@ idk about every aspect. Its main downside that turns people away is that it's just very slow...but that's not a big deal bc it's consistent and efficient as well
It's obviously a great truck but it's just kinda boring to drive. Super slow and you don't have to worry about most road conditions. Just point it the way you want to go and go. I like the Azov 5 better atm
i think, it's enough to get tayga and tatrin. both can be found for free with a bit of effort. next - gain some exp to open the tires and intake. tayga upgrades can be gathered without problems using the tatrin.
For some of the less demanding DLC regions I forced myself to use base game trucks that I initially never gave a chance, and am having a great time in Ontario because of it.
itsmrlonewolf brings up a good point that by doing the missions faster, your saving yourself fuel, compared to slow and efficient trucks, tbh thats just an excuse i use to use fast trucks
the paystar 5070 is a good starter truck, the brother of fleetstar. Although it's quite tipsy and heavy-drinker but can be manage and that's the fun part.
I discovered my GOAT the Tayga 6436 very efficient especialy if raised susp. + Highrange gearbox is installed, this thing is very fast and rarely gets stuck. When you know a section is problematic just go offroad and use the H Gear and your only issue is that this Truck goes too fast and need to slow down in order to control that silly beast xD
Trucks in each of the Base game regions that I use in later regions: Michigan: P16 MH9500 C70 Fleetstar Transtar White Western Star 4964 Alaska: BM17 ANK MK38 Military Cat 745C Derry 3194 Taymry: Tayga 6436 Dan 96320 Tuz 420 Tatarin Step 310E I find these to be the best in some of the later regions IMPO.
Azov 6 and Varon AE - you can actually play the whole game with this ;) Varon AE - use with standard gearbox. It has enough power and does not need H. Burns much less fuel with standard gearbox. You just have to learn to downshift with shift key. Freightliner M816A1 - I do not recommend it, especially in hard mode. It's probably better Pacific P12. Overall P12 is a good buy in Michigan to handle oversized trailer. It handles logs great in the early game. Azov 5 - This is a very uneconomical truck, it often runs out of fuel even in normal mode. I do not recommend. Varon D - This is the weakest Varon, so I do not recommend it. Freightliner 114SD - competes only with Paystar 5070, if you have Varon AE this will be a downgrade. Kolobs - Overall, they are not necessary to complete the game. In my opinion, they are overall disappointing. Azov 7 - A faithful companion in hard mode. My review are different, but I look at it from the perspective of hard mode, truck overloading, fuel economy. In hard mode you finish one mission and look for another, not go back to the garage. I also think that a semi-trailer and crane is better than a crane, bed and trailer combo.
Can anyone tell me why I have to map and link my G29 wheel every time I try to play??? Getting to the point I'm getting tired of even messing it! And linking it is a pain in the A%%!!! Really adds to the frustration!!!! Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! Great video by the way!!!
Hey Cyrus, are you going to do an updated version of which DLC regions to do first? I’m gonna be buying all the DLC this Christmas so would love to know where to fit S11-14 in the list
Where to fit season 11-14? As someone who's played a decent amount in all of those, I'll give you my opinion. Terrain difficulty, I'll rank from easiest to hardest Season 12: (easiest[of these 4]) Season 14 Season 13 Season 11 (hardest[of these 4]) Because it's a snowy region Contract difficulties I'll rank from easiest to hardest Season 14 (involves some crafting but not a lot) Season Season 13 (involves no crafting but has a few heavy trailer missions that involve going into the queries) Season 11 (has a lot of crafting) Season 12 (has A LOT more crafting and heavy trailers) Now the trucks you get from each region, I'll rank from the worst truck line-ups to the best truck line-ups Season 11 ( you get two scouts and one good, and the other is mid, but both are scouts) Season Season 14 (you get two scouts and two tractors. All of the above are good for their classes. The two scouts are basically the same, but they are the best in their class) Season 13 (you get a pretty good heavy truck and a scout) Season 12 (you get an amazing heavy truck and a scout) And for overall enjoyment, I'll rank them based on my general opinion (worst to best) Season 12 (a cool and unique experience, there's a lot of cool tasks and contracts, like how you help build a nuclear power plant, but after you do the missions, the rest gets way too repetitive) Season 13 (this region has some uniqueness as well, like having 3 queries and is really rocky but only has one map and is nothing special) Season 14: Good map designs with lots of roads and different routes to take have 3 gateways between both maps. There's rule forests and there's towns and mountains Overall atmosphere is very enjoyable) Season 11 (has a mix of snow and mud has mountains towns and forests has good contract structure and yes involves crafting but is Overall not bad and crafting can be enjoyable)
@@aaroncook2052 Thirded. Do the "Not a Roller Coaster" Task in Almaty to get the Plad 450 and it's three upgrades (two engines & Gearbox), use that to get the Femm and it's 3 upgrades (two engines + Locking Diff) because these two would go through Yukon like a hot knife through butter. (I finished Yukon in my current save before getting these two).
