I can think of. Heck I even pulled the train and space rocket with this thing (although rocket wasn't easiest, not due to lack of pulling power, but due to the parking lot being icy. But still, it did it.) It's been one of my favourites since the day I first found it. Objectively 4th is fair though. While it can pull any stuck truck out of any situation, if said truck needs fuel & repair and the Tatarin's going to have problems as it doesn't have much extra in either of those. (it has like 120L fuel and 150 repair in the rack, which is not much). And it lacks trailer support entirely. So for what it does, it's the king of doing it. But lack of versatility keeps it out of #1 spot.
i bought the Land Rover Defender pack because it reminded me of my dad's old defender. i like to drive with them in SnowRunner but in zones with snow they struggle a lot
I've always got a soft spot for the Tuz 166. Not the biggest or the best, useless for towing, but small enough to go round obstacles & between trees. Wheel at each corner makes it very good for getting out of ditches too.
The Zikz 566A also makes a great scout! It’ll go through/over pretty much anything. Fit the roof rack and/or fuel tank bed and you’ll never run out of fuel either. You can explore entire regions without stopping.
wow i never even heard of that last one, i am going to have to look it up. I was trying to see what a good scout is, i don't have any of the top ones in this video so i got some options to look for in starting new maps, thanks.
Tuz 166 is the only scout i found so far in this game. the Don and small cat are useful in emergency situations. The rest i find being service/support vehicles with offroad capabilities. Some excellent but not really scouts. The Tartarin is an IFV used as disposable sensor for tanks, where it get stuck dont drive the tank there. Even if it was made out of paper and tinfoil it could not get anywhere near its game performance. Has to add ive just a couple of hundred hours in this game, like it very much, and play without the truck store mostly.
I break up scouts into two classes. Tree-weavers, and (TF2 joke) fat scouts also know as support scouts. Both can be useful but with different roles and expectations of what they can do.
Exactly this. I love these videos but every time he says that scouts are not that useful I assume he must use them in a completely different way from me. I'm a tree-weaver fan as I like to reveal a map and pick up all the upgrades and jobs before I really do anything. Small, nimble, fuel efficient scouts that are just fun to drive like the Yar are my preferred option. Skipping cross-country and over hills makes a nice gameplay change from moving around a huge truck. Those wide ones are too thirsty (mostly), slow and get stuck everywhere unless you know the map well already.
I dont have every DLC yet, but currently i have 2 main scouts, the true scout, and the support scout. If im trying to get to the tough upgrades and watchtowers and whatnot, i use the jeep wrangler, its hard to flip with the crawler suspension and does crawl over a lot and even with off road tires instead of mud, it gets everywhere ive asked it to, also if you do flip it, it is light enough to flip back over even with small trees. Then the support scout is the f750 cause its small enough to do a lot of the scout stuff but also caj knock out a few repair and recover missions while scouting, and can recover trailers along the way.
@@shalindelta7 the tatarin is by far the best scout, insane mud performance with the only downsides being no trailer hitch and no snorkel, the only things that come close are the new earthroamers but the tatarin is still by far the best scout.
@@alexorsmthnidk2449handling performance isnt great, and its huge,I prefer using the ford f750 over the tatarin, mud performance doesnt matter if you know how to avoid mud, tatarin big size sometimes causes you to not being able to use some tree shortcuts. My personal rating would be 1st Ford F750 2nd Tatarin 3rd Earthroamer
@alexorsmthnidk2449 it's my favorite to use too, but there is rhyme and reason as to why it's rated 4th in this video. You clearly know why, you literally said it but you still wana argue.
One of my fav scouts these days is the KHAN 317 Sentinel. It's just a pleasure to drive and have really good fuel economy, just stick to the stock transmission and engine cause you really do not need extra power and the H-gear often feels too slow on regular scouts anyway and do just fine in Auto. That goes for a lot of small to medium scouts honestly. Engine power is almost never needed cause I have never felt that I was lacking power when trying to pull anything, it was always grip that was lacking. Some exception apply such as the Ford but that's a special case due to its weight and load it carries.
really intresting immagine tatarin to have lots of roof racks that would be the ultimate support scout and it woudl have been in first place in this rank
Favorite scout in the game is hands down the Khan 39 Marshall. It is objectively pretty dogshit, but I enjoy putting on the smallest engine and the stock gearbox and getting like 0.2 gallons per minute or something like that. That is how I play most scouts in this game, since most are so similar, I try to use each to their own unique quirks (even if it is technically worse). Like the JAT mudtires look so stupid on the scouts so I just don't use them, I use custom tires or the altima tires. There isn't a point in most of the scouts needing bigger engines so I just sell them and use the smaller ones. I find that this just makes the game far more fun and exciting, especially when I am using scouts the way they are meant to be used (cutting through trees, literally scouting ahead and surveying the terrain, finding alternate routes, etc.) instead of just high gear through the mud.
Great video but my personal best scout truck is tuz 420 because you can found very early in the game free and very powerful engine its can pull everything and its have best tires in the game and the downsides no chaintires and you cannot attach any trailer or something like that
Just use some mods and have some fun. Never mind sucking all the enjoyment out of the game towing a rusty wheelbarrow with a snail so you can get paid peanuts. Download the max truck pack, get yourself a Sprinter, put some 79" wheels on it and have some fun.
I feel like I watched paid advertiser... Ford F750? yeah, its look nice, but he is struggling with his own. Tatarin is beast... almost GOAT YAR 87 is the best! Can town any small trailer, have good fuel consumption and is almost impossible to roll over it...
are you some kind of masochist who likes to get stuck? none of your top 3 scouts even have mudtires ;o]] by far the most capable offroad scout except tatarin is the chevrolet apache and it's not even on your list ;o] my honorable mention (for not a scout I use as a scout) would be the KRS Bandit, such a capable fast small light truck, just a bit tippy
I swear he is using mods anyway. The Rezvani does not drive like that for me at all at all at all. If I tried to drive it the way he shows in this video it would be wheel spinning, going nowhere.
