Girl!! I am so proud of myself for hanging with you as someone who before doing this video felt like I lacked a lot of core strength. I stuck to it and completed this video and day 3 of this challenge. And during that meditation at the end I felt like a damn dragon! I was in my bubble, inhaling and exhaling and embodying strength. When I looked at day 3 this morning at 5:45am and it said strength, tone abs and legs I thought "I don't feel like doing something hard. I'm tired.". Life feels hard and full of challenges on its own right now, why add challenge? I've done enough yoga to understand I need to show up even when I want to hide out. I feel like a different person and have a whole new perspective on my day after this practice. I feel great after all the other videos as well but wanted to post because I felt a lot of resistance to practice this morning. I'm happy I showed up and just want to thank you for putting yourself out there so people like me can benefit!

Just finished day 3 at noon. We go to early church service and get out 10:45 a.m. My husband always wants to stop at local restaurant for late breakfast. I ate early and just sat with him while he ate in order to get day 3 in. Was worth it. Thanks again for the motivation to get back into a regular routine of yoga.

Woohoo, I needed just this class. Had a crappy day with renewed back-trouble and had to cut short a mountain bike trip this morning, feeling all gloomy. My back held through this sequence and now at least I feel like I have had my little sweat. Thanks Brett!!!

Thank you so much! I'm doing the whole series, but yesterday I did a short session just because my body was super tired and I figured I needed a rest. But then today I came back and I feel so great. Thank you for this beautiful practice. I feel energized and ready to meet the day!

Six years after you did this it is helping me already so much on day 3; you are such a gifted teacher, your words and the sequences are so whole, varied and beneficial to spirit, mind and body. i have felt weakness in my body and lost my motivation lately, but in three days i am healing and strengthening inside and out and i thank you so much for these classes xxx
Just finished the video and I was sweating by the time it was over! The abs at the end were killer. Im so excited to continue forward with my yoga journey! This challenge is exactly what I needed to get the extra boost towards my goals. Thanks Brett!

So proud of myself for getting through 99% of this and just having to pause for the very last sequence of heels 6 inches from floor pulsing, I have avoided anything ab related due to chronic pelvic pain for about 4 years and am just getting back into it in my YTT as I feel the chronic pain ease to support me for inversions. Thank you so much and namaste
I always practice early, early am, but today I was unable to do until 6.30 PM. I am in a pool of sweat and not sure whether this session was just that much more difficult or it was the lateness of the day when I am weakest. But I do feel strong and powerful for being committed. This one has been my favorite so far. I love feeling the strength from my legs. The second half of the video certainly challenged me to dig deeper, and control my breathing to get through the leg up and downs. Thank you! 🙌

Wow. I'm a beginner at yoga and I can't always do all of the things you are doing here, but I think I owed it to myself so I really pushed myself during those ab work outs and I feel great! I was actually introduced to yoga last week in school, and the day I tried it I bought myself a personal yoga mat and am now doing this 18 day routine. I was a little down for the past couple of months and very unmotivated, but doing yoga really makes me feel stronger and very accomplished. Thank you Brett!
Confession, I almost stopped halfway thru. I just wasn't up to a core/tough practice today. Grrr....but guess what! I got thru it!! Wasn't as hard as I imagined, an I appreciate it because I haven't pushed myself in a while. mostly just gentle practices.- and short. But I need a little kick in the booty to get out of my depression rut I've allowed myself to get into. Thankyou so much!! I have a question. I like the bell at the end, but whatis the true purpose for it? I feel it thru my body, but i assume its to bring us back or something?i've seen them used and done a couple of practices where they were used, but other than the nice vibrating chill, and the jolt back to alertness, I was unsure what the intended purpose is. If you've said before, I totally apologize! Hugs and thankyou!!
i cudnt find the day 2 workout so i jumped from day 1 directly to this , i loved it , its not toooo long for me to give up and i been off practice for so long ,, i loved every bit of it .so glad i found u

This one was challenging! I found I could do some level 3s and not others. But it felt really good. I love the bells at the end, it feels like the sound waves go through me and take away negativity with them.

what a practice today, these abs at the end killed me. I am one day late but I don't mind. I was too lazy to begin and then when I begun it was amazing. I saw this as opportunity to come back to my yoga practice. Last year I was In and out all the time and I hated it. I really love to practice with you, thank you Brett so much for bringing me back to yoga.

My core and legs feel stronger ... will include this one on a regular basis outside this challenge. I am trying to work into crow, and this one helped me get a couple of seconds ... slow but forward progress!
Day 3 - still here! Yay! Thank you for another great practice! Not sure if I managed to keep all the right muscle groups tight at the same time (a lot to remember!), but judging by the heat and fatigue in my body now I must have done something right! :-)

Thanks for such an awesome strength class! It really did require a lot of strength and perseverance to get through it, qualities that can serve us in life, as well as on the mat! I loved the plank to knees down, and back up. I could really feel the strength in my lower abs. A very challenging and enjoyable practice, thank you Brett!

Day 3 of this. First time doing yoga in a long time and feeling incredible and exhausted all at once. This one was tough and I struggled alot, but in the end I felt lit up and strong.

It's really amazing how much heat I created in this class, thank you for sharing your passion, love and knowledge via yoga. It's very inspiring. I have a question, I've noticed that when I'm lifting my legs up/down to work on my core like we did in the video I hear a crack on the front of my abdomen area, is this normal? am I going to low or not doing it right? any feedback will be greatly appreciate it. in the second time i am doing the 18 day challenge i am finding i am able to do asanas and movements i wasn't able the do the first time, and i'm kind of pleased with that :)

Brett, Could you please explain the bells at the end of the meditation?
I loved the sequence with holding plank pose and moving the knees down and up.
One problem I always have with boat pose and the reclined poses moving legs up and down is whenever I drop my legs close to the ground, there is a kind of crack in my spine, not painful but feels like the vertebrae are being crunched together, which makes it uncomfortable...is that normal? Even if I put my hands under my hips for elevation and make sure my spine isn't arched it still happens.

Whenever I work abs through moving my legs up and down I end up feeling the strain in my lower back. I wish there were a stretch for it at the end of this session.
Wondering if this would be an appropriate routine for someone w mild diastis recti? Do these moves strengthen the transverse abs and lengthen them? I do have a sequence from a PT but would like to include this as well.
Best to ask your PT or doctor if the moves in the video are right for you💖