I have to respectfully disagree a lot with this video. First, the best tire in game is OHD I, excluding MSH/special tires. And heavier tyre makes the truck more powerful which is useful for 5070. As a hard mode player, I disagree with purchasing Vorons. Tayga is better than all of them. Also some trucks like Freight M, are questionable recommendation. The winch thing in the back prevents your saddle trailer from turning when reversing.
I mean it's pretty obvious he didn't intend this list for hard mode. In fact I would argue anyone playing hard mode has enough game knowledge to know which trucks they need and don't.
I don't like Kolob 74760, anytime I have a bigger bump in the road the rear fenders catch on heavy trailers and the front of the truck is lifted in the air and I can't steer. If I have to use a Kolob I will use the 74941, because there it has less of an effect. The fact that it doesn't have difflock always on doesn't bother me because I can't go faster than low plus with 74760 too because it just lacks power.
Nice video. where I am struggling with is, how do I know what equipement to bring for a mission? I have driven a long distance a couple of times, just to find out that I brought the wrong trailer or saddle for that contract 🙈.
This description is quite confusing because you do not stress the basic difference between light and heavy trucks: light might be very fast with no load but become extremely slow howling heavy load, while heavier trucks can howl heavy load in mud without much loss in speed. So when you tell that Azov 64131 is slow compared to Voron, you're right but you do not mention, that Azov is much more heavy itself. So it would not be slow at all while carrying loaded semitrailer.
Why this yt says always “azov six four von three von”, instead of “six four one three one” =)))) i mean i laught a lot always when he say “vone instead of one” 😂😂 he do that in every video i watched. Anyway, i start to love that
I have a problem I buyed snowrunner season 7 a year ago but yesterday it was locked so I tried to unstall it and install it again but when I unstall it desebered from the game files and when I went to the store I saw that I need to buy the season again ... but I buyed it almost a year from now so please tell me what to do
I think the best truck to buy is the ones you like driving. You only truly know how good a truck is compared to others driving one and then another. It's easy to just say this truck is the best in the game but there's no challenge then or reward when you actually use a crappy truck then go to a good truck you really notice the difference playing the game and makes it more rewarding overall experience in my opinion. You get to feel how different trucks feel and drive and what you like and don't like about each truck.
not really interesting in hard mode or hard NG+, it's almost cheating when you buy from the other side of the world then transfer it for free (even 5k is free) :)
Yeah.... in hard mode transferring trucks from one region to another becomes expensive really quickly. Hard mode requires far more commitment in general, including the vehicles which you get for free.
I'm on Hard mode and only using American trucks so far (went after them in the regions though) used the first little off road vehicle when you start any game and then went after the Ankh in Alaska and the Pacific in Maine (I think it was Maine). Then Saved the Derry Special, Basically sold every Vehicle I didn't have a use for like the BM17 Pacific trucks or scouts. True. They shadow nerfed my beloved P12. Never tell them what your favorite is.

base game trucks are quite capable atleast in my opinion. there is no reseason to buy dlc trucks until yukon.
